There are a few things I’d like to point out for the guttermen. 1. You can actually remove their shield by knuckle blasting it. This gives some time for you to kill it as it’s stunned. 2. The guttertank’s rockets are able to be frozen by the blue rocket, because they use the same technology according to the lore.
I think the robots weren't supposed to be in this layer. They just came down from the surface, just like V1 and V2 did. They are digging down just as we are and they caught up with us.
the guttermen, guttertanks and earthmovers were definitely recreated by hell since the earthmovers all died out (and have no way to get to hell anyway) and guttermen and guttertanks are practically ancient and were probably not being manufactured for decades if not over a century

The guttertanks also place down mines. These can be parried when triggered.
Take care shows up when you’re introduced to him it also makes a joke about how , you probably already unequipped it the weapon by now.
