Haha. Yeah, especially when it seems to know exactly when to spray when a face comes too near to it.

@@shesosweet2781 perhaps you can consider using solid air fresheners of defusers. These sprayers can be scary if used in quiet places.

@@fuzzy34r I use a mixture of wall plugins and the automatic spray one. The single automatic spray I have is in an area that I can't put a plug in. Hope it doesn't scare me to death 🤣🤣🤣.
FYI: Using GLADE refill cans in an AIRWICK auto sprayer will only work if you line the bottom of the can receptacle with some material to push the can flush up against the bottom of the top part of the sprayer. If it's not flush, the spray nozzle will not depress sufficiently, resulting in a weak spray or no spray at.

I am using Glade canisters on my Airwick automatic sprayer and they work just fine.
The glade won't work in the automatic air wick spray things. I've tried. Been fighting with it for 30 minutes.
Latest AirWick freshmatics don't use the 2 black line system. They accept everything. I have one in my living room and works just fine. However, in my bedroom I have an older AirWick freshmatic max, which needs the official AirWick cans

There is a problem with these sprayers. Because they are plastic and not all of the spray goes "out" of the sprayer, there are times that the drippage causes a "gunk" build-up on the gears and often they end up not working after months of operation. I'm going to, this time, clean them monthly somehow...maybe see how WD-40 works against spray buildup as i assume a water-based cleaning would probably destroy the inner workings.
Thanks for highlighting. Could it be because the sprayer head is faulty? The sprayer head should direct most, if not all the spray away from the gears since it is pointing outwards. So far, I have used mine for more than half a year now and its functioning great!

Hi! I didn’t mention anything about it because there is no need to get rid of the bands on the sprayer head in order to use it in the glade sprayer. It just works! 😁

I’ve only tried the glade auto sprayer. Other branded spray cans are very similar, with small variations in height and shape, but in general, they should work.
Can you still press the manual spray button if the switch is set to off i.e. just use it manually instead of on the timer?
No. It will not work at all when set to off.
How do I open my Air wick I don't know to open it I tried everything but it didn't work
I’m not sure about the air wick. But the glade can be opened by pressing the button on top of it

Well.. That is how Air Wick auto sprayers identify Air Wick branded fragrances.
You can transfer the nozzle with the black lines to the other can and it will work. Or you can paint lines with a marker. Also, I found a video that shows how to trick the sensor once and for all by connecting two contacts.

Problema que os aromas que tem nas embalagens grandes nem se comparam as embalagens pequenas, sabe por que? Só para começar o mais usado de todos é o de lavanda que agora é flores de lavanda que tem cheiro de madeira podre é horrível, comprei um e tentei usar, me arrependi,

Se você consumidor for ter essa genial ideia de adquirir um aparelho eletrônico deste pensado que vai sair cheirinhos bons, esquece não vai sair.
Quer uma dica boa, compre aqueles aparelhos que vai na tomada e dentro dele vai essência, dai sim você vai acertar.

My only gripe is how do you know when to refill? And how do you know when the battery 🪫 dies?? That’s a huge turn off imo.

Unfortunately, it is a spray can and that sound is inevitable. If it bothers you that much, consider getting a diffuser style air freshener; they work just as well too!
I've bought 3 refill can and had to throw them away because everytime I try to take the cap off, the nozzle breaks off. Poor design to open!
