This is my second-favourite social deduction game, after Blood on the Clocktower. So much fun! Plus you get to discuss how your mate somehow murdered your other mate, using only a floppy disk and a sonnet.
That's easy. Knowing they were a big Shakespeare fan, you sent them a copy of his Sonnets (on floppy disc - you're old school) that were all subtle misquotes. This so enraged the victim, they had a fatal heart attack. Happens all the time!
@@johnpotts8308 When it happened to us (and it genuinely did), we justified it by saying that he rammed a floppy disk down the victim's throat whilst reading them bad poetry.
@@edgecrusher018 Blood on the Clocktower? Yeah, it's about as complicated as a social deduction game can get. Once you understand it though, it's super satisfying to play/run.
I just wanna give big kudos to the editors for always putting the extra effort to show on screen with the most clarity possible every card, point, board position, status, etc... after finding this channel more than a year ago i tried to find some more of this style and i just couldnt keep watching, because it was hard to follow what was going on, most of the channels ive found only have a camera on top showing the board at best. One of my favorite games that i would love to see on the channel is either arkham or eldritch horror, but i understand those games are extremely hard to win with more than 2 players. I would love to see more deckbuilding stuff tho!
I’m really enjoying this month of revisiting some of your favorite games. I hope you continue replaying classics every now and then in the future as well.
I think where Rosie's mad second game play came from is she's prioritising creating a coherent narrative for the murder, rather than the elimination process of sorting the clues themselves. I love her not only ignoring the blood clues, but then doubling down by also ignoring money as a clue for motive. I also love how much the psychology of the clue giver influences the direction of the game. In the second game I got a very clear picture of someone turning off someone's life support, which would've led me to totally different clues to the ones Terri gave. I imagine that could become quite an important part of discussions if you play regularly with the same group.
You know, I think they made a mistake in not considering the Sully blood release angle in the second game tbh, they probably should have discussed it more
@@aurora5481 Then why is it, that the German fits better to the images and makes more sense in the context? "Blood Release" is nonsense as a cause of death, while "Blood Loss" is a reasonable cause of death. It should also be "Bodily Fluids" not "Body Fluids" and "Sudden Incident" doesn't fit either - the German term is equivalent to "Notable Occurrence/Event", which fits the Terms a hundred times better. So if the original language isn't German, then the original sucks and the German translators did a terrific job.
