This is what I love about your unboxings, some people get 3-5 games you see every day but not you. No you get the awesome obscure ones nobody's every heard of, your face lights up every time, and the awesome consoles few people own or rarely talk about. I hope you can continue to pump these vids out best of luck.
I've shown my wife a few of your videos now and she's hooked. I told her that one of the best things is watching your videos for new MegaDrive/Sega attachments/products because they tried EVERYTHING way back in the 80s-90s. Absolutely love it when you pull out a new piece of Sega kit that we haven't seen or heard of before and, this time's no exception. A Karaoke machine, who would have thought!
I'm more and more amazed by your knowledge of games and consoles with every video. In the future people will probably have jobs doing what you're doing now, preserving gaming history. Good luck with your collection and keep up the great work!
I love these videos! So many less known stuff emerges from those boxes! That Sharp X1 looks amazing! And that mega-cd karaoke unit blew me away! Didn't know something like that even existed!! :) Thanks for sharing this, Joel! I'm always learning from your videos! You're a living encyclopedia! :) Have a great week! Cheers from Portugal!
You got some really rare and amazing pick-ups here Joel. I've never even heard of most of the stuff. Your a lucky man having such a dedicated supplier overseas. Keep up the amazing content
Loved Chased HQ, never knew there was a prequel, my all time fav arcade game was Lucky and wild, playing that with my brother was loads of fun, ah memories ...
I'd forgotten that karaoke machine existed. Nice work filling out the Japanese PC collection. I mentioned in a previous comment that it seemed to be the one area left that's ripe for expansion can see you're way ahead of me. Nice work throwing in the little edits of game footage and memes into these videos gives them a lot more colour than the typical TH-cam unboxings. That and you're always getting preposterously cool Japanese stuff.
Hey! You can now play the very first Thunderforce from Technosoft on your Sharp X1. Your friend in Japan does a very good job in bringing you these obscure titles and hardware.
lol...great video as always...and that Wonderboy music in the background...I used to pump so much money in to that game its unreal...used to have crowds of people around me as I got to like the 5th and 6th Boss..never could complete it tho....I used to dream about that music lol
I've never felt excited watching other people open parcels and goodies except when I watch you do it, I think the enthusiasm and excitement really shines through! Great video!
The build quality on the X-1 is out of this world. I am looking at it from my computer screen here in Melbs, and I tell you what, I'm excited for you! Keep up the good work mate!
Re: The Sharp X1. You really need a room dedicated to recording B-roll with a white background and a white turntable to put stuff like this on. Something like that (after some clean up) needs to be recorded from all sides in a beauty shot. 😍
A video filled with awesome old consoles and games which only could have existed inside of Japan? It must be another "What's in the Box?" with Joel! Thanks again for the excellent content you put out, I really enjoyed seeing your reactions to opening all of this stuff as it's clear that you really appreciate every aspect of it. I had heard of all of the Sega items as I grew up on that stuff and finding out about all of the obscurities, probably the rarest Sega consoles I own are a Sega Multi-Mega with 32X plus a Sega Nomad which I'm lucky to own but a Sega Jet?!? Not to mention an SG 1000 MKII... now that is just pure retro gaming excellence right there. What's not to love? Keep up the good work Joel.
Very nice couple of x68000 additions. Always love the SG-1000 titles, very close to a full set myself now. The Sharp X1 looks wicked, haven't seen one of those before. Looks in awesome condition too. The Megajet styling looks very similar to the Game Gear.
all red like that with separate keyboard, that X1 is i believe a CZ-800C model wich is the first X1 computer model wich was introduced in 1982 very nice, i do own a X1 Twin CZ-830C from 1987 same year the X68000 launched, the X1 computer line lasted untill 1988 with the Turbo Z III one year after the X68000 launch.
The excitement on your face when you unpack the items is priceless! like a kid at christmas and there ain't nowt wrong with that! love ya passion man, best gaming channel on TH-cam! keep up the good work sir! :)
hey joel im really really liking this channel, you definitely have something special going on here and i can see this channel really start to grow and the entertainment getting better and better!
That music for that game in the beginning is going to play in my head all day now! 😆 Catchy Tune! Love your videos, watching systems and games I never heard of! Shame on me to think you had something simple in the box like a snes classic!
Wow never knew that system existed, can,t wait to see it in action. Id be a bit nervous collecting floppy's and tape based games, I was always told those formats don,t stand the test of time.
Its great to see some of these machines I wasnt familiar with. I will definately have to check out some games on the X1. Im from the US and mostly played console games. A little commodore 64 but mostly console.
Wow, I didn't know Exciting Hour was on the X68000. I played that so much in the mid 80s that I could have bought the PCB. I actually picked it up in '95 for around $50 and it's still one of my favorite wrestling games, that and WWF Superstars by Technos.
Holy Wow Joel. You've got a growing stable of beauties! I'm thinking a giant acrylic cube to place over that X1 (after it's all hooked up). Not many can be left in this age and yours looks mint. That red is so beautiful. It reminds me of the Phantom Limb from MGSV or Famicom Red. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Please record us a song of her purring. =D Edit: I continued watching and saw the teaser. Thanks Joel. Can't wait to see an X1 game running! Hope you do an MSX special too. Those Nihon computers are sexy machines.
The Sharp X1 machine looks great! Do you have any games for it that you can show us in the future? That would be great, to see it in action. The games collection keeps on growing, and can't wait to see the playroom and the library tour.
Ive been excited to see whats in that box, Really cool to see that X1 computer its the first time ive seen one and that mega drive karaoke unit is awesome
had a chat with my uncle to see if he knew anything about the old boot camp/combat school arcade and he says its a rare one and he remembered playing it back in the day over in Aus when he lived over there might have even been the same cab you played on haha but he wasnt sure if he had seen one here across the ditch or not hes more into his pins will keep an eye out though you never know where one will turn up, not sure if this is any use to you but might be a piece to the puzzle www.ebay.com/itm/302375781049?item=302375781049&rmvSB=true
Please don't cut towards yourself, getting anything new is pretty exciting and there's always a chance you can hurt yourself in the process (I haven't but I've been pretty close and it has been an eye opening experience). Better be safe than sorry! Anyway, great video, keep them coming!
Nice one Joel ,,superb computer,,love to see it running,,keep it up,,always amaze me your games collection growing ,,one day it will be complete lol. who you kidding
Love the Sharp X1! Great video as always, is that intro music in one part the same as Metal Jesus Rocks? What a fake that guy is I thought he made that and it's just pubic use!? This is the only gaming channel that is %100 genuine
I recently stumbled upon your channel and I must say I'm really impressed by your collection and how you present it. I recenlty watched your video where you showcased your collection and you mentioned you would do a video on the "secrets of collecting games". Have you done that video yet or are you working on it?
Really nice stuff. ;) I got one question: do you leave stickers with prices on the cover of the games or do you try to remove them? I always tried to remove all stickers, but after that, some boxes looked very strange so I decided to leave everything like it is. Now I think, these stickers are part of the history of this game. What do you think about it?
Joel - What do you do with all the bubble wrap/cardboard? Store it, recycle it? The Sharp X1 looks super cool. Also, I love how anything I order from Japan whether it's from a big site or individual eBay seller is usually packed up really, really carefully.
Would you mind linking me to what you used to catalogue your PlayStation (US/Japan) and SNES/Super Famicom libraries? These are two systems I really want to work on collecting and I'd like to print off the lists for them
This is what I love about your unboxings, some people get 3-5 games you see every day but not you. No you get the awesome obscure ones nobody's every heard of, your face lights up every time, and the awesome consoles few people own or rarely talk about. I hope you can continue to pump these vids out best of luck.
Michael Georgiou thank you 🙏
I love that this guy takes the time to show footage of every game as he unwraps them, very cool thank you!
Solo Fox 🙏

Hello fancy seeing you here xD
Joel is such a cool dude! As I said, a living encyclopedia! :)
You got some really rare and amazing pick-ups here Joel. I've never even heard of most of the stuff. Your a lucky man having such a dedicated supplier overseas. Keep up the amazing content
Wow, the X1 looks so cool and high quality I love it. Great stuff!
Man, those X6800 look so good! Awesome artwork and design unlike many game boxes today. Also that red Sharp X1 looks gorgeous. Good stuff!
Really cool unboxing! Love the blood red color on the X1, and you blew my mind when you brought out the MegaCD karaoke machine and the MegaJet.
Loved Chased HQ, never knew there was a prequel, my all time fav arcade game was Lucky and wild, playing that with my brother was loads of fun, ah memories ...
I love the positive attitude. Your excitement brings me joy :)
I'd forgotten that karaoke machine existed. Nice work filling out the Japanese PC collection. Hey! You can now play the very first Thunderforce from Technosoft on your Sharp X1. Your friend in Japan does a very good job in bringing you these obscure titles and hardware.
mattinao yes. I can't wait to get thunder force
Fascinating stuff - never heard of much of the obscure stuff you manage to get hold of!!
the 'bubble wrap' flashback cracked me up. another awesome vid mate! can't wait to see that x1 in action
lol...great video as always...and that Wonderboy music in the background...I used to pump so much money in to that game its unreal...used to have crowds of people around me as I got to like the 5th and 6th Boss..never could complete it tho....I used to dream about that music lol
I wish I loved something as much as you love video games.
Looking forward to seeing the X1 working! Lovely pickups!
I've never felt excited watching other people open parcels and goodies except when I watch you do it, I think the enthusiasm and excitement really shines through! Great video!
It's coz it reminds us of being kids at Xmas unwrapping games!
The build quality on the X-1 is out of this world. I am looking at it from my computer screen here in Melbs, and I tell you what, I'm excited for you! Keep up the good work mate!
These are like historic relics of the past
Would love to see a big video feature on the X68000 and the virtually arcade perfect ports available for it.
Agreed. Who doesn't love late 80s/early 90s arcade perfect ports!

Never heard of the Sharp X1 so good to learn something new.
Dude if I was any more jelly than I would be strawberry flavoured
The color of that X1 is really nice. Thats from a era of standard colors being between Brown and Putty too. A matching monitor would be bitchin.
Hey everyone, it's Friday tomorrow! You know what that means?
A new video from Last Gamer.
Peace from Brisbane.
Malcolm Eagar working on it now 🙏
hey joel im really really liking this channel, you definitely have something special going on here and i can see this channel really start to grow and the entertainment getting better and better!
That Super Hang On music is just too good
Man, that X1 looks sharp!
BitHead1000 👍
That midi version of Outride a Crisis from Hang On is immense. Honestly one of my favourite pieces of music.
dpw81 👍
looking forward to seeing sharp x1 game play videos. I grew up with sharp tv but never imagined they made game systems at the time :D
That music for that game in the beginning is going to play in my head all day now! 😆 Catchy Tune! Love your videos, watching systems and games I never heard of! Shame on me to think you had something simple in the box like a snes classic!
Your collection is really crazy... Unparalleled in almost every regard....
Lemme know if you need a Vhd system for that X1
The sound of games is always so good in your videos, good job !
Great unboxing, and I'm very impressed by the way everything was packed, amazing packing job.
Wow never knew that system existed, can,t wait to see it in action.

Love the put away portions =) What a great overall video too!
I love how excited you are.
Amazing selection you got there Joel.
Another fun video Joel. You should have more subscriptions, it's much deserved. Word of mouth is getting around though.
streetmagik 🙏
He probably bought the sg-1000 games in bulk. That's why you got that game you already have.
Wow, I didn't know Exciting Hour was on the X68000. I played that so much in the mid 80s that I could have bought the PCB. I actually picked it up in '95 for around $50 and it's still one of my favorite wrestling games, that and WWF Superstars by Technos.

Really nice stuff. ;) I got one question: do you leave stickers with prices on the cover of the games or do you try to remove them? I always tried to remove all stickers, but after that, some boxes looked very strange so I decided to leave everything like it is. Now I think, these stickers are part of the history of this game. Maik Döring yes I leave them when they are this old
Joel - What do you do with all the bubble wrap/cardboard? Store it, recycle it? The Sharp X1 looks super cool. Also, I love how anything I order from Japan whether it's from a big site or individual eBay seller is usually packed up really, really carefully.

Would you mind linking me to what you used to catalogue your PlayStation (US/Japan) and SNES/Super Famicom libraries? These are two systems I really want to work on collecting and I'd like to print off the lists for them
Why does the Sharp (made in 1982) look better than everything that's ever made in 2018...
Subscribed within the first minute👌😂. Thnx so far! Now I will watch my first video of The Last Gamer.👍😀
Wonderful Red X1 Beauty
