I appreciate the multilingual capabilities of the second watch. It’s good to have the day of the week in my language, as I always have to think a little when I see them in English.
Apparently not a very popular watch, local store was selling these for 10 bucks each, I purchased three of them, only one working yet left. I think it still works.
I've had the silver one for at least 3 years and the black one for even longer and both seem to be working well. They might have been faulty ones or non genuine ones
The new databanks are nothing compared to the original DBCs. The schedule feature was amazing that you could program a message and alarm that would scroll across the screen like a stock market ticker. That as well timer, world timer stop watch as well as phone number bank (something when your iPhone battery dies). It was an awesome bit of kit.
It's a design classic that I wish a company like Fitbit would team up with Casio and make a retro watch but with some of the modern features of a smart watch
The buttons on both are fairly easy to press. You have to try and get them with tour nail if you can. The music is called Seiko's Theme th-cam.com/video/J-HmChB9he4/w-d-xo.html
It annoys the hell out of me that the regular calculator watch is described as a databank. As a child of the ‘80s, well aware of the splendor of the countless true Databank models of my youth, I find this terribly upsetting.
An up date on the water resistance. It's not officially water resistant but in the summer i went snorkeling in the caribbean sea and forgot to take it off till I'd already dived in. Still works fine tho. Wouldn't suggest that its a good idea to get it wet but you should be fine as long as it doesn't get too wet.
Officially it can't go in the water but I jumped off a boat into the sea with it on by accident and it was fine. However, it didn't go very far under the water and it wasn't in the water for long. My advice would be to keep it out of the water

They are amazing miracles of miniaturisation. I love them and wear mine every day and they do just look great
I agree! Nothing looks as cool as a Casio!

what a beautiful era we crossed.. the 80s and 90s
As far as consumers electronics it was definitely a fantastic era for design when everything just went a bit mental
Only CASIO SOLAR CALCULATOR watches are real. True vintage beauties. The elite of Casio Calculator. Also the VOICE RECORDER CALCULATOR. True elite
My Favorite Version of Calculator Watch is the Casio DBC 150 Model
nice video, remind me my childhood
Good to hear!
Are the buttons easy to press on the silver one?
13:22 What's the background song name?

@@TheRedCassette02 Cool!! I'm trying to get the silver one, it's so 80s. Thank you very much!
They're fantastic. Very pricey nowerdays unfortunately

It's poor branding. I wouldn't hurt to put the feature on the newer watches
Cat, Dog, & mother !! (LOL)

@@TheRedCassette02 i like that watch
Is it waterproof?
Neither are but the black one is water resistant. However I've been in the sea with the silver one on and it was fine. I wouldn't recommend it though
@@TheRedCassette02 thankyou .
@@TheRedCassette02 When it rains or wash your hands, will there be a problem?
Probably not. You'll be alright just don't recommend anymore than that
@@TheRedCassette02 Ok thankyou vary much ♥️
Does anyone know how deep this watch can go in water with out breaking?
