    For almost 3 months i thought I either had sibo or parasites in me... its the 5th month now I believe my ibs came due to the fact that I'm quite sensitive to my surroundings plus constant travelling meaning ill eating habits plus chronic stress got me ibs c... for months I wondered why I don't have bloating upon eating fodmap foods and finally found out how stress interfered with my Enteric nervous system and this truly was an eye opener! It truly helped me understand my body more and so far feeling quite great since I added meditation and yoga to my routine!

    Hi Amanda.... question about probiotics...I was told by the PureTheraPro rep. to suspend taking their Saccarmyces Boulardi after 2 months of taking it along with the earth based Enviromedica Terra Flora...I am looking for a good lacto bacillus Bifada strain to take and plan to get back on the Boulardi strain after a 2 month break...I am going to try a chiropractic spinal decompression treatment to see if chronic structural/neurological issues in Sacrum/Lumbar can be a culprit causing digestive issues (IBS/SIBO) ?....I recovered from my hernia repair surgery in Late March... so thank you for your support !

      I would advise you to listen to the feedback from your body rather than a company's protocol advice...notice how you feel when you add or subtract things to get clarity on whether they help or hurt, and continue to do more of what helps! I hope your chiropractic adjustment helps, I definitely think that problems in that area of the body can be a contributor to those symptoms. Thanks for watching!

    I have been diagnosed SIBO a few months ago on the basis of H2 breathe test with glucose, and also RUT test for H pylory came positive last month. On colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy, the finding is internal haemarhoid in anal canal and few gastric erosions in stomach body. I, being a chronic patient of IBS-C for last 35 years, want the remedy please coz the symptoms are very scary now. Thanks &Regards

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Ashok, what does your doctor say? From my perspective, i would think you would want to address the h pylori first, as that is compromising your digestion from the top down, and the liekly cause of the erosion in your stomach...I can't legally suggest specific remedies unless you are a client.

      @@ConfluenceNutrition is this common for H. Poly to lead to SiBO and or IBD?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@presidentiallsuite I don't know that there's any data to support that theory, but I do think that H pylori infection can lead to downstream problems in the gut, including SIBO. IBD has many potential causes, and is likely due to multiple factors, including genetics, lifestyle, and triggering events. There has been some evidence that certain types of parasitic infections could trigger IBD. I don't remember where I read that study, but it showed patients with a particular worm (?) going into remission from IBD when treated for said worm. But not every IBD patient will have an underlying infection that can be treated.
      The most common cause of SIBO is a previous case of food poisoning, but other kinds of infections could lead to it too.

    I did a coffee enema with all the right things and did a high enema and lots of coffee water took a long time to come out and I saw blood on the paper for one day as of now. Did I scratch myself not feeling it? Any one can give me an idea of what happened?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shirley, it's possible you scratched yourself, or maybe aggravated a hemorrhoid? And sometimes enemas can irritate the sensitive skin down there. If it continues, do go visit your doctor, but it should return to normal...

    • @Warwipf

      Don't do coffee enemas. They are dangerous and there is no evidence that they actually do anything beneficial.

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Partha, I'm unsure if you're asking a question or just making a comment? If you're asking how to confirm IBS or SIBO, running a SIBO test helps you know if SIBO is involved. You can also run the IBS SMart test. If positive, you know your problem is IBS and not IBD or other digestive diseases. It's primarily for diarrhea type IBS. I hope that helps.

    What about if you have h pylori and sibo can you still take HCl ?

    • @ConfluenceNutrition
      @ConfluenceNutrition  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For H pylori, no you should not use HCL until the infection is cleared. For SIBO, new research from Dr. Pimentel suggests that using betaine HCL with hydrogen SIBO makes it worse, so also no. Methane SIBO is often inter-related with hydrogen SIBO (hydrogen often underlies methane SIBO), so also no :) Great question, and thanks for watching!
