Haven’t listened to this one in years. & as is usually the case with any song from their catalogue bearing Troy Tate’s name, I think this rendition is my favorite.
@@cbappa2 There is a bootleg vinyl called "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" It was originally going to be the debut album but was scrapped its all Troy Tate produced and this version is on there
Yah know, I do not eVen know what to do with Myself anyMORR, so I guess You will get to LOVE LOVE LOVE what You get with Me because I Luff Yah eVen MORR My Brightly Matte Gnikers...
All'ah, My goodness, I call you for help aNd I hear the pitter patter of your feet QUIckly running toward Me...Thank Yah Thank Yah, 😊 🙏 😊 🙏 😊 🙏 😊 Thank V'ry Muuuch
i dont think its possible for the smiths to have a bad song... the guitar and the weeping vocals on this one are quite beautiful... just a bit of a slower and more contemplative song
@@merlec 'Golden Lights' & 'Boy for my Birthday' were terrible. 'Shakepeare's Sister' was bad. 'Work is a four letter word' was passable. Pretty much everything else is brilliant.
@@ominous7271 lol honestly out of everything you just mentioned ‘work is a four letter word’ is my least favourite but yeah some songs are better than others!
I don't understand why this song isn't much more appreciated and why Morrissey never does it live.
my favorite smiths song
Probably because it makes the listener want to kill himself?!? 😅
The reason is because, well, this song is a ghost…

There’s got to be a reason Morrissey is a very interesting man and I would love to know the story behind why he wouldn’t sing this
One of my favourite Smiths songs.
Congratulations for the good taste 🤘
Love this song. Morrissey’s vocals are so beautifully haunting 😊
Possibly my favourite Smiths song from the 12" singles. Should have received more airplay and recognition. A truly beautiful masterpiece.
First time hearing this track. Instant love.

i believe that the audio for this is from a live show infact, just search "The Smiths - Wonderful Woman" and youll find it
@@serenitatis2191 definitely not the audio from the Hacienda performance video
@@cbappa2 the hacienda performances use different lyrics

They're not that rare, had them for years.
Take the ‘wonderful woman’ away and that pic would make an awesome tshirt
I can be done, it shall be done 😉
The actress britânica Blond movies 60s . That single i Miss you ! And the boy in Thorn in the side
I’d keep the “wonderful woman”.

Troy never received a penny in payment for his work with The Smiths.
Ohhh answer me!
I prefered this to the This Charming Man A-side
