I wish real life Land Rover would introduce a farm and field series of vehicles more in line with their original creations along side the more luxurious offerings they have now.
You'd be surprised how rugged the new 90 can be.
No air suspension, no carpets, only thing you're stuck with is the auto gearbox.
it happend because of tata buying them and they did the same with their old offerings ..they had a safari 4x4 now the moden safari is 2wd lol ..and folks buy them ..stupid average consumers ..they dont make cars for enthusiasts anymore .... our own mahindra makes better 4x4 with cheper price
I wish there was an escort mission where you would have to survey a convoy of trucks and make sure they make it from A to B and help out when one gets stuck or something, but that’ll probably be very annoying as the ai might be barely sentient.
That would be cool. But yeah I'd love to see how the AI works...
I think a multyplayer mission lile taht would be much better but idk how long of a convoy are you thinking?

Don't get me wrong here because I do think that the TUZ 420 Tatarin is borderline OP but I would love to see more military style scouts. Modern or old there is some great one to pick from out there. I would love to see something like the Fennek or a M1127 in the game that was actually more useful than just to scout with. Let them be able to have a trailer and give them bigger resupply and fuel points so they can be used more than just to scout the map once and then use them as dust collectors. I know the TUZ and the M1127 is very similar I just really like to look of the M1127 more. =)
I really LOVE the Range Rover pack. Especially as they are not overpowered and I have the feeling of real exploration when using them. My favourite scouts for a while now.

picked these up same time I got the Don map, used them again in Tennessee, pretty happy with their performance. yes, a little more ground clearance would be nice but they have a few good qualities. I found them to be more stable (less tippy) than most of the other scouts, they don't seem to take as much damage, and they both have plenty of power (except with trailers of course). are they worth the price? meh... but I bought the Apache too, so...
Tbf, I really loved the apache (didnt bring full rack),l it was a nice smoll, yet surprisingly 6x6 truck. was nice to fetch watchtowers with, with a reasonable speed. this changed now, now where we have another 6x6 scout :o
I liked the Apache, used it a lot in Wisconsin but not much since. lack of trailer ability (same as with the Rezvani) is really my only complaint
Being a Brit, I of course bought the pack. My opinion is they are 'fine'. They could be better but they aren't bad. A few little mod tweaks here and there, e.g. slightly bigger wheels for the 110, and they are great on most maps that don't completely destroy smaller scouts. If you're a fan of Land Rovers you've probably already got it, but if you're not sure, wait to see if they go on sale in a few months (Steam winter sale, etc.).
This game just keeps delivering.
While writing the ranked maps video I've come to realise just how epic SnowRunner really is.
In a game where the main objective is to deliver cargo, the devs keep "blessing" us with useless scouts. Honestly any modded scout is far more useful and versatile than the vanilla ones. And considering how many modders are obsessed with making them, there's no lack of choice. I would much rather buy a truck dlc (if it was any good) than waste money on a scout. Do yourself a favor, get Iceberg's mod (available on consoles too) and use the money to get a cup of coffee or tea instead ;)
I just don’t really like using mods in the vanilla game as it feels too easy and almost as if I’m cheating, I do like to play on modded maps though
@@sugarflame1833 consider using mods from mod authors that make them close to vanilla. I highly recommend Iceberg's mods as well as Rang3r and Yansors. The level of detail and quality in their mods surpasses even some vanilla vehicles. They're as close to vanilla as it gets without being too OP. You can still easy get stuck with them like you would with a vanilla vehicle. Besides, most mods have OP and Vanilla engine/tire options. Simply don't use OP options to make your life as miserable as it'd be with vanilla trucks/scouts, lol))
@@hodsmat lol thanks for the recommendations, I will check them out. Life is definitely tough with vanilla vehicles but I might start a hardcore save with mods
Honestly I would have loved to have seen a Land Rover Series I or II or III included instead of the new Defender 110X, but I guess that’s a job for modders
Series I and II are great (also driven the latter), would be cool to see them also. Although should you not be recommending the Cybertruck given your name...

The Land Rover that I would have included first would be the 101 with the option of the powered trailer. That would be a most excellent addition.

When I need a scout are use that 10 wheeled truck That’s really close to the ground but carries the Crane and two spots for cardio
Good plan, I often scout in the bigger trucks!
I daily an 87' defender t90. They may be one of the worst driving vehicle I've ever own. But that's what makes them incredibly fun and satisfying to drive imo 😂
Ps. If you want a good defender, that you can actually use and it lore friendly. The Offender 110 mod is great 👍
Oh cool, I love the old Defenders. Even the new ones before the end actually. Something appealing about them despite the awful drive as you said! Will check out the mod, cheers.
@@ATribeCalledCars for me it is the simplicity of it. Mine still has its original Carb'ed Rover V8, close to 280,00 miles on it and I can strip the entire car with the small tool kit I carry in the back. Maintenance on older stuff is high but reliability is second to none. Mine lived on a farm for it's first 30 years, farmer weather sealed it every year and used it every day. I got it in 2017 straight off the farm, needed a new rear axel but since then I've not put a penny in other maintenence. And I've done 70k in 6 years for work as a carpenter.
Very underwhelmed by SR version of the defender. But the Defender 110 mod (not Offender I read the font wrong in game) is great it's a little OP with the 6-speed and it's tire selection. Having said that it does actually make it, with the addition of a offroad trailer, a viable option as a delivery vehicle to really difficult to get places on the harder tighter maps. Stick to the snowrunner box and I think you'll really like it.
Im currently doing Taymyr, which I only went to, to obtains the Tayga, using only scouts. The defender mod is the main scout I use because while yes it's the best all round scout, there are other scouts that do specific things better, recovering/repairing vehicles, no crane add on etc. It's also not that much better than other scouts in a way it breaks the lore or immersion. Tbh it feels like what my defender can actually do, and yeah I do know what it can do you should see the building sites I cross in winter 😂
The developers should add more modifications to these vehicles. Unique scout trailers are also missing. For me, these paid add-ons do not show a sincere commitment to improving SnowRunner. Jump to cash? Maybe not, but as a fan of SnowRunner and the overall mud franchise, he expects efforts from the developers.
I still miss all the unique add ons from Mudrunner.
Only wish we could have a choice of old defender in 110 and new in 90
The reason why I love these dlcs is because this are the polar opposite of "pay to win", these are harder trucks to play with and you will be at a disadvantage while playing with friends online

Don't forget to mention that you can make a pretty good police car with the 2020 land rover

4:43 what map is it?
The 420&750 are the OP Scouts but in got a thing for the 317 in Hard mode the fuel economy is the sickest I ever seen, too be real ppl have to be a masochist too use civilian scout cars, self for delivery's like i did😬
My fitting for the 317 is: biggest engine, freeway gearbox(manuel clutching is essential for highspeed and in light mud & medium mud i go in the H-gear and spam on speed button but i swap it out for the Snowrunner gearbox if its a inhuman mudmap), just the rised suspension(too be not easy too flipping it and also being quite stabil in gear 6 at full speed offroad including), wheels.. well its about the map if there are a lot of asphalt street I stick too the 41chains and if its a mud or snow map i be with the 41mud-tires, by the winch ppl can call me stupid but I use the extended&power winch😅
id much rather just download a mod for free if I'm feeling like a new scout truck not because its free but because of that crazy catawampus handling most official scouts seem to have, also the wheels, you get like 2 wheel options on most official scouts and they both suck and its business as usual here, even more annoying the spare wheels on both these Land Rovers dont appear to even be a wheel option so your going to be rocking a miss matched spare, yay

Do you need to convert a vehicle for it to use red diesel? I thought it was just regular diesel with red dye to show that tax hasn't been paid on it.
Exactly that. Although it’s often of lower quality than road DERV, without the clever additives that modern diesels need for longevity.

I love them and was happy to get them,tho as far as truck dlc....they did announce a deal with Western Star For they newest truck too so presumbaly thats coming out with season 8
I like the land rover pack their realy cool. Their a little expensive considering that a expansion map cost $6.99 American dollars and they have two or more trucks. And a pack like this costs 5.99 but their cool nonetheless

If definitely installed via the marketplace, you then may have to buy in the game though I thought they were automatically added. Bit strange.
I’m not going to lie these trucks may perform a nieche role but they are too cool to pass up
I prefer the jeep dual pack the lr is OK but I love that crawler suspension

Scouts are barely usable in the harder levels I find.

The modded 110 is way better but its pc only so this is great for console where you can't get certain mods

I like them being 🏴 I felt it was my national duty to get them 😂 in fairness tho better off going to Russia in the game and getting the alltrack scout out of the river loads better and it doesn't cost real money

rover pack is better than jeep one. both rovers are better in towing, offroad. but they all lose to vanilla trucks. so not worth of damn effort to get 'em.
Good summary yeah, the Jeep pack was particularly underwhelming.
Good thing they didn't make them realistic. Otherwise they would be breaking down all the time 😂

I understand why dlc content shouldn't be over powered for snowrunner. But the land rovers almost feel underwhelming, they're fin to play around with But not too viable
There's one simple reason I'm not buying them. There too small. It doesn't make since how small they are compared to other vehicles in the game they may be good in some places but I don't see them being good in snow and mud

I wish we had more customisation ooptions for wheels, the stock mud tires and 2 choices of wheels are ugly and totoally destroy the look of every scout. The mud tires lookk like someone repurposed front wheels from a tractor, and not a professional mud tires.
I think a customisation DLC or pack would be great, I agree there isn't enough.
