The double gold ring you said was weird is a scarf ring! You pull the scarf thru the ring around your neck.
I've got tons of that 70s costume jewelry. I ought to send u some. THAT DOUBLE SIDED FLOWER AND PEARL CLIP IS FOR YOUR SWEATER TO KEEP IT AROUND YOUR SHOULDERS. I KNOW YOU HAVE SEEN THAT IN OLDER MAGAZINE AND MOVIES.
Vintage doll doesn’t have that glass gold metal jewelry box. It doesn’t come up when I searched on their shop.
I have my grandmas jewelry box. She loved her necklaces, broaches and earrings. Some of it looks very, very old that could of been from her mother as well like early 1900s. I only wear one of her necklaces but anything else I am scared to touch and I like to just look at it. I love to do a shadow box or a shelf displaying her collection.

I've seen some pretty interesting ways to display vintage jewelry. I love the ones where the jewelry is arranged in a shape, for example a Flower, Christmas tree or even an initial..placed onto a velvet background & displayed in a deep glass frame. I don't know if explained that right but maybe try searching youtube for vintage jewelry display ideas..they really are beautiful..espically the Christmas tree ones...
I adore the Avon necklaces, especially the ones with the solid perfume. Reminds me of being a little girl and getting into all my Omas costume jewelry. I work with lots of this type of costume jewelry. I can tell you that there isn't anything there that is any older than the 70s. Also some of that is new made to look older. True vintage and old costume jewelry was made better, it wasn't mass produced. There isn't a ton that is around. It's a super cute collection. The Fernando bow necklace is probably worth around 15$. Again, it's a nice collection, the point is that you love these things and you can pass them on. Collecting isn't about the dollar amount. It's about the love of the jewelry, and the bygone era. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have my mother's vintage 1950's jewlery box. It is blue with a design a space for rings and a drawer. I also have all her vintage jewelry. A couple of weeks ago I came across an Estate Sale. I didn't go for jewelry, but you would have been in jewelry heaven. I did but y one piece. A Bakelite bracelet in a kind of peachy pink color. I have that same lipstick holder you have on your vanity. My father brought my mother a beautiful box from France he thought was a jewlery box. After the internet and research we found out it was a powder box

It’s sooooo easy to make solid perfume! U can either melt down a bit of oil like grape seed or almond oil with beeswax and add some of ur fav liquid perfume in once it begins to cool or create ur own fragrance with essential oils. I do both.
My grandmother has that cat family brooch with the dangly tails and emerald eyes! 😍

Oooo I love your collection. I have a much smaller collection. I have several cameo necklaces, brooches, earrings, and a few purses from 1940-1950. I have one beaded clutch from the 1920’s, but a small spot of the fabric and beading ripped. Idk how to go about trying to find someone to possibly repair it. It’s so beautiful and just sitting, wrapped up in a vanity drawer.

I recently found your videos. I'm currently awaiting open heart surgery at 32 due to aneurysm and birth defect I never knew I had. I've been very anxious and blue as I had to slow way down and currently can't work. Watching your videos brings back memories of going through my mother's jewelry box with her as a child, and how special it was learning how old everything was, if items were passed down in our family, etc. The background music is so calming and it's helped me relax and enjoy this flood of memories. ❤

You could clip the earrings onto collars or shoes if they’re too uncomfortable for you ears. This was really relaxing to watch, thank you!

I had the same jewelry box in pink as a child. It was 1980s. I love the old Avon solid purfume!
Cute collection! I think that gold tone double ring thing is a scarf slide. You wear the scarf around your neck and pull the ends through the rings. I believe there's a particular way to put the scarf through so it doesn't just slide off. To fix the blemish on the box lid you could glue a jewel on it from a piece of jewelry if you want.

I have a little bit of knowledge of jewelry and brooches and I think a few of those are reproductions made when there was a brooch resurgence in the 1980’s thanks to Aaron Spelling and his tv shows. They may have been based on the look of some from past decades but were actually produced in the 1980’s. But they are still adorable either and I have quite a few myself.

With single clip-ons, you can use them as brooches or even hair clips. I used one the other day in my hair and put in a bobby pin to keep it from sliding out.

Yes...hearing all the jewelry hit the glass hurts the ears and maybe, the jewelry! Lining helps to preserve it all.

Your vintage jewelry is wonderful! I have the locket with the little blue flower cameo on it at 13:17. There is a picture of me and my first baby inside. My husband bought it for me in the early 70s. I used to have a lot of Avon jewelry but when downsizing I sold it. And I sold it inside two almost brand new Caboodles jewelry boxes - a pink one and a blue one. They were lined with pink and blue velvet-like material inside with little swing out trays. I do wish I would have kept them and the jewelry. In the 60s my sister used to take clip earrings and clip them to the top of plain high heels to dress them up a bit. Sounds odd, but it looked really nice. I enjoyed this video. I had a ballerina jewelry box as a kid in the 1960's. They used to be common, I guess from the 1950's to 1970 or so. No idea what the resale price could be, though.

I'm not an expert but I have bought , sold and handled a lot of jewelry. And have a ton myself. Some stuff you think is 50's is more 80's. And I see some 50's or older that you don't think is special but is collectable.. I think you have some Julianna" broochs. You really should do some research. You might have some that could bring good $ if you sold it.Or has more value than you think But I see lot of 1980's stuff that you think is Edwardian. As I said... do some research. As a collector it could benefit you.
