    A key truth stated there:
    "You wouldn't want one much heavier, would you?"

    • @lightweightadv
      @lightweightadv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha absolutely, even a ‘light bike’ can feel very heavy!

    Lol loved the 20second 'dating profile' of you both at the start of the video 🤣😂Both camera work (framing and editing) and matching the music are superb, congrats 👍

    When a riding buddy falls, I ALWAYS help them lift the bike up. That is rule we use when riding in a group. No one lifts their bike by themselves.

      Hey MT ten, thanks for the comment, yeah we’re the same, normally we would both get involved, but Marc wanted to practice his solo lifting technique this time out. We think it’s a good skill to master for solo riding, just in case you need it 👍

      @@lightweightadv It it a good practice that other viewers might want to incorporate into their group rides.

    A great reminder of why i bought the £00rally. So easy to be seduced by power and bigger bikes. Cheers Guys.

    I think your videography skills have come on a lot but I still struggle to see the point in your videos sometimes. I wonder if you’re trying too hard to tell a story, but there’s seldom a beginning a middle and an end in your vids for some reason. They just feel to me like a bunch of clips, some artistic, some trying to be funny, some natural and some staged, just mashed together in the hope of making something special. I’m not saying I could do any better because I definitely couldn’t but just giving you some honest critique. Ps love what you do and what you’re about with the show, and the podcast etc.

      Hey John, thanks for the comment we will always take constructive feedback👍
      Yeah it is definitely a journey that we are on and we are still very much learning. We do try to make sure we are as honest as we can be in the videos, we tried to do acting to recreate something that happened but we just aren’t any good at it and it didn’t feel authentic so we quickly stopped that 😂
      Glad you like the other stuff, we will get there eventually….maybe 🤞
      Ride safe 😎

      Is there anything that you would particularly like to see from the videos?
      I know everyone is different in what they are after, some just want entertainment whereas others want education etc.

      @@lightweightadv I guess this might sound like a really evasive response but the content I would like to see is the stuff you enjoy doing. By which I mean, activities, interviews, conversations etc which you would want to do regardless of whether you happened to be filming them for TH-cam. If you find yourselves wracking your brains to think of interesting things to make films about then I would say the tail is wagging the dog. Just go out and do stupid, funny, adventurous or even everyday mundane stuff and don’t worry too much about content quality, or finding a story in it. I reckon your day should be 80% the activity and 20% filming! I would bet that your numbers are probably the opposite way round are the moment and the net result is beautifully shot and cinematic videos which feel a bit hollow somehow.
      Specifically I would like to see you guys push yourself outside your comfort zone more. I’ve never seen you flare up at one another on camera, or have a near miss, and I bet these things take place and would be eminently watchable. It feels a bit sanitised sometimes. Go enter a LDT. Do a top gear style race where one takes the series landy, and the other rides.

      I have to say I feel the same . The channel has some great how to videos that have helped me and many a crf rider out ....I have worked in a bike shop that does TH-cam and it's tough thinking of new content and it coming across natural . I enjoy watching the likes of Mr p and marsh Mx where ya basicall go along for the rides and the giggles etc . Don't stop what ya doing lads just maybe don't concentrate so much on fancy footage and show us ya simply out n about riding ya bikes have a good time .

    • @johnfletcher9907
      @johnfletcher9907 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@snox7320 riding with mr p is a great example of somebody whose videos are a byproduct of him going out riding, and not riding as a means to make a video. He’s not a successful channel by any means but still very watchable and relatable.
      Ps the how to videos I like and the one about upgrading a clutch was a huge help when I followed it to do mine. However I have found the how to videos about riding a bit cringey if I’m honest as there guidance about body position and I’m not sure it was really that correct. Sort of felt like an amateur who isn’t really an authority on a subject, talk about it as though he was an expert. A bit painful really, so I think the point there is only teach what you are really well versed in.
