Hi, this is Luis from Argentina. This is the game we play at home with my frinds here in a small beach town. We started last winter cause offseason is boring and it just grabbed us like no other FG did. We played some other stuff like the first GBFVS but Samsho is just different. We are grown up balding dudes with kids and limited time and FG expertise yet this game managed to win my group like none other did before and i wish I coulod share the sentiment of finally having a regular group to play a game consistently and discussing it or trying to get better at it. We probably suck, never played anyone competent and we got no way here to test our level but we enjoy it so much.

The implementation of the Rollback Netcode was a much needed feature introduced to the game. Now, if only they could also bring crossplay, unifying *ALL* the player pools distributed among different platforms in a single pool... I would see a revival of this game.
I always felt that ArcSys' Baiken fitted Samurai Showdown more than she does her origins in Guilty Gear- aesthetics and her gameplay, she just always felt that she belonged in Samurai and glad ArcSys agreed to SNK including her as a special guest
@antonivi8968 I wouldn't say it fits her more than Mirror of The World just by virtue of Mirror having vocals. Mirror is literally a song about her and her journey. Her Samsho theme is great and is great for her too, don't get me wrong. Mirror is just able to convey more in an unambiguous fashion.
As an SSIV player, this game is the closest thing we've had so far to a genuine sequel to that game. It's so dope. Really, really glad the rollback is decent!
@@henryhenjum6030 sure you die in two hits potentially, but it's not like it is a game that is "too random" so you need a ft3 to decide. It is slow and deliberate, very footsies and neutral based, so I don't know if it is needed.

If ever there is a game that looks fine to do ft2 in, it is samsho. We can do it in Tekken and SF6 (tho tns has SF6 as ft3 all the way, and twt does ft3 for all matches after winners final and cpt does top 8 ft3). Being a game that can do Ft2 is a sign of elegance, and confidence in it's core gameplay. Ft3 is only for the games where you can win 2 times and we still need to play more to find out, because it could have been luck.
Are you still stuck listening to P2's theme instead of being able to choose the soundtrack you want to listen to? Major gripe with the game made no sense.

Baiken, owned by Cygames and their developer Arc System Works appearing in SNK's Samurai Showdown is much more a guest character or like SNK's Mai Shiranui appearing in Dead or Alive 5 and 6 by Tecmo

Even her theme in SamSho fits her more than the Strive one (you never get to hear it cause of the slow start, which they probably fixed by now).
