I don't think $60 is a fair price for any remaster really, but at say $40 I'll buy it especially because I want to see a proper sequel and I'm probably among the few that secretly wanted to see this remastered on PS4 so my small wish came true.
Bulletstorm was fun and addicting. When I first got it, I was on it all day everyday. It was the only game I played for a whole 5 months. I had everything done and unlocked. It was all done in 2011. But now I'm ready for the remastered version. I'm in to the bloody, humor games. I love games period. I recommend this to anyone, who is looking for a bloody game.

Simpsons is a TV show and that's what it should be. Leave game development to the characters and plotlines designed for it. If the Simpsons were as funny as South Park, then they might pull it off. But the Simpsons is objectively not as funny as South Park due to the fact that their comedy styles are similar, yet, the Simpsons comedy is intentionally watered down and "tame", simply to appeal to a wider variety of audience age groups.
Definitely want to pick this up at one point, a bit surprising as I was thinking this would be a good $40 title as opposed to $60. Thankfully I'm busy with other games right now so I'll probably wait to pick it up on a sale later this year.

Never played this game before, but once I started playing it I couldn't stop. Hilarious dialogue and insults i never even thought of before. Very imaginative combat system and crazy skill shots. Grade A game to me and I can't wait for the sequel

Bulletstorm is just my own favorite FPS game of All time! It took my heart when I was 13 years old, when my dad bought it for me after I graduated with a B+ in 8th grade as a prize for my high score. I am a person that is incredibly easy to impress so I didn't see much bad stuff in the game even now that i know so much about video games (I sometimes even call myself a video game critic but that's just my fantasy). Although the game was incredible I won't be able to find a shooter that would take it's place soon.

I live in Bulgaria so I don't really know how other countries you get final grades but here the grades of your whole school year are taken in to one number - then divided by some number that i dont remember and the number you get is the one you have for the year. So in my country the grades are 2-3-4-5-6 (2 is the lowest grade and means Fail - 6 is the highest and means ''Excellent'') I got a 5,67 for the whole year which is counted as a 6 but is made in a 5+ format. Still it equals 6 Sorry for the history lesson for Bulgarian school grades - I tend to make huge and complicated without any means of it. x)

Bought it for 7 bucks on switch, i was suprised how well it worked fps games on switch sometimes look absolutely terrible, so i was suprised how great this game looked in handheld i could only wish that it was longer. Great game though!
this will always be one of my favorite shooters. despite it not getting the recognition of big AAA titles, the way this game adds creativity to killing in a way gives it a uniqueness that you just don't see in shooters. it's kinda the shooter equivalent of madworld. I love the overkill mode (that's what the all weapons mode is called), it's the one thing I always wanted in the game.

Messing around with the leash and kick in each level is always a blast, and (spoilers) controlling the giant Godzilla-like robot never gets old. That being said, $60 is way too much money for a simple remaster. It doesn't look all that different from when it first dropped, and they didn't add anything *that* new. Will definitely pick it up when it's closer to $20 though!
There were HD releases for both transformers games you mentioned, but only just a few months ago, there was a licensing issue and all transformers games were pulled off PSN and I was so mad because I didn't have money at the time to buy them before they got taken off
Loved it back in 2011, I got into PC gaming a few years back and was very pleased when I found out they had a PC version. Still one of my faves and I play it every once in awhile.
I think saying that paying $60 for a 7~8 hours campaign is asking a bit too much. Totally agree there. However, this still applies to every other game too, not only this one because it is a remaster. Resident Evil 7 also offers a 7~8 campaign, which other than going for 100% of the achievements/trophies won't offer you replayable value. I believe the enternainment hours a game can provide is a solid excuse not to buy a game at full price on release regardless of how good it could be. RE7 was really short but still got recommended a lot at full pricebecause it is a good game. (note that I'm only using RE7 because it is a recent game that falls into the topic)

I love bulletstorm. But. Fps is very bad, price is very bad, making Duke Nukem as a paid dlc or a pre order bonus is like a nail in the coffin. I bought it to support the development of Bulletstorm 2, but honestly is is hard to recommend to anybody until the price drops.
I pre ordered this game on the 360 and again on the Xbox one. And then picked it up the day it dropped on the switch. I’d say “I don’t know why I love this game so damn much!” But I’m well aware. It’s the part where the gigantic cog is tearing through the background while your on the platform. That level is hands down, top 5 greatest gaming moments of all time for me.

Gonna play again of course for free. Down load time 12 mins give or take space 24 GB full clip. PS4 gonna smash it after i have picked all the kids up from school its almost 8 years old. My older kids will get a kick out of it watchimg me play it again on full wall paper screen. Bass up treble up light off and mountain dew and cheetos are a must.
Love how the main character is voiced by Steve blum and looks like wolverine. And he doesn’t pick up healthy backs... he regenerates health. They knew what they were doing

I was super disapointed in the $60 price tag. If it was half price I would of bought it immediately. Only way ill buy now if I get it for under 30$. Loved this game back in the day on the X360! I seemed to be the only one who bought it at my school. I remember a girl in my class was really into the Gears of War franchise and we talked about this game. A friend of mine was in love with her and I lent her my copy of the game just to make my friend jealous. Good times.
I bought this game second hand for about 10 quid way back 2012 ish Totally loved it! Played it through 3 times then sold it back to CEX. Darn me if I didn’t buy it again when I spotted it 2 years ago and now I still play it when I’m between new games and it still rocks!
I have played this on PS3 (still have it actually) and it's a really fun game, I enjoyed it a lot and I couldn't stop playing once I started. It does have some really childish immature humor, but the chaotic gameplay and discovering all the hilarious skillshots you can perform more than makes up for it. If you're one of those people that can tolerate mindless over the top games like this or you actually love games that go all in with fun and say screw everything else, then this is a must a own for you. I can almost guarantee you'll get hooked if you enjoy games like Shadow Warrior, DOOM, Hard Reset, Serious Sam, RAGE, Borderlands, and others like it.
Im double dipping, i got the game on release and immediately fell in love back in 2011 , 6 years later and we get a remaster rather than a sequel , yes they brought back a great game that had me flinging enemies into spikes and enjoying the saddistic anarchism but this game had so much potential to mive forward , i bought it for sale price this year , worth the $15 sale price i paid not $60
To be honest, it is worth to buy. I played it from Day 1 back in 2011 when it got released and I really enjoyed it. I didn't played any other games for like a whole year, I think, because of the achievements I could get, but also because I liked the gameplay, the style and story of the game. It's just sad it didn't really sold out, but it's still a good game. I really wanted a sequel for this game, actually.
Absolutely loved the campaign back in 2012 when i bought it for 360.0 While i own a Every platform, consoles are my consoles are just for the console exclusives now that I've switched Primarily to PC. I'd love to play this game again, however the price is way to steam. The campaign was so much fun and would love to play it again. The only thing is it has to drop below $19.99 That would be a better price for this game. It appears the textures to be the same when looking at comparison videos just added some HDR toning to the texture to make the crevices pop out more to appear more detailed. When it comes down way down in price I'll buy it on PC.
This game had one of the best trailers of all time, a really funny parody of Call of Duty. I still remember my first time playing it and I'm glad it's getting a second chance, I hope it works out and we can have a sequel eventually, because this game is so much fun.

I originally bought this game for 360 for the gears of war 3 beta that was being given away with it..and decided to give it a try considering i bought it.. and fell on love with it! So good and hilarious.. i will be buying it just not at full price
I've played in 2011 and I will definitely play it again! So many great games get tossed under the rug these days and it is nice to see a game being remembered like that.
Regardless of the fact that it only came out a couple of years ago, i paid for it again full price, and I'm having a fucking blast. Sure it doesn't last for ever, but it's such a fun campaign. The Overkill mode that unlocks after you complete the game (which gives infinite ammo and lets you carry every weapon at once) is an awesome feature i don't remember it having in the original. The multiplayer co-op while no where near what you should expect this gen, is great fun with a friend for a bit, and is just an awesome bonus if anything. I'm enjoying every second of this game all over again.
Remy Blas They might look somewhat similar but they feel and play completely different. Bulletstorm is incredibly linear with small tight levels that just go in one direction pretty much and it has no jump button so it feels much slower and more like a standard shooter than doom.
Jeez, people, I'm not saying they're exactly the same, I'm saying it has some similarities (the variety of weapons, the violent takedowns, the graphic style, the fast pace, the monsters, etc) and with DOOM being the huge thing that it is, and this last DOOM being so successful recently, I would have probably mentioned it while comparing Bulletstorm to other games like they did here.

Came here because it's on sale for about $6 on PSN. I bought it due to its seeming cult following, and because I loved Shadow Warrior 2 which this game looks/sounds pretty similar to in style and gameplay. I'll edit my comment with my thoughts on the game once it's installed!

Bulletstorm was WAY slept on. It was a lot of fun. Fun physics, great combat, cheesy humor old-school style shooter.

I pre ordered this game on the 360 and again on the Xbox one. And then picked it up the day it dropped on the switch. I’d say “I don’t know why I love this game so damn much!” But I’m well aware. It’s the part where the gigantic cog is tearing through the background while your on the platform. That level is hands down, top 5 greatest gaming moments of all time for me.

I actually spent me hard earned money to buy this in 2011...best decision of my life. I had a lot of fun playing this game and I'm glad that they brought it back.

Bullet storm is an awesome game.
Gonna play again of course for free. Down load time 12 mins give or take space 24 GB full clip. PS4 gonna smash it after i have picked all the kids up from school its almost 8 years old. My older kids will get a kick out of it watchimg me play it again on full wall paper screen. Bass up treble up light off and mountain dew and cheetos are a must.

Love how the main character is voiced by Steve blum and looks like wolverine. And he doesn’t pick up healthy backs... he regenerates health. They knew what they were doing

Played on Xbox 360 and wanted a remaster ever since. I absolutely loved it on 360 just the pure fun and slow motion kills are awesome!
My big issue is the price for remaster. I was super disapointed in the $60 price tag. If it was half price I would of bought it immediately. Only way ill buy now if I get it for under 30$. Its worth 30$ but 60$ for a remastered game that is over 4 years old? no way

Loved this game back in the day on the X360! I seemed to be the only one who bought it at my school. I remember a girl in my class was really into the Gears of War franchise and we talked about this game. A friend of mine was in love with her and I lent her my copy of the game just to make my friend jealous. Good times.

I have played this on PS3 (still have it actually) and it's a really fun game, I enjoyed it a lot and I couldn't stop playing once I started. It does have some really childish immature humor, but the chaotic gameplay and discovering all the hilarious skillshots you can perform more than makes up for it. If you're one of those people that can tolerate mindless over the top games like this or you actually love games that go all in with fun and say screw everything else, then this is a must a own for you. I can almost guarantee you'll get hooked if you enjoy games like Shadow Warrior, DOOM, Hard Reset, Serious Sam, RAGE, Borderlands, and others like it.

Im double dipping, i got the game on release and immediately fell in love back in 2011 , 6 years later and we get a remaster rather than a sequel , yes they brought back a great game that had me flinging enemies into spikes and enjoying the saddistic anarchism but this game had so much potential to mive forward , i bought it for sale price this year , worth the $15 sale price i paid not $60

To be honest, it is worth to buy. I played it from Day 1 back in 2011 when it got released and I really enjoyed it. I didn't played any other games for like a whole year, I think, because of the achievements I could get, but also because I liked the gameplay, the style and story of the game.
It's just sad it didn't really sold out, but it's still a good game. I really wanted a sequel for this game, actually.

Absolutely loved the campaign back in 2012 when i bought it for 360.0 While i own a Every platform, consoles are my consoles are just for the console exclusives now that I've switched Primarily to PC. I'd love to play this game again, however the price is way to steam. The campaign was so much fun and would love to play it again. The only thing is it has to drop below $19.99 That would be a better price for this game. It appears the textures to be the same when looking at comparison videos just added some HDR toning to the texture to make the crevices pop out more to appear more detailed. When it comes down way down in price I'll buy it on PC.
This game had one of the best trailers of all time, a really funny parody of Call of Duty. I still remember my first time playing it and I'm glad it's getting a second chance, I hope it works out and we can have a sequel eventually, because this game is so much fun.

Picked it up in 2021 on a steam sale for like $3.99. It's well worth the revisit for that price. The gameplay is just an absolute blast!
The gameplay reminds me of a DOOM 2016 and Destiny mix. Can't go wrong there!

Regardless of the fact that it only came out a couple of years ago, i paid for it again full price, and I'm having a fucking blast. Sure it doesn't last for ever, but it's such a fun campaign. The Overkill mode that unlocks after you complete the game (which gives infinite ammo and lets you carry every weapon at once) is an awesome feature i don't remember it having in the original. The multiplayer co-op while no where near what you should expect this gen, is great fun with a friend for a bit, and is just an awesome bonus if anything. I'm enjoying every second of this game all over again.
I'm surprised you didn't compare it to the last DOOM considering how insanely similar they are in some aspects.
Remy Blas They might look somewhat similar but they feel and play completely different. Bulletstorm is incredibly linear with small tight levels that just go in one direction pretty much and it has no jump button so it feels much slower and more like a standard shooter than doom.

Jeez, people, I'm not saying they're exactly the same, I'm saying it has some similarities (the variety of weapons, the violent takedowns, the graphic style, the fast pace, the monsters, etc) and with DOOM being the huge thing that it is, and this last DOOM being so successful recently, I would have probably mentioned it while comparing Bulletstorm to other games like they did here.

Came here because it's on sale for about $6 on PSN. I bought it due to its seeming cult following, and because I loved Shadow Warrior 2 which this game looks/sounds pretty similar to in style and gameplay. I'll edit my comment with my thoughts on the game once it's installed!
