I adore the living/dining room. The screenshot looking up to the balcony above is a favorite. Love that new railing! Stunning job. And the color palette is perfection. This style of great room is very common where I live. We toured many many houses like this when we were house hunting. They all seemed to be in HOA's and this was a no-go for us, as we were ready to not live in one. Also, my hubs has knee issues, so we chose a single story rambler. It's smaller than we had wanted, but we may be able to stay in it into retirement. 🤞
I built a ranch house on stilts and I have an open concept with the livingroom, dining room and kitchen. Along with high ceilings. We think alike. It's one of my favorite builds. Took me about 6 hrs to build all together. Great build by the way.

I very much appreciate the "flexibility" you mention in the floorplan. A lot of builders have a plan for their build and there's not a lot of wiggle room, there's no clear wall space to even add your own Sim's art or photos, there's no room to expand. And I realize it's a fine line to balance on, but I quite appreciate this. Edit: It may be worth remaking your childhood home, or an inspired build, around the holiday season, with a Christmas tree and the whole balcony view set up. That would be cute.

What I personally did is to go back in Tartosa and build a winery!!!! I had never built there because I didn’t have inspiration but now I do!!! I never ever understood how they hadn’t put vines and a winery there, but it belongs so, so much!

I absolutely love this build 😍 and being in a house with no upstairs landing is weird my cousin house didn’t have one and I didn’t like that feels like you don’t have privacy so they added a door and that still didn’t help to me 😂 I’m like now I see why people here where I live get upstairs of homes redone because the original floor plans is weird

I really don’t like horses IRL, they freak me out (their teeth especially, and have you seen their skulls??), but the vibes of the pack are tempting me. Maybe I’ll overcome my fear of horses in a small way, or I’ll just adopt a sh*t ton of baby sheep lmao. Either way, I’d love to do that in this build
So my sim has two horses well three now they have a baby horse. They have a cow 8 chickens a mini goat and mini sheep and they have a infant. They are always tired and dirty 😂
@MissSimReno I ended up having to hire a nanny a ranch hand and a gardener just to make it a little easier on them. She married Kyle kyleson so he just dances around the ranch 🤣
