Hi there, l seem to be getting a few comments about Phil's experience with ecoflow. I have not seen his video, so l can't comment about it. I can only give my honest opinion about this test and my experience with ecoflow they have been great to me and have supported my channel 😊
I was just about to mention Phil's experience with EcoFlow customer service and the unit failures when I saw your comment. Billy hasn't mentioned any failures with his units so maybe all will be good.
Don't take people's comments to heart. You do what you want to and need to do. Most of us watch because we admire you and we understand the finances involved. Keep up the good work. Phil's experience, and HE SAID SO HIMSELF was a PERSONAL experience HE had. I love you both.
Actually, Phil was very fair in his opinion, he said how pleased he was with the initial performance of his eco flow unit. However, his main gripe is with the customer service. He demonstrated how the unit will not charge or turn on. He found an eco flow forum on line and there were quite a few customers who had this same issue. Had their customer service replied to him so that he could have explained the issue as it is still under warranty he would have been satisfied. They have not done so and he has been completely unable to contact them. He wasn’t being nasty, just honest.
A lot of work goes into these videos, that are often filmed over a week in advance. I'd like to thank everyone that hasn't jumped to any unfair or far fetched conclusions about how this video, filmed last saturday and sunday might I add, has anything to do with Phil's review. It may seem to many of you that the french expat youtubers are constantly in contact and that we all watch each other's videos every time, but it's just not the case. Never base your opinion on one review. A review can only be based on personal experience. A company sends us a product to help with the cottage renovation in exchange for an honest review, and that's what this was.
You are doing a fantastic job editing and filming! I for one enjoy the variety and have no idea 💡, who is this 'Phil' they speak of? 🤭any way, I would trust Sean's review of the phone book or any other thing he reviews! Sean is a wealth of knowledge and experiences, not to mention the skill set he has! 👷🏻♂️🌷🌹💐🏗️🏚️🏆
Hi Jasmin. We think your doing awesome job, rain or shine. We think it so wonderful how you and your boo are helping your dad out. Hugs Jasmin from California. 😊
100% Jasmine! By watching your Dad and the family we know you all work very hard and always speak honestly! Love you guys! Such kind and friendly people.
My gosh, it only takes one sideways comment to upset everyone. I wish people would just be happy watching all the things you all do on You tube to entertain us. I am so thankful for you, your Dad and every other Chateau owner that shares their life with us! I hope this blows over quickly and the culprit gets a life!
Jasmine you said it. They are asking for a review in a true setting. Your dad is a fantastic person for this. Honest, working off grid and able to talk with others using the same equipment. I would like to tip my hat to you and the job you are doing on the videos.
Thank you to everyone who came out in support for Sean you are so lovely sending kind comments and we truly appreciate it. To those of you that were not so happy, there will be another video out on Monday that may be more to your liking. As the old saying goes "you can"t please all the people, all the time" Thanks for watching 🥰
Well said, I think we know enough about Sean to know that he will tell it as he finds it, if someone else has a problem that doesn't mean everyone will maybe it suits different jobs better but if Sean says it works for him that is good enough for me and if Phik says he has a problem then I also believe him. Not everything works perfectly for every job
After watching both Phil and Sean’s videos for quite some time .. I can honestly say I trust Sean to give a fair assessment of any product AND I think Phil would be horrified to know people are giving Sean a hard time regarding the EcoFlow..,Phil is the KING of kindness and speaks of it quite frequently.. put good energy out in the world ❤
Thank you Ecoflow for giving Sean this large generator to use for his restorations, not only building but also his copper and brass cleaning. Thank you Sean for the comparison test as well. I'm like you, can't stand the noise of a gasoline powered generator. Look for to more restoration videos. Have a Blessed day.
Every experience will be different, every machine is as well. Every once in awhile you get a lemon. But the men, and families that we enjoy watching all seem to be great people and honest. Sean, Billy and Phil. They post for our enjoyment....sit back, relax and enjoy. 😊
I really appreciate your review and I am sure pleased you have a sponsor for the amazing videos you (and all @Sean'sWorld), create! Your videos are always so informative and interesting and I learn from them all the time! It's really unfair to compare channels because they're all different and that's one of many things I enjoy, the variety. You are doing a fantastic job on the cottage and whomever gets to stay there is going to be well comfortable and blessed! 🌟👍😊🙏🤩🌄
Good to see you standing to the side of the buffer. Safer than if you were in front of it and the thing you are polishing came lose and goes through your tummy. Thank you for being safe! I learned my lesson with an ax. I did not separate my legs before hacking away at a piece of wood… managed to hit my shin with the ax. I never again approached an ax allowing the “fall path” of the ax able to hit my leg!!! Stay safe! Love the videos!
Hi Sean. Nice to see you working hard as usual. I commend you, for mentioning Phil's experience with a problematic situation. I understand, that things work, or they don't, when it comes to machines. I have found, that many products get built differently, based on time, country, etc. Great work on the wood, and the copper! Best Regards!
Having the right tools is so important to get jobs well done. You always work hard and well, so seeing you have some gadgets to help you along is wonderful. Well deserved for a great guy like you.
Nicely put. There are two stories to each side, but you put your preferences in there. I am glad your Work with Billie got you started on a nice trip. You deserve it
Well I enjoyed this and you and your lovely family have my total support, for what it’s worth 😊Having watched all your very genuine content I can totally see how this system has helped you out and seems fair enough to offer your opinions.
Oof, when you said "Polish me copper", I misheard... it makes much better sense when you listen properly!! 😀 Great episode, and some good food for thought here too on off-grid, thanks!
I'm happy they decided to sponsor because these units can be a game changer depending on your situation. Gas generators are decent, and although noisy, they are much more affordable for initial cost. But depending on the country where you live, gas can be extremely expensive or inconvenient to get. In the mid to long term, solutions like the ecoflow are much better. Would love to see a follow up on how you clean up the mounting of everything and wiring.
A great review and explanation of your experience with the EcoFlow solar power generator. All of my favorite French chateau reno channels have been very happy to test and review a number of different models. As I respect the people doing the reviews, I feel these must be awesome pieces of equipment because there have been so many positive comments with demos of these generators in action.
Great video Sean and jasmine 🎉.. I love the time you took to compare the two .. thank you for all your hard work to put out such interesting videos .. I appreciate your entire family ❤
Great video Sean. Well thought out and great examples of what makes the difference between petrol and ecoflo. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤❤❤🤩🤩🤩
Hello Sean. Awesome video today. I’m so glade to see that your finally able to address some of projects around your property that need demand attention. Wouldn’t want to see that beautiful cottage get any worse. We can wait for the end results. We know its going to look so warm and cozy. Have a awesome evening. Love form across the pond. Now off to your Etsy Shop. 😊
Hey Sean, I would like to comment on Ecoflow, sometimes when things are assembled on a line, (not sure if these are or not.) you can get a batch that will have the same issues, then the rest are fine, kind of like a recall on a car part. I think for the most part everyone who has been sponsored by Ecoflow has not had an issue. Phil has a legitimate complaint, and I hope he can resolve it. Other than that I am happy they are working well for you. Love from N.Y.
The polished pieces and tool bar are lovely. Thanks for sharing your experience with the electric generator . I bought an electric chainsaw for trimming and breaking down trees around our property be auseof the easier maintenance and reduced noise....
I am so glad you did this video as I have just purchased a small unit to power a lift chair in case of a power outage. It is a very cost effective and safe way to make sure the lift chair operates should it be needed. I had done a lot of research and thought that Ecoflo was the best alternative. Was glad for your perspective after Phil’s recent comments. Thank you Sean for taking time to discuss this and show off your beautiful polished copper pieces. They are really lovely!,😊
Have to say Sean, we had a petrol generator on our fam farm bc local power supply dropped out constantly. Ours was old, big, heavy & noisy. I love the Ecoflow option you & stacks of others are showing, it’s simply progress & love your review! Awesome!
Different topic. That’s cool you have a planer. Never thought about one of those at home. Made some pieces for Moroccan style shutter framing parts many years ago at a woodworking place. Learn as you go. That’s a really nice project wall piece with the copper ware. Hope you sell it all together and soon.
Hi sean, great review on the ecoflow they probably work great in the summer time but all these products are hopeless here in europe in the long dark winter months without sunlight.
Hi Sean. You explained the difference between both power sources so well good on you. EcoFlow seems to be of real benefit, eco friendly no noise, solar efficiency when the sun shines. Must be of great benefit for you !!!! 👌❤
I have two Ecoflow units. One to run my fridge in a power outage and a smaller unit to run my modem/router and to charge my phone and iPad during a power outage. Now I just need to experience a power outage. lol.
Sean I have been very interested ever since I saw Billy's and I just checked out their website. Don't you have a smaller unit of their's? I am interested in learning more about the smaller one's for camping and using in van? Thank you for your review.
I really enjoy Sean's narrative while he's working on his things. Can someone help me?....I think I've watched all of Seans videos and the Pethericks but I haven't heard if Sean will be returning to the Convent? It's clear that Sean has plenty of work to do on his own home place...
Hi Sean from Oz here, just wondering if you will do some lovely routing, you took the wo😂rds out of my mouth. Those implements deserve a beautiful display hanger.
Sean, this seems to be a good thing for you. I appreciate that you took into other people's considerations and reviews. I believe you gave it a very honest review and assessment. By the way, that copper is lovely.
Looks like the Ecoflo is working well for what you need. I’m thinking it might be nice as a backup supply for a heater. We have cold winters and it always seems the power goes out on the coldest days.
They will be great items in your shop Sean, didn’t they shine up beautifully! I’m so glad you have some endorsements with ecoflo to help your channel. Ecoflo won hands down IMHA? 👏🥰
Wow Sean, you certainly gave this unit an unbiased & thorough run-through. Testing against the fuel powered generator, which many of us are already familiar with...in my case summer off-grid or 'dry' camping in northern Canada, is a realistic comparison & much-appreciated feedback. Cheers 🙌
Sean, if you have to run the gen then you should also charge the Ecoflow at the same time when it is running, even on cloudy days or at night. That would be the most efficient use of the gas generator and extend the use of the battery system. Unless there is a problem doing that that I don't see.
Hi Sean, I've been enjoying your channel. The generator is a great addition to your workshop. Will we be seeing you regularly also on Billy's channel still?
I am completely enjoying all of your videos and you have done an excellent job comparing the two types of generators. We unfortunately have had our share of gasoline and propane powered generators because we live in Texas where hurricanes are quite common. We lose power sometimes for weeks at a time after a severe one. These generators cost a literal fortune to keep running having to feed it gas/propane constantly to keep things running. BUT I AM thankful to have one. PS-will you be returning to the convent at some point?
Thank you for another nice video Sean. Ecoflow sounds great but ask your friend Phil about his experience and also they have no solution on how to dispose of the batteries yet.
Why don't everyone who is complaining about the Ecoflow comparaison become Patrons to the channel ? That way, you can fund Sean's renovations yourselves ! It's not as if anyone is forcing you to watch this video... some of you need to get out of the house more 😅 I think you are getting to lost in the TH-cam virtual world.
Eco flow would have been great back when we used to put lots of outdoor Christmas lights. Too bad I one was thinking of portable, off-grid power at the time.
What a strange question. Billy has already said everyone will be back at the convent when the windows are installed, in the meantime Billy is doing jobs that he can do on his own,
Liked the old Bullnose on the end, my Gran had them curtain pelmets, I think they were called on all her windas in Howitt St Ballarat Nth. The router did a halfway decent job too. Genny and polisher, got any spare earmuffs m8? Hopefully, if you run into a prob like Phil, the backup is better, and the get back is faster too. Thanks m8!
Good luck with your power setup. Phil has a love hate relationship with Ecoflow....more precisely, he hates one particular battery system that he was taking to race venues and camping....or at least the customer service experience he got, when calling the "ordinary" customer service desk. BUT he still likes the larger battery units, like the 2 you have..... Good luck and have an open mind on your experience
Got a gas generator for emergencies with the same output for just over $350 USD brand new. I've used it to power a water pump and frig in a power outage without issue. Itt is loud, can't bring it inside, it is heavier (has wheels like yours) and is harder to move around, though not so bad to load on ATV trailer or back of a truck. But the price is a big difference. Unit cost, panels, the cost is beyond my budget. I'd love an eco-flow (or similar) to yours and panels, I might save up for it, but atm out of my budget.
@@Seans_World was just using my generator the other day to power an electric saw to cut branches. And towing that generator around I literally thought, damn I wish I had something like an eco-flo. 🤣 So it was funny seeing this come up the next day. Great demonstration though. Loved how the rack turned out.
Sean, you shouldn't use a wound up electric extension cable, because it could cause an electrical coil field something and could cause a fire. You need to check this out. X
I’m a big fan Sean. Struggling with all the “selling” happening. Whether it’s a review of Eco-Flow or promoting your shop. Please consider additional content. Thank you for your consideration.
Sean tries very hard to vary the content on his channel with renovation, gardening, outings and going out sourcing copper items for his business, and is currently filming a road trip video. Because of this every video may not always appeal to every viewer. Eco flow appeoached him and offered him some of their products when they heard he wanted to do the reno off grid. He gladly accepted as it was very helpful, they do not pay him, but they do ask that he occasionally talks about the products so that viewers that are looking to do something similar can know about them. He values the opinions of his viewers, but we also have to pay the bills. Have a great evening.😊
Maybe there's a reason he's having to promote things at the moment. it's really disheartening seeing negative comments about his attempts to fund this activity when he does all this to be able to spend so much time making videos. Some of his viewers dont understand how it's not to line his pockets, its to be able to afford to make the content. There are 5 other videos lined up, he mentions his shop maybe twice overall.
@@jasminec_ As I said, I’m a BIG fan of Sean! I’ve always been impressed with his professionalism and skill. Wasn’t meant as a negative comment. Just a suggestion. Do with it as you see fit. Leaving it at that.
@@philharmonicker6793 Certainly Sean’s content to design and present. But, as a consumer of that content, think I should have the ability to offer suggestions. My thumbs up isn’t an automatic.
So if your running power tools off one of these Ecoflow units, is it earth or RCD protected in any way? i”m thinking of getting a set up like this for an off grid workshop
Hi Sean. Love your channel. Since I work in the E-Waste industry I feel compelled to point something out. Lithium-Ion batteries pose a very serious situation when it comes to recycling. End of life Lithium-Ion batteries are very close to being categorized as hazardous waste, here in the States. While these batteries are very efficient during their lifespan, they become volatile afterward. Extensive research is currently being done to sort this out. These batteries are everywhere these days. I've experienced in my line of work, a fire from these batteries, you wouldn't want to be there! I apologize for being a negative nanny, I'd much rather use this type of unit over a fueled generator, but these are things to consider.

Sean, this seems to be a good thing for you. I appreciate that you took into other people's considerations and reviews. I believe you gave it a very honest review and assessment. By the way, that copper is lovely.
great review
Looks like the Ecoflo is working well for what you need. I’m thinking it might be nice as a backup supply for a heater. We have cold winters and it always seems the power goes out on the coldest days.
Being retired, only in our dreams would we be able to afford this unit!
I could used a ecoflo it would come in handy if our power goes out during a hurricane here in Florida. I enjoy your vlog. Thanks for sharing.
Don't forget to check out my ecoflow link in description it helps support the channel even just browsing
Interesting Sean thank you for sharing 😊
They will be great items in your shop Sean, didn’t they shine up beautifully! I’m so glad you have some endorsements with ecoflo to help your channel. Ecoflo won hands down IMHA? 👏🥰
Thank you all
Wow Sean, you certainly gave this unit an unbiased & thorough run-through. Testing against the fuel powered generator, which many of us are already familiar with...in my case summer off-grid or 'dry' camping in northern Canada, is a realistic comparison & much-appreciated feedback. Cheers 🙌
Glad it helped ecoflow told me to be unbiased in my reviews
Ecoflow 👍.
Demo pieces ❤.
But, how 'bout the guns on Sean!!?💪🏽👀
Well at least the Ecoflow works for you
Loved your video, Sean! Your work is lovely ❣️❣️
Congratulations on your new unit. I would love to have one. I live in South Louisiana, hurricane county 😢
They are a great addition don't forget check out ecoflow link in description even browsing will help support the channel 👍
Sean, if you have to run the gen then you should also charge the Ecoflow at the same time when it is running, even on cloudy days or at night. That would be the most efficient use of the gas generator and extend the use of the battery system. Unless there is a problem doing that that I don't see.
I charge the ecoflow for my car when l go out on longer journeys
Hope the Generator lasts longer than Phils….🇬🇧🇬🇧🍷🍷
It has a five year warranty
Its the after service Phil was upset about. I think we are all experts now as so many Chateau utube have this Generator.
Like your hair cut. You do very nice work. Thanks for the eco flow information. I will order one soon.
Hi that's great if you use my link in the description it really helps support the channel 😀
And you get 5% off 😊
Ecoflow looks great. I ❤️ my petrol as well. 😁
Yes used along side a petrol unit you have all bases covered
Interesting. Thank you.
Thank you for another nice video Sean. Ecoflow sounds great but ask your friend Phil about his experience and also they have no solution on how to dispose of the batteries yet.
Well l would imagine they are recycled ♻️ as most electronic products are
Great testing 👌
Why don't everyone who is complaining about the Ecoflow comparaison become Patrons to the channel ? That way, you can fund Sean's renovations yourselves ! It's not as if anyone is forcing you to watch this video... some of you need to get out of the house more 😅 I think you are getting to lost in the TH-cam virtual world.
Eco flow would have been great back when we used to put lots of outdoor Christmas lights. Too bad I one was thinking of portable, off-grid power at the time.
Do you have lithium farms in France? If so we would love to go on a tour with you.
Brasso will clean up those copper utensils faster.
No they won't
Question are you still friends with Billy and are you going to work at the convent again ?
Yes we are good friends with Billy and all his family😊
What a strange question. Billy has already said everyone will be back at the convent when the windows are installed, in the meantime Billy is doing jobs that he can do on his own,
Great progress Sean.😊
Liked the old Bullnose on the end, my Gran had them curtain pelmets, I think they were called on all her windas in Howitt St Ballarat Nth. The router did a halfway decent job too. Genny and polisher, got any spare earmuffs m8? Hopefully, if you run into a prob like Phil, the backup is better, and the get back is faster too. Thanks m8!
Hi there Thank you for your kind donation and your Grans story 😊 much appreciated
Yes there are many factors and situations to consider
@@Seans_World was just using my generator the other day to power an electric saw to cut branches. And towing that generator around I literally thought, damn I wish I had something like an eco-flo. 🤣 So it was funny seeing this come up the next day.
Great demonstration though. Loved how the rack turned out.
Sean, you shouldn't use a wound up electric extension cable, because it could cause an electrical coil field something and could cause a fire. You need to check this out. X
Yes l am aware of this l mentioned it in a previous video.
I don't do this when lam working in normal conditions
Informative and interesting as usual. Thanks to all who helped make it happen!
The link to the company is above …. Why don’t you message them about their product.
Hello Freddy!
🐸
When recycled, 95 per cent of lithium-ion battery components can be turned into new batteries or used in other industries.
Definitely there are always down sides to new tech iam sure they will find an adequate solution
