Can’t speak for the Model Y, but we have a Model 3. After 18 months of ownership it still excites on every drive. Our other car is... a Ford Focus Titanium X. It’s parked in the garage and my wife won’t drive it anymore! Best sell it soon before people cotton on to how antiquated petrol cars are!
@@joyboy6535 What do you mean? That’s a bit confusing. Example the Car sitting in winter at the airport outside will loose 7%-12% charge over two weeks it’s called vampire drain. Cost example on (Octopus) electric home provider is cost £4 to fill the battery or tank to the usual £48 on petrol hatchback. Example of paying at superchargers Glasgow to Duxford and back around 860 miles. Cost £9.80 the same trip the year before driving a hatchback that was getting 55 mpg over the trip cost £98. Before you go on aaaa but you had to wait at the superchargers twice in this case 32 minutes total between the two used. Yes the Tesla cost two and a bit times of the hatch when it was bought factory ordered but seeing a trip taken that is done often costing under a £10 to that of near £100, the Car driving itself 90% of the time perfectly with supervision granted on long motorways stretches - I’ll never trust AP in any car sorry I’m old school completely but to come out of 423 miles feeling not tired to that of previous years a bonus.
@@joyboy6535 No, I haven't sat up through the night counting the electricity. Maybe I should, but not sure how to do this. However I think my wife would be a bit concerned if I start burning the battery. Let alone burning it 100%. That'd ruin the car wouldn't it?
I would highly recommend purchasing one in the middle of winter, Didn't realise how much difference the cold weather has on battery drain. If you can handle the pressure of winter then you'll absolutely love summer, it's only 12c here but the range difference is incredible.
I appreciate the time you take out to give such a thorough explanation without the gibberish that many other Tesla owners put out there with negative statements; they honestly just put out there more hate words than good But then again, humans are never satisfied. I appreciate the quality explanation. Your video has added more of a good reason for me to buy with confidence. I’ve seen approximately 400 videos in the past eight months. They all do the same say the same thing; I intend to buy a model Y, and I’ve been putting off until maybe March or April 2021 either way. I know what you said; it’s so clear there’s never a wrong time to buy...Thank you.
Hi Chris I currently drive a BMW M2 Competition which might at first not seem like a typical EV buyer however the running costs are simply astounding on the EV front and it’s got my attention. I think first action is a test drive to check I can enjoy the difference as opposed to regretting the move! Your vlogs have been highly informative so thank you. Cheers, Kevin.
Currently driving a Model 3 Performance, just delivered in December. Your videos helped me decide on this car, I'd watch them all the time in the months before ordering. And, they kept me sane during the long 8 weeks I waited after ordering haha. Great content as always!
We are still rocking a Kia E-Niro 64kw First Edition while resisting the very strong urge to upgrade to a Model 3 Long Range! I have 4 small children, so waiting a few months for the Tesla Model Y from Giga Berlin will probably make most sense. The Berlin vehicles should come with front and rear mega castings, structural battery pack, 4860 battery cells, reduced weight, centralised mass, improved paint, German build quality and hopefully a reduction in price, as french and German markets have seen a €2000 to €3000 reduction in price! We can but hope! Lol
Happy Sunday Mate, I’m currently driving a paid off 2016 Ford fusion SE It’s black on black with 5% window tint Aesthetic wise it’s pretty pleasing. My gripe with the car is the fuel efficiency & that the black paint shows lots of defects. Also it feels like a old car with no OTA updates. We’re currently saving for a home & after that we really want to get a model Y for the family. Great video like always, cheers!
Currently driving a 2013 Camry, and can't wait to dive into the EV world. Great video with really useful advice! I appreciate you mentioning the little logistical issues to deal with like getting registration and insurance. Thank you.

Tesla Model 3 Long Range with 19” sport wheels. The car has been excellent from collection in September 2019 except for one thing: Midnight Silver Metallic paint finish. Wife insists it is called grey. Yep, should have bought red, white, black, blue. Any colour but grey. But it hasn’t stopped her driving it at every opportunity.
Great video dude. I’ve just ordered a Model 3 S+. Should hear tomorrow for approx delivery date 🤞🏼. Gutted I ordered before seeing this for the referral code.
Hi, I so nearly went for the Model 3 recently off the back of your videos. My mouse was over the Purchase button several times. In the end though I decided to go for one last "treat" and ended up buying an M2 Competition. Defo electric next. Keep on producing the great content mate.
I was thinking the village you was driving round at the beginning looked awfully familiar! I used to work in the Tesco just round the corner from where you set off hahaha! Small world!
Excellent video. I currently drive a Seat Leon Cupra 290 and the wife has a Cupra Ateca 310. I'm looking to replace the Leon with a Tesla M3P or LR. Not only for savings on fuel costs but for the convenience of home charging. Atm the Leon costs around £80 to fill and will return around 250miles. I'm currently locked in with Octopus energy from last year at 18pence per kW 24hrs a day.
Thanks for the honest comments on the purchase process. I am still in my 2016, 30kWh Leaf, 60 000miles down. Like some other commenters, I can't stretch to a Tesla yet. Perhaps some of your subscribers' employer do the ULEV salary sacrifice scheme; lease a Tesla before tax and NI. mine says it will, but no joy so far... They can still use you referral code!
Currently I have an 11 year old Citroën Grand C4 Picasso Diesel, great car a real family container but I am looking forward to the Model Y from Giga Berlin.
Man I've been binging your Tesla videos. Would love to see you cover both the new "Advanced Autopilot", which is a stripped back FSD for the UK market and the acceleration upgrade for the LR.
@@SpawnPoiint Hahaha, thats my only worry. I currently have a Golf R MK7.5. Love it to bits, and I would like the acceleration to be as intoxicating haha. Its about 4.5 seconds to 60 and AWD, so was wondering if the LR could quench that same thirst, whilst being more economical (for sure) and a better overall car
Love to see another Tesla video. Is there any chance you can can get other Teslas ( New model 3, S and X) for a week and do the reviews? I think Tesla will be happy to give you these cars for making video
Great video mate. Had a BMW 330ci Clubsport for 14 years. Been thinking of getting a LR Model 3 for a while but issues/build quality put me off. The Ford Mach-E looks good. Hopefully Tesla will up their quality control now there are other alternatives. Sounds like cars made at the China factory are better built. Hopefully the UK will get those. 👍🏻
Totally agree mate, it will be great to see if the Berlin cars will be better built. I think they will be, so when we get the Model Y it should be awesome.
Another great video.👍Test drove a LR AWD last week as a possible replacement for my MX5 ND. Use it for a 100 mile round trip commute each day, so a lot of possible savings in petrol. Thought it would be a disappointment compared to the MX5, but was surprised at how much fun the handling was and I didn't really miss the exhaust note. Tesla have actually offered a competitive trade-in price so probably going for it. Just got to decide on colours/should I get the Performance.
That’s awesome mate. You’re right the noise/exhaust note doesn’t seem such a big deal once you’re planting your foot either. Enjoy which ever you go for.
I’m currently driving a 2015 Lexus IS. Probably gonna swap to a model 3 or model Y since I don’t really drive for a long trip and electric motors will be more efficient than gas engines in city environments.
Ordered the LR from stock today and used your referral Chris, might see you around these parts and if you want to compare yours v a new model let me know!
Still have yet to get a car, but my dream garage would be a Tesla Roadster, a Porsche Carrera GT, a Ferrari Enzo, a Lamborghini Countach, a Rolls Royce Phantom, a Lexus LFA, a Bugatti Chiron, and a Dodge Viper SRT.
Great videos - found really informative when making decision to take the plunge to EV and a Tesla. Have used your referral link so hope you get to enjoy another road trip!
Great video, thanks for sharing the tips. Currently without a car at the moment but have a Model Y on pre-order from the Giga Berlin. Will certainly be checking out your other videos for accessories, etc to get beforehand. Cheers
@@SpawnPoiint I am in Switzerland. From the UK but moved here a few years back. Understand the UK cannot order Model Y yet as my old boy is also interested. Guess you'll just have to keep patient for now :)
Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed your videos, I've watched quite a few without realizing. I like watching desk tour vids, wanted to make sure the PS5 Pulse 3D headphones were decent and recently started considering a Tesla Model 3. If you could do me a couple of Golf swing videos, Sony A7ii lens videos and A day in the life of a video game developer, you'd have the full house. Also good to hear a northerner on YT
Currently driving a Kia Venga. Hoping to get a Tesla model 3 in the near future. I'm in Scotland so hoping to take advantage of the interest free loan from the Energy Saving Trust.
I drive a little Audi A1 which I love, but I hate that it’s an ICE. I’m moving to a house with off-street parking soon, so hoping that I can get a charger put in and would love to one day get a model 3, or the new rumoured smaller Tesla.
@@SpawnPoiint yeah, think it’s gone under the radar a bit really. Not seen many youtube reviews etc on it. It’s a been really reliable and good fun to drive, really nippy.

Love to see another Tesla video. Is there any chance you can can get other Teslas ( New model 3, S and X) for a week and do the reviews? I think Tesla will be happy to give you these cars for making video
I think I’ll reach out and ask one day
Test driving a model 3 performance on Wednesday. I’m really looking forward to it. Will probably order the LR following the test drive.
Enjoy the drive mate. You’ll love it.
Test drive went well. Just ordered a 2021 Model 3 Long Range as my company car. Woohoo! Time to rewatch all your videos again! Thanks for the content.
@@saintsteve test driving a m3 was the worst thing I could do... fell in love with the car and can’t afford the car yet
@@tucalicuban I’m sure it will happen for you soon 🤞
Your videos are great
Currently driving 2010 Hyundai Santro(India)
Thank you mate
Great content; have watched a lot of your model 3 videos whilst deciding on my Tesla purchase. Just used your referral link to place my order 👍
Thank you mate.
2015 Subaru WRX! But I’m leaning on selling that and opting for model 3 long range.
Thanks for the video. I’m currently driving a Mercedes C350e PHEV. Model 3 long range on order.
That's awesome mate, no problem too!
Great video. Insightful to those of us considering. Thanks!
Driving Twingo 3 - 2016... Hoping to buy Model 3 LR RED 2021...
Also great video as always...
Thanks mate. That’ll be awesome.
Thanks for another good video. I’m currently driving a VW Passat and looking at a M3 LR.
Thank you mate.
Thanks for time stamps 😃
No problem, thanks mate.
Just ordered my Model 3 Long Range (via work scheme), it will be replacing my 2016 Mercedes E class
Nice one mate. You’ll love it
Great video, currently driving a 2014 Jaguar XF, planning on buying the new model S plaid+
Nice one. That’ll be awesome.
I’m currently driving a 2015 Lexus IS. Probably gonna swap to a model 3 or model Y since I don’t really drive for a long trip and electric motors will be more efficient than gas engines in city environments.
Sounds like a great plan mate.
Patiently waiting for the Model Y to release in the UK. Although the new 2021 Model 3 with the wireless charger and black trim looks incredible!
Hopefully by the time we get the Model Y, we'll see some slight tweaks too.
I hope so, although here’s to hoping they don’t put the Model S/X steering wheel in it!
I’ve currently got a 2005 Vauxhall Astra. One day the dream is a long range model 3 🤞🏼
Nice dream too mate.
Ordered the LR from stock today and used your referral Chris, might see you around these parts and if you want to compare yours v a new model let me know!
Thank you mate.
Currently driving a 68 reg Skoda Fabia. will hold on until Tesla release a small hatchback/model 2.
Hopefully we’ll see one soon mate
Great video, looking at the Model Y when it’s available in the UK.
Great idea mate. Will be great when we have it.
@Gabriel G this is my personal list. That’s ultimately their choice.
Great videos - found really informative when making decision to take the plunge to EV and a Tesla. Have used your referral link so hope you get to enjoy another road trip!
Awesome, thank you mate. And enjoy the new car.
I had a quote for insurance for the SR but it was £600. I’m 43 with 20 plus years no claims.
Great video, thanks for sharing the tips. Currently without a car at the moment but have a Model Y on pre-order from the Giga Berlin. Will certainly be checking out your other videos for accessories, etc to get beforehand. Cheers
That’s great. Where are you located? I can’t order a Model Y yet here in the U.K., but keen to.
@@SpawnPoiint I am in Switzerland. From the UK but moved here a few years back. Understand the UK cannot order Model Y yet as my old boy is also interested. Guess you'll just have to keep patient for now :)
Current 420i and thinking of 3 performance but might drop to standard depending on price
Also good to hear a northerner on YT
haha that's awesome, thanks for sticking around, it's appreciated!
As an American I keep freaking out when I see him driving on the left side of the road.
Currently driving a Kia Venga. Hoping to get a Tesla model 3 in the near future. I'm in Scotland so hoping to take advantage of the interest free loan from the Energy Saving Trust.
That loan is absolutely awesome up there.
I drive a little Audi A1 which I love, but I hate that it’s an ICE. I’m moving to a house with off-street parking soon, so hoping that I can get a charger put in and would love to one day get a model 3, or the new rumoured smaller Tesla.
Nice to have a goal for it mate. Fingers crossed for you (especially if there’s a new smaller one).
Great video. Looking at leasing a model 3. Going for a test drive this weekend!
Far from being able to afford one or being able to buy one but still watched this :-D Loved it. More road trips! :-D
BTW that kitty at 9:56 though!
Currently driving Suzuki Sx4 - sigh!
Thanks for the support mate.
Thanks for all the info - eagerly awaiting delivery day here...
I currently drive the new Toyota Yaris Hybrid and plan my next car to be a Tesla Model 3 LR
Oh nice one mate.
Chilling with the video
Cheers mate 🤙
Thanks for another great video. I’m currently driving the Peugeot e2008.
That's great mate, a nice sized car that, and I've not seen many around yet either.
@@SpawnPoiint yeah, think it’s gone under the radar a bit really. Not seen many youtube reviews etc on it. It’s a been really reliable and good fun to drive, really nippy.
