    Great vid and great customer service. I own 3 different osprey packs of various sizes and I love them all. Fortunately, I have never had to test their "all mighty guarantee" but its nice to know that they stand behind it.

    How did the Medium fit, Vlad?

    • @ReviewOutdoorGear
      @ReviewOutdoorGear  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Matthew Risley The medium actually fit me really well! I extended the shoulder harness height to the highest position, and fit me just right. I'm about 5'9" with a torso measurement of about 19".

    Had atmos ag 65 for a short time - switched to gregory baltoro. Didn't like atmos' color (grey was more like dirty green)? side pockets and suspension felt pretty fragile. Even old aether felt better. but that's for me. osprey's guarantee is awesome though.

    I just bought the one you. Bought and ordered a large. How tall are you and your torso. I'm 6 1 but my torso is 23 inches. Should I have ordered a medium? Thanks! Love your vids.

      @ReviewOutdoorGear  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +scott O'brien my torso is about 19 inches. Large should be a good fit for 23 in torso. Thanks! - Vlad

    What happens if I don't have the mighty warranty?am I screwed?

    • @ReviewOutdoorGear
      @ReviewOutdoorGear  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Tonahuac Theonewhocarriesthelight If you have any osprey product (excluding their hydration reservoirs - they have a different policy for those) you automatically have the guarantee. All you need is just an Osprey pack. They don't require proof of purchase or that you be the original owner.

    My Atmos is just three years old and only sixty miles. It has developed a loud and distracting squeaking sound. According to the New Zealand Osprey distributors this is not a fault. “Almighty Guarantee” not applicable over here, although there was a big label advertising the guarantee. Some clever features on these packs, but walking hour upon hour on what sounds like creaking floorboards is enough for me to look elsewhere for my next pack.

  • @gonnabeok

    Review on the AG coming soon?

  • @MSato123
    @MSato123 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That Al'mighty Guarantee only works if you are in America. It doesn't guarantee if you are in UK. Osprey should make that clear to us buying osprey in uk.

    • @ReviewOutdoorGear
      @ReviewOutdoorGear  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +M Sato , really? Didn't know that.

    • @snowymatrix
      @snowymatrix 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a few Osprey packs and being from UK I went to Osprey Europe website and checked if The All Mighty Guarantee applies and it does. In the years I have been using Osprey the only damage to my packs has been made by a mouse when I left my pack on the floor with a oat bar inside. The bloody mouse chewed through the pack and eat half the bar! I don't think that's covered by the guarantee though! lol

    • @ZeroAgenda
      @ZeroAgenda 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      snowy matrix animal damage is covered by the all mighty guarantee. Any damage at all is covered. Osprey is the best.

    Yeah I own a aether 70 , that is almost two years old. This thing has snapped both draw straps on the front for the brain, and I have developed a hole in the mesh on the front of the bag. Now you go to their site and wanna perform the list,down the list is a number behind a tag that says made in Vietnam, well low and behold, the number is ilegible. I suppose that would be a loophole for me to get this thing back in 6 to 8 weeks with the excuse, man you didn't properly fill out the paperwork. Oh well got my eye set on a fjell raven anyway. Them look bullet proof.

    Is that a switchblade ? I don't like to see them in videos. They are illegal in a lot of countries.

    • @matthewrisley9070
      @matthewrisley9070 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +ReadandWite It is not a switchblade. It's probably just an assisted-opened knife. I have a few. Very handy tool. Totally legal within most -if not all- states in the USA.

    • @ReviewOutdoorGear
      @ReviewOutdoorGear  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +ReadandWite That is not a switchblade. It is an assisted blade like Mathew Rinsley said. And yes, they are allowed almost everywhere. Sorry it concerns you.

    • @ReadandWite
      @ReadandWite 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ReviewOutdoorGear And the difference is ....???? Only wording to get around the restrictions on autoblades within the US. However UK Law states
      UK law states:
      "(a) any knife which has a blade which opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the knife, sometimes known as a "flick knife" or "flick gun"; or
      (b) any knife which has a blade which is released from the handle or sheath thereof by the force of gravity or the application of centrifugal force and which, when released, is locked in place by means of a button, spring, lever, or other device, sometimes known as a "gravity knife",
      shall be guilty of an offence..."
      The Restriction of Offensive Weapons Act 1959
      I know you are more gun and knife mad in the US but I still see no reason for carrying an AO when a) in most cases a Swiss Army knife does the job or b) in your video a simple letter opener or scissors would have adequately completed the task.
      Children are awfully impressed by older children and adults and could harm themselves due to a lack of comprehension of the dangers.
      Thanks for your reply.

      ReadandWite holy cow, are you paranoid. A knife is a TOOL. I use my knives, yes plural, as TOOLS. I don't worry about "impressionable" snowflakes being negatively affected. It's a TOOL. Tools are useful. I also teach people how to properly use them. Sheesh!
