I find it funny how, in the Title Defense portion, everyone except for Glass Joe is all pissed that Little Mac won. I also like how, even though Joe got *brain damage*, he still decided he wanted to fight. Now that's admirable. Glass Joe may suck but you gotta give him props for being persistent.

There was nothing left and eventually he grew tired of the fame, so after careful consideration he decided to go out in a blaze of glory so to speak and fight challenger after challenger until he lost 3 bouts after which he will retire from boxing. The cut-scene after is when Mac has lost 3 bouts and has retired and Doc is just reminiscing about the journey they've been through. For those of you still a little confused, Mac's Last Stand is the last part of Career mode, which is unlocked after beating Title Defense Sandman and completing Title Defense Mode. The game mode pits you against randomly-chosen opponents, which are continually chosen until you accumulate three losses. There is a mode called Champion's Mode which can be unlocked but you must win ten total fights in Mac's Last Stand. If you don't win 10 fights before losing 3 fights then Champion's mode will remain locked and it will be impossible to get it on that profile. Career Mode becomes locked and unplayable forever once the 3 bouts are lost. So this mode is for the people who want to just go all out or get 100% complete. So there is no way to get around this mode to keep career mode from getting locked. If you do try this game mode remember what the consequences are as the game will not stop until you lose 3 bouts. Wow, that ending part knowing Little Mac retired from boxing was actually kind of sad... The entire game kinda tells you that no matter how small or weak you may seem, if you train enough, even the biggest, roughest, meanest, most cheating people can't win against you. Doc Louis was a brilliant character in himself. Good job, son.

Well I’m Irish and I am just blown away how accurate every aspect of that fight against the Irish guy is. But the most accurate part is before the fight starts after you select to fight him. The way he walks right up to you and stands right in front of your face is like I’m watching a real Conner McGregor fight

I like how everybody gets some cool equipment or just has some stupidly hard training and then there’s Aran “Ooh a Rope! I’m going to be the next champion!”
To be fair, it felt good to see that Mac's victory over most of these characters pushed them to improve that little bit more. Whether out of competitiveness or pure rage, most of these opponents simply trained more to feel good enough to face Mac again. Plain and simple competition breeding progress, even if it didn't pay out in the way they wanted in the end.

I mean, he's to only opponent who's opening slideshow has more that four slides and they're all him dominating the others, so that's a pretty fitting reaction
There's still a ton of Punch Out characters that they can still make a new Punch Out game like this. They'd just need to flesh out the characters a bit, but imagine what this team could do with characters like Narcis Prince, Rick/Nick Bruiser, Mad Clown, Masked Muscle, Gabby Jay, Pizza Pasta, Heike Kagero, Dragon Chan, Hoy Quarlow, and Piston Hurricane. They can even create some new characters, like they did with Disco Kid, and completely revamp old ones like they did with Aran Ryan.

To be fair, it felt good to see that Mac's victory over most of these characters pushed them to improve that little bit more. Whether out of competitiveness or pure rage, most of these opponents simply trained more to feel good enough to face Mac again. Plain and simple competition breeding progress, even if it didn't pay out in the way they wanted in the end.

There's still a ton of Punch Out characters that they can still make a new Punch Out game like this.
They'd just need to flesh out the characters a bit, but imagine what this team could do with characters like Narcis Prince, Rick/Nick Bruiser, Mad Clown, Masked Muscle, Gabby Jay, Pizza Pasta, Heike Kagero, Dragon Chan, Hoy Quarlow, and Piston Hurricane.
They can even create some new characters, like they did with Disco Kid, and completely revamp old ones like they did with Aran Ryan.
