Not just a short wheel base, but a high center of gravity and wide track. It amazing it gets any appreciable power to the ground. Thats all driver's skill.

The standard weight (nonBrabus) is 790 ... 810kg depending on the engine (599cc / 698cc / 799cc). The 1.8 engine with gearbox brings extra weight, subframe for the new engine_box (plus weight), the body is self-supporting and must be strongly reinforced to support 500HP (plus weight), the wheels are much heavier than the original ones (plus weight ) ... so the masses are close - on Smart it was hard and on Audi it was taken.
