Move, but without increasing pain Ice pack, 20 min Tighten stomach muscles before any movement Limit turning and bending Avoid heating pads Avoid sitting Avoid lifting
A doctor just looked at my recent mri..said I have a kink in my back severe stenosis, facet arthopathy, tear in disc, two bulging discs. I had fusion in l for and five which made my third and fifth worse.
What if firing your core is excruciating. I cant even get a deep breath. the heating pad was a bad idea. getting up from a seated position is knee buckling
note: english not my main language i got this back problem because of work that involves picking heavy boxes and standing up for many hours, envery time i pick something even light or somewhat heavy, i got this pain or feeling weird thing on my back, even when i brush my teeth o doing the dishes what i do is i take hot shower then i massage my back, i walk a little bit and doing soft strech, thanks for the video, hope i will try the pdf excersice
i notice movement helps ,, siting and Getting tense while sitting makes it worse.. Keeping calm is another good thing and don't lift anything heavy like my dumbass

Thank you, I should know all this stuff, I’ve had numerous episodes! I spasmed mine this morning doing my rotator cuff repair exercises!
I fell asleep last night with a heating pad on my back and this morning I nearly passed out from the spasm pain. I wish I had seen this first.
I have spasms too.
So hard to deal with. I have about six diagnoses

I thought using heat was better than ice 🤔
I find ice super helpful but not such a fan in winter.
