It depends on the style of the barn and how it was set up. I don't think I would live in one that was actively being used as a barn. But one that had been completely converted? Sure, why not, I've seen some gorgeous remodels!
I love this!! I ADORE how the upstairs apartment turned out especially!! lmao we must've been looking at the same/similar inspiration pics when building which definitely doesn't surprise me! 🤣
I love this! It would be cool if you did a build in like a coastal cowgirl style. It would combine your personal style and some rustic pieces from the new pack!
I did notice that you can use horse manure for fertilizer. Just to inform you of that detail. I do like that at Chestnut you have fenced area near by your lot to do barrels or jumps. That way you can save room for whichever one they don't have next to your lot. You can select it as you are mounted on the horse and practice barreling or jumps. And my dad lives on a farm, loads of stray cats just mosey around on his property. Lot Traits you can do cat hang out so it really has a farm vibe of strays. Lol
If I’m remembering right that it was you would said in a video I watched recently that you “weren’t good at open floor plans”, I highly disagree. I loved how the open floor plan upstairs in this build turned out. Seems so cozy and simple yet fully furnished and everything :)
This is such a handsome build on the exterior. The color scheme is perfection. And the upstairs is just perfect. My favorite part is that you didn't make it all girlie. The space is designed for anyone. I get tired of all the feminine builds. One would swear that the Sims worlds are an 80/20 split female/male ratio. In my game, I make a point to have equal numbers. I pair them off like Noah's Ark. 🤣 Anyway, I really enjoyed this build. I want to have a summer cookout at that table downstairs!
I actually just came from seeing this build on Wrangler! Catching up on all my videos from the weekend. I adore some of the ways this is decorated and I am definitely thinking of switching up a few things in my current household's build with inspiration from this one!
This is such a good inspiration for my current gameplay! Also I could see someone downloading this and using it as a eloping wedding destinations/rental lot haha
Would definitely live in one! I’ve been eyeing them for years even built one one the sims, lol. Just waiting for the opportunity and the right land. 😁😁😁Great build!!
You can use horse manure in the game AND in real life, my grandpa used to fertilize his vegetables with manure (donkey manure though)! Ah, good times.. By the way I really love the colour combination you used and of course I love the build!
This is so cool! Slight correction: those areas that you keep calling the "stables" are actually called "stalls". Each stall has a horse bed. The whole building is called the stables, or what you call the barn.
I promise it takes me time too!! 🤍 Depends on the build, but they can take 4-6 hours from start to finish! Don't worry about how long it takes, just enjoy the process as much as you can.
@@MissSimReno it's not that I don't want a house but converting an older building into something new again sounds more fun yes it will be a lot of work but in the end it'll be worth it I read an article where someone bought a 700 year old church in the Netherlands and they transformed the whole church into one big giant bookstore
VIDEO QUESTION: Would you live in a Barndominium? I would 🐴🐴
Yes I would. My husband would not 😂

Without horses, yes.
YES

I absolutely love the dark wood/honey wood contrast. It is such a warm and beautiful palette.

Literally all the barns I've seen on Pinterest and Google Images are the same 😂 Thanks so much, Chrissie!! 🤍

This is so cool! Probably a bit stinky in real life (I love horses but not their poop) but super cozy in game!
Oh yeah. Real life this would be so smelly 😂😂😂😂
Would definitely live in one! I’ve been eyeing them for years even built one one the sims, lol. Just waiting for the opportunity and the right land. 😁😁😁Great build!!
