I made my first all in ramen yesterday and it came out so good SHE is glad there was broth left over. For my next batch I only have to make the Soy Bacon Tare. I found the recipe instructions confusing, (a little) but weathered the confusion by sipping on a small glass of 15.7% ABV sake. Having watched this video, and making notes, this is going to be my next Ramen effort. I’ll make it to celebrate my 89th birthday in September.
There are even more levels. Like : Level 10: Go to the beach, pick some kelp in the springtime, dry it in the attic so in the autumn, you have your own kombu.... Level 50: Buy a little pig/chicken....feed it with home grown wheat grass + corn... Level99: Preparing your home made shoyu sauce start with.... Good luck!
Worked at a ramen shop where we cooked our soup for 12 hours and made fresh noodles every morning. Definitely grew a new appreciation and love for ramen as well.
I just saw this tutorial and impressed me enough that I subscribed. I will retire between now and 5 years and like to cook. Right now I have a thing for trying different ramen restaurants here in Los Angeles. When I retire I hope to spend a little more time in the kitchen making what I like. I also would like to travel to Asia and especially Japan.
I miss my fav Ramen place "Crafty Ramen" I'm always amazed at the level of preparation that goes into what looks like a simple dish.. Nothing like real ramen! :)
Istant ramen is the DEVIL!!! Cook some ramen and put it into the freezer next time. So you can just pop in into the microwave and put some noodles into it. Ramen light, but tastes million times better.
Man, those are 10+ recipes for one dish. I'm convinced that is delicious masterpiece, but effort and work are so high. Though I would love to have that meal :D. I enjoyed watching.
wow!! this video was so impressive, you get a sub and a bell ring. I love ramen and it was so nice to see you take the time and make something very beautiful. Thank you so much for the experience!!!
i watched the whole thing in amazement..then realizing its too complicated for me..so i just grab my instant noodles and will just plan on eating this in resto..once pandemic is over :)
It is a work of art but I found a nice middle ground of a simple tare, stock cube simmered with some veg offcuts, sesame oil or scallion oil + what ever meats you want to add. It definitely doesn't compare to this but it's still really nice
great video! really enjoyed watching in detail how to make a bowl of ramen. on a side note, i was able to build an exact replica of the pyramids during this video. so next time i want a bowl of ramen i'll take a week off work, start prepping 3-4 days before my planned dinner, allez cuisine!
Thankfully - a decent ramen shop opened less than an hour away from where I live. There's no way I could ever make this at home, but I'd love to try this!
I didn't realised the long process of cooking method of this ramen recipe ,so many step to implied before you can achieved the satisfying good taste of the palate soup. So yummy and no Msg all cooked naturally by using the right ingredients to complement the balance taste.
you just got a new sub here. ramen is so delicious i used to work at a ramen's place in Hawaii and it was something to enjoy everyday i could never get enough. the topping made it even tastier. thanks for sharing this video.
this was my first time making ramen. it turned out amazing. thank you so much!!! all these people who made comments about them not making it, because it's too much work are missing out.
A very complex recipe but I'm sure the results are worth the wait, especially using fresh noodles. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to more of your recipes. New sub. 👍
Wow! I have always appreciated the ramen I get (tonkatsu) from favorite Japanese restaurant but now having seen how many steps it takes, I have a deeper appreciation! I will continue to buy it! LOL
I enjoy watching different ways of making homemade ramen, but when I do decide to tackle making homemade ramen I really want to do it with the pork broth.
Anyone like me who'd tried preparing ramen from scratch would love & appreciate this video till the very last second.... 😍😍😍 & Anyone who'd tried a bowl of ramen like this at ramen shop, pls shout out "Thank you, Chef!" * Best line- "no msg added" This is all about homecooked food, YEAH!!!! 乾杯, Chef~~
Thanks for this beautiful recipe! I watched the whole but looks like only ingredients that i can find in Turkey is chicken and water 😢 i must definetly visit japan asap!
I was very impressed with all the steps it takes to make this Shoyu Ramen soup. It looks so delicious. It seems like forever to make it so perfect. This was a wonderful video and a soup I would love to eat, not so sure about making it. Very impressive thank you.
Great video. So detailed and easy to follow. Do japanese people often mix pork and chicken for the broth for shoyu ramen? Thank you. Liked and subscribed. I hope for more videos!
Thank you, I learned a lot watching your video. You used what seemed to be two types of fish flakes and you named the second one but I was wondering why the second one as I had never heard of it? Bonita I’d heard of before
This is not a dish most japanese people cook at home, You go to a ramen shop where they make this in large quantities. Yes this is a dish that takes days to make, but if thats your job I don't think it's more work than making hamburgest all day long, at least not if you aim for really good hamburgers.
In chinatown i go to the best ramen joint in north america ...lol and they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. They have 2 locations one in my hometown and the other in Japan. Just the broth alone takes 3 days to make and when you taste it you'll understand. There is a sense of pride the way they carry themselves, they know about their product from server to cook. Its hard to describe it but you just know when you walked in and every employee out loud greets you in japanese that you are in for a great food experience. Wear the loose pants coz you gonna have to loosen your belt 1 - 2 notches... This vid reminded me that its been a long time since i visited them..... as in 1 week ago 😊
STEP 1: Watch a video related to this one. STEP 2: Go to the kitchen STEP 3: Grab instant ramen noodles soup cup and microwave it. STEP 4: Enjoy Well actually I didnt eat a real ramen but I saved a lot of time.
Very thorough, brilliant and extremely easy to understand and follow, l will try to get some of the ingredients l do not have and have a go at making this. I usually make PHO my favourite but this might be better, l will let you know. You my friend have got a new Subscriber, thanks again for the excellent video 👍
Hi ramen kaonashi, i made same as you do and it was so good by the way i make a lot of shoyu tare how long the shelf life of shoyu tare? Hope you notice my comment thank you
hi thank you watching and use my recipe!!! Shoyu tare can be stored in the refrigerator for quite a long time! Sometimes you can use it in place of soy sauce to make fried rice and it tastes great :)
One of the best videos on ramen I've seen so far.
I made my first all in ramen yesterday and it came out so good SHE is glad there was broth left over. For my next batch I only have to make the Soy Bacon Tare. Hi! Happy birthday from 2021! :)
Happy birthday from 2022!! 🎉
WOW, I HAVE SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THE PREPARATION OF RAMEN NOW. I LOVE COOKING BUT THAT IS TAKING IT TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL.
There are even more levels. Like :

Best thing about his videos are the techniques and professionalism. Very detail oriented. Great job. This is why I buy Made in Japan.
I like how you left your mistakes in, and went straight to the recipe (no intro crap). Nice work, thanks.
What Mistakes?! No Soup Fo You! NEXT!!!
I miss my fav Ramen place "Crafty Ramen"
I'm always amazed at the level of preparation that goes into what looks like a simple dish.. Nothing like real ramen! :)
I watched the entire thing. Then went ahead and had 2 packs of instant ramen.
Thats precisely what im going to do right now
i was planning to make my own, after watch this I immediately give up and went to a Japanese noodle restaurant
Istant ramen is the DEVIL!!!
Cook some ramen and put it into the freezer next time. So you can just pop in into the microwave and put some noodles into it. Ramen light, but tastes million times better.

Ok this looks delicious but..... wow a lot of work!

this is intensive cooking ... I don't think I have patience for it but I love shoyu ramen, my favorite & I always wondered how it was made.
you just got a new sub here. ramen is so delicious i used to work at a ramen's place in Hawaii and it was something to enjoy everyday i could never get enough. the topping made it even tastier. thanks for sharing this video.

Growing up in japan from the 60’s and 70’s. Tonkotsu ramen did not exist. It was shoyu, shio and miso so I enjoy the classic ramen
i made my first tonkatsu ramen and it was delish, now time to copy your recipe. arigatu gazaimas!
Это пожалуй самый детальный рецепт сёю-рамена, из тех что я видел. Благодарю.
Would love to see more recipies more often... Subscribed ... in faith 👍😉✌
I enjoy watching different ways of making homemade ramen, but when I do decide to tackle making homemade ramen I really want to do it with the pork broth.

Shoyu ramen is so good! Wow great cooking
I never knew that lots of work required for Ramen. I admire.
The art of making ramen... 👏👏👏

Awesome!!! Looks SO GOOD, but so much work. Now I don't feel bad paying $20 for a bowl :)
This is not a dish most japanese people cook at home, You go to a ramen shop where they make this in large quantities.
Yes this is a dish that takes days to make, but if thats your job I don't think it's more work than making hamburgest all day long, at least not if you aim for really good hamburgers.
Ramen restaurants work more like a factory where each step is specialized in order to cut cost.
Thank you for the recipe 🙏🏼. The broth tasted amazing
Just to watch on how to make this menu. I will just go to a good Japanese restaurant and order it. It must be so good.
Now that made me hungry. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks 👍. This is the best how to make ra, en ever. Pass it to your friends.
Awesome ramen ....lots of work but great reward

Looks absolutely delicious. I'd never be able to make it, but it was fun to watch.
Yoo I just made it taste so good thanks for your recipe !!
Mmmm can wait to try this recipe 👍💕💗
Great, ate piece secretly was funny, also so many crazy stuff for just one lil cup of noodle, this is a real effort you've got there:)
All of that for lunch wow so much steps
I change the dried saba with dried anchovy taste still really good
You inspired me to make Ramen at home during the pandemic. Thank you
Very well done!
Reporter: How many ice-baths are you gonna perform to complete a single ramen?
This guy: Yasss
Think l'll skip the ice bath malarkey
In the week or so it takes me to make this, what do I eat?

Compared to my other Tonkotsu ramen cooking this one is a piece of cake ahah
Wow that looks so good!
Is making chashu like that normal? Usually I find recipes that have you simmer it for way longer than that as well as removing the skin.
I’m 29 now, once I perform this recipe I will be able to enjoy when I am 50 🤣
Fantastic!!! Best regards from #Mexico
