What are YOUR favorite Dragon Quest Spinoffs?
Dragon Quest Monsters 2 Joker was and still is one of my favorite games of all time! I spent so so many hours exploring that world, discovering all the creatures, and building such a cool team. At the time I hadn't found anything close to how cool that game was
I always wanted to play the Yangus spin-off
DQT was so much fun to watch you play. I’m jealous I don’t know more so I could play and appreciate It myself!
I picked up Dragon Quest Treasures the other day, actually looking forward to playing it in due time. Awesome list by the way, dude!

I was so addicted to Rocket Slime when it came out. I still think about that game to this day.
It was so much fun and had so many different gameplay elements! I really want to check out the sequel on the 3DS at some point

Dangg another awesome video my friend thank you. I gotta try the DQ VR arcade one day it sounds so immersive the way u describe it, and like u Dragon Quest games are my all time fave also so from one die hard DQ fan to another I really enjoyed this video n appreciate it. One last thing I wanna mention is I dont believe any other music beats Dragon Quest music I just love all DQ music and I can never get enough of it. Alrighty bud thanks again for this vid!

A pc gamer here. But dqb2, you can put thousands of hours into building your hearts content. And dqh2, yes a dynasty warriors type game, but can explore and kill hard bosses.
Yeah Builders 2 was REALLY well done! I’m not a “Minecraft” enjoyer, but my friends who are; have spent hours and hours building incredible towns and castles!
DQH2 is just so much more than a Dynasty Warriors game, really feels like an open world ARPG with some large scale battles tossed in there
I hope it’s possible for Dragon Quest VR to be made public in some way. I’d just really love to play a VR DQ so badly 😭
Yeah, it would be awesome if they brought it to steam or even just VR Arcades outside of Japan

Were you playing the DQM remakes on emulator or something else??
So the emulator seems to take FOREVER to load, but I have a hacked 3DS that I was able to load the patched roms onto
I wanted to play DQ heroes 2 but unlike Hyrule Warriors there was no split screen.
Definitely plan on buying DQM3 at the end of the year though
Yeah, that’s mainly because it doesn’t really play like a Warriors game. It’s more of an open world ARPG with a story. The only parts that are co-op are certain larger battles as well as the online bonus dungeons
The combat is still Warriors-style, but the game itself is a story driven ARPG with a more open world approach
No idea how Monsters Joker isn’t number 1
I wasn’t really a big fan of the Joker games tbh. The only one I was able to actually get all the way through was the first Joker game
My favorite DQ spin off is Final Fantasy 1!

Builders 2 was delightful because it turned a big baddie into a boyfriend. Also everything else. Of course. But mostly that.

@@tajinbuu3473 you can also use Citra, but it’s got some nasty load times with certain games
“Gone are the randomly generated dungeons of the first game”. Yea that’s one of the big issues with your number 3 choice bro. Without randomly generated dungeons the game is incredibly stale after the ending. The keys all have the same map basically. It’s a huge disappointment and everyone in the community agrees. Another example of a half assed remake. Pretty. But no soul.
