@@bibby42 So if someone is kidnapped or enslaved, for example, they should just be complacent? Because... if they get angry, they may decide to break free? And that's wrong? Emotions are just emotions and serve a purpose. Is pain "evil" because it hurts? No, it serves a purpose. Without pain, we'd all live short lives blissfully unaware of what was ailing us. Anger is a motivational emotion. You can be quick or slow to anger over superficial or profound things and choose to react violently, righteously or not at all; it's all human decision.
@Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV Not having anger does not mean be submissive to being "kidnapped or enslaved." Look around you, what good has anger ever done? Anger is used to manipulate people into doing the bidding of evil. If you don't let your emotions control you, you'll be able to discern the difference between good and evil. Pain is not an emotion. We physically feel things to ensure we try to stay healthy. Similar to foods you may be allergic to, the smell of them you may find repulsive, that's to ensure you don't eat them and become sick, and/ or possibly die. Emotions are supposed to be overcome, not used.

I believe Zach is a genuine dude. He quit rage around 2000. He didn't want to continue. He easily could of cashed in for decades. The guys lyrics are way to truthful. He didn't sell out, he was on a independent label. Being on a major label allowed them to promote there message to a much larger audience.. Take the message guys, leave the messenger. We can't touch this guy or his band in a million years. An people are dissing cuz he lives in a big house an was on a major record label. That doesn't mean his message is any less important.

AMEN! WE NEED MORE ZACH de la Rocha's in THIS F'D UP WORLD! NOW!!
Tom Morello is a diva though. Zack I’m cool with because he literally places lyrical intelligence and actual issues that he saw first hand. Most if not all lyrics he wrote was personal and thought provoking. Even as a right wing voter I appreciate Rage for doing research in lyricism.
@@isaacmontoya9636 Tom Morrello is a diva how? He was in a local pub near me on Tuesday doing open mic to 30 people, not diva behaviour at all
@@circlemagazine he expected a coffee shop to give him first line accommodation as if his rock stardom was gonna get him to cut to the front. Plus he’s a talker, which is ironic since Zach is the one with the voice in the band. The only non diva thing he did was have a sit down with Ted Nugent even though they both had different view points, so fine I humbly take back the diva comment, I just think he’s annoying for certain reasons. But hey man don’t try to infiltrate my mind to seek reasons why I would call him an insult or a name of some sort. I feel the way I feel and if I meet him one day I may change my views but until then I’m just a typical hater. You feel differently about him, you’re a fan, awesome stay that way and don’t let anyone try to change your viewpoints so don’t try to change mine
Been in the US for less than a week, and the first thing I noticed about the system here is exactly what Zack said. The neverending search for money has left the majority of the population swapping money amongst themselves whilst the super wealthy have the means to accumulate more at the expense of the masses
My family came here broke many years ago just like thousands of others and we all made great lives for ourselves. If a person doesn't like USA they can leave and no one will stop them and millions will replace them.
Welcome to US! Can you do better? Wanna try China or Cuba?
Unfortunately, yeah. That's about how it works. Person to person, though, it's generally fairly chill. There is an alarming amount of idiots and needlessly violent people, but they're still technically the minority. Well, the latter is, anyway.
@@makas63 sure you can do better. What makes you think that the US is so fuckin' great and so fuckin' better than any Western European democracy? Because it's richer? Because it invades Iraq to plunder their oil pits? Wake the fuck up bro. Open your eyes. Yeah, it's better to live on your comfortable little lies. Keep that brain dead and that mouth shut.
Whole world or nearly the whole world is chasing money.. Not that it's good but money has this world in its grip
As someone who was in my late teens during the Vietnam War demonstrations (which ended the war) , I see now we need to find a way to move another big step forward. Recognition of the power of the system and then disengaging from supporting it is an immense life- long task.
What Zach was feeling then is exactly how I feel now. But at that time, I was too young to understand what he was saying in his music and now it's time for me to replay all his albums and study his songs for my personal representation of freedom of mind in escape of reality and pain ❗💯🇲🇽🤔👹🌎💵

@@varelmarais2222 Anger is evil.

It's so hard to watch a country that needs help, but doesn't have enough people in it to care or stand up to it all. There's just too much hate and divides between people within it.
