I made these last night and tried one today. The lemon curd that you put in a cream cheese base was all but lost from the strong cream cheese. I made them again today. I omitted the lemon curd in the cream cheese and added lemon juice with a little extra sugar into the cream cheese and it was much better and more lemony. 🍋Next time I think I'm going to try this with a bit of limoncello in the cream cheese. That should be YUM! 🍋

Not sure as I haven't tried it. I like this way because it's less steps and mess to clean up ;-) You're way would give a lovely ripple effect

Was it heavy whipping cream? You need to use a cream that will whip to stiff peaks.
Yes I used 35% cream which is the heaviest we can get here in Canada
