  • Peddars Way - Adventure Bike Ride though glorious Norfolk countryside
I take the mighty Triumph Tiger 800 XCA on a off-road adventure, perfect terrain for the 'big bike'.
We start the day with a quick trip to Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds (great bike shop and cafe) and then move on to the Peddars Way Trail (Trail section starts at 8:30).
A very nice route through Norfolk starting at Brettenham near Thetford and ending at Holme next the Sea. I think for a confident rider you could complete this in a light luggage mode, it might be a bit tight in a couple of place with full metal panniers, but it is certainly doable.
This is a useful planning document.

It's a nice ride - just be careful in those ruts! Worth the effort tho for an Ice cream at Hunstanton.

I’ve walked the Peddars way several times and I’m always a bit envious when I see you guys ride past. Unfortunately I don’t have my bike licence although I’d be happy to bimble along on a 50 if there was off road bike suitable.

Good vid , def had the weather for it 😀 .... looks easygoing and as a complete novice def makes me want to get my tyres dirty . All I could think while watching was ‘ there would be a great place for an ice cream’ 🤣 ... showing off your ‘neck of the woods ‘really well.

Cheers Shaun, it was a bit rammed in Hunstanton when I got there so just went to the pub for some grub and a shandy - not too bad an end to the day!

I think in this I have the Dunlop Trailmax Missions on, but I wouldn't record them, well they are ok as long as it's dry, if you're out and it rains they are terrible, wet grass or and mud and they are useless.

@@twowheeledadventuresuk2739 I have them on currently, I think they’re ok for the type of tyre they are. Have you tried Anakee Wilds? If so, how do they compare?
      Thanks

@@mckillopadam no, I’m on Motoz Rallz on my T7 and love them. My main focus is off-road so always go a bit more aggressive than the wilds

Disgraceful, these tracks are for walkers and horses, that is what they have been used by for hundreds of years. No place for internal combustion engines

Well they are legal routes to use for motorised vehicles and as 93 % of the public access network is solely open to pedestrians moaning that vehicles use this little bit strikes me as utterly selfish.

I really enjoyed that mate. And it is something I want to do in the summer. But try as I might I could not follow all of your fabulous root whilst looking at google maps. I got the start, lost you at Watton. Found the villages but could not work out how you connected them. I would love to do the exact same trip. Do you have a way to make the whole journey available and easy to follow for this old chap? Many thanks.
