First flight on RAW 580 after a year-long break in 42°C (107°F)

Finally, after a year of a break, my RAW 580 was re-assembled and I was ready to fly it. Even mid-day on literally burning sun and heat!
Nothing fancy, I was a little bit nervous. Also, such heat does not make reflexes and mind sharper.
At the end of the session, it was still in one piece, that's a win I'd say 😄

Fantastic flight after such a long break!! I hope from now you can fly regulary again! You can feel the soaring heat even just by watching your video! Breathtaking spot to fly but the landings with a 580 in such uneven terain with so many stones and plants must be nerve wracking! Eespecially after this long break!! Great!!

Yes! You've got it right! I even had to cover my feet with a towel because they were burning 😄
Yeah, the landing was not easy at all, but 580 is very docile and stable, so it was manageable overall. Thank you 😊

@@RCCopterLove Thank you! I don't have a car now, so it'd be difficult with my 580. But I fly my M2 near home every day, so I get at least some real practice!

@@lev_on_heli Thats very true! For a 580 you must have a car to transport it. Thats also why I love my M2's so much. To ride to a field too far away from my home to walk, I put the M2 foambox, tha transmitter and batteries into a big trecking backpack and ride with my mountainbike!! All the very best for you!!

@@RCCopterLove I do exactly the same with a backpack! Although I had to buy another case for my TX, a more compact one, now it all fits nicely. Probably, I can reach better fields by bike, I need to explore I guess 😄Thank you, best wishes for you too!
