Holy crap, I didn't know this Tyler was an Orange guy! First time I heard of Tyler Bryant was in 2016 in Dallas at American Airlines opening for AC/DC. Of course I went home recovering from severe ear trauma and was gushing about how awesome AC/DC were, but I never forgot how awesome "those opening act guys" were and afterwards I looked them up on TH-cam and been a fan ever since, and as a fellow "Orange Rocker" is I like to call myself (cringe I know XD) This is just an awesome discovery for me lol
So do I Tyler :) Dual terror is my weapon. It was a shame they had no spring reverb back then. 1x12 orange half open cab with celeston green back. Yes I cut up an orange cab and repaced the speaker. Honestly try cutting 3" slots in the backing of the cab it adds so much warmth. Orange if you read this here is my quote for the day: "For the love of rock watch your tone" 😂 But seriously try either 2x10s cream backs or the 1x12 green back and slotted back design it sounds fantastic.
So funny, I was listening to a Fender amp demo, and this blows it out of the water for the blues tone. Like, this isn't even funny how much cooler and better this sounds over the fender
I've used a lot of amps from Marshall to Peavey but have never loved any as much as the Orange amp CR120 I'm playing now. Even though Orange seems to be famous for their dirty tone it's the clean channel that really impresses me so much.
Fender amps haven't sounded good in a long time. After buying selling buying selling amp after amp I haven't found a fender amp I like in 20 years. Orange on the other hand... Love at first strum. I'm sticking with my Crush until I can justify the TremLord
I see Tyler is using the 120 watt 2x12 V cab with a 100 watt head. Is this a safe combination? Could the head blow the cab and will the cab still sound good since it would be operating at it’s near capacity? Would the 50 watt head be a better/safer option? Thanks.
You'd be good. The speakers are rated for higher than 100 watts in a 2x12. Plus you'll never. Crank the volume with high gain loud enough. Unless maybe you're playing a stadium. But then you can grab a few 4x12s

This is the best sounding amp on the market.. It’s literally plug and play and you can’t get a bad tone. The grind on this clean channel is amazing.
Marshall JTM45/2245 sounds better!
