- REACTION: Ford Guy Watches The Tesla Cybertruck Unveiling With Thoughts!
This week Tesla unveiled their new electric truck, the Tesla Cybertruck! Here is my reaction to the unveiling video and some thoughts on the vehicle as Elon Musk is showing it off.
Highlights of the video include the Cybertruck unveil, the cracked glass windows, the insane 0-60 time of the extended range model, and more!
What are your thoughts on the Cybertruck? Is it something you can see yourself driving? Or is it going to be a giant bust??
When I first saw it I was like WTF, then it started to grow on me. Now I think it is a brilliant design. Stands out from the crowd, and when people see it on the streets, they will know it's a Tesla.

Sorry I haven’t responded! My thoughts initially was this might be a failure because it looks like an El Camino. Then about 2 minutes into the presentation I was like, “oh, it’s a Mars rover, but where’s the bed?” I it looked smaller than it was. The 2.9 seconds slide had me smiling, the 39k price tag had me at my feet, then when they showed the bed opening at the very end I was absolutely sold. I’ve been looking intensely at the Model Y but have since shifted my sights to the Cybertruck. The thing I am worried about is the dashboard and the interior in general, it looks so plain and the dash being made of paper, it all almost looking like a small cargo truck with the flat noses you can see the entire road. Other than that, a bulletproof personal tank that can go 4.5 seconds 0-60 and drive itself and take and do anything with is an absolute win to me.
Mike Naus thank you for your reaction! I’ve subscribed and I can’t wait for you to react to the rest of Elon’s presentations. I think the next one is the Battery presentation very early next year. That presentation might blow our socks off with a million mile battery (a lifetime car!). Also Tesla will be rolling out full self driving win the next month(s). Please react to those too!!

Mike Naus this presentation blew my mind on self driving. Its fairly recent. The presentation starts at 1:09:00. You will be very surprised how close we are to full self driving! Pleeease react

Nice!! The matte black is going to be a head turner! I'm interested to see what Ford has coming, they announced they will showcase their new F-150, hybrid and full electric next year. Not sure when they will be available, but I'm hoping that they will have something completely insane like a 600+ range vehicle.
