As with Untitled Instrumental 1 (I Misses You), the track's origins are disputed. The track was reportedly recorded at the Meat is Murder final mixdown sessions (Strangeways sessions by some accounts) before Morrissey arrived at the studio. In The Smiths: Songs That Saved Your Life, author Simon Goddard notes that the track was recorded at Streatham with I Misses You.

How did Morrissey get a songwriting credit on this? He was quick enough to try and cut Andy and Mike out of songwriting credits and he's not even doing anything on this?
@@AmericaAriella Probably a personal agreement. Only writers get the real money. If a band wants to do things "evenly" they just put everyone as having credits. I've seen a lot of drummers get burned over lack of SW credits.
It´s a mystic question, I think Morrissey felt the only owner of The Smiths, that´s real, and very sad, ´cause all this songs from Smiths were created by the four members. In my opinion.
@@damianfernandezruiz4804 Yes. The times and the music industry caused things to happen a certain way. My music friends always told me the true musicians are the ones you see playing all over. Banging on logs, pipes, anything to make sounds. When you get to heaven you'll see them playing down by the river. Not a care in the world. It's how they communicate. The painters and sculptors are the ones who freak ME out lol.
The base line of Andy is definitely KILLER!!
Only slightly... 😉

Remember, good artists borrow, but great artists steal.
