Ah Sacramento Pd ..the corrupt department that loved to mis-calibrate their radar guns... and then accuse you of speeding... makes it all the more sweeter when you offer up dashcam footage to avoid the hassle and their ego kicks in... only to slap them with expense (travel , legal , time ) for their ignorance...
      *edit*
i live in the los Angeles county area... imagine having to travel up to Sacramento to defend yourself in court because a cops ego wouldn't allow them to drop it and admit they lied or they were wrong

What is the Brady List? - Law Office of William J. Barabino
      www.williambarabino.com/blog/2021/03/06/what-is-the-brady-list/
Brady Lists reduce the credibility of officers because they are public records. This means that anyone can access a Brady List and see if an officer has a history of exceeding their authority. An officer on a Brady List often, but not always, resigns or otherwise stops being a police officer.

Not at all. That's why California has a separate prison for convicted cops. And internal affairs units justify funding for themselves by nailing cops for law and policy violations. (public records of IA files show the complaint, rank of accused, finding of guilty, not guilty, sustained, unfounded etc AND the disposition (suspended, reprimand, terminated, etc). Depts spend lots of resources riding herd on officers so as to punish perceived discrediting of the dept and especially toward the chief who doesn't want to lose his political position for some Gomer Pyle or criminal officer. This is why women should have never been given a gun and a badge. The problem is that women do not know HOW to handle power. They were not designed to rule or to have authority over any man. They can’t even defend themselves against an assailant without a gun and several male officers backing them up at any given moment. It’s pointless for them to be cops. Women were created to serve, not rule. Now we’ve come to find out that she had plans to make chief of police ? That’s laughable. But it makes complete sense. The collective mindset of Californias extreme leftist ideology plays out in every facet of its society. Corrupt police, feminism, political agendas, ANTIFA, broken families, high crime, high poverty, high taxes, the list goes on and on. She didn’t want to work her way up, she depended on her gender alone to get her the respect, integrity and status she THOUGHT she deserved. Actually it's just the opposit. I've been to many court trials. I've also charged cops. And seen internal affairs work. Departmentally there is officially no presumotion of innocence, no standard on what is due process for the cop. If charged criminally, THEN they have constitutional due process. Often they are suspended WITH PAY because labor law prevents some punishment before they have been FOUND guilty of anything. Without pay suspension could be a wrong against the officer even if he's guilty of other wrongs. Dept discipline does not require fairness or standards most people see on tv and movies. The system isn't perfect. Bad guys and bad cops slip through the cracks. But overall, cops are treated much more poorly than any citizen. Cops motives generally are to make their community a better place. Criminals motives are to get what they can for themselves. Sometimes people fail to see the other side through any lens but their own beliefs.

It shows the rank of complaining officer, or civilian, the accusation, the rank or position of the employee, the finding, and the discipline imposed (suspension, reprimand , termination, etc). If it's criminal charges, it depends on the dept whether IA investigates, or the usual criminal investigators. That's why i investigated officers from time to time. But I wasn't IA. Cops don't like other cops making their jobs and careers into a problem. Chiefs don't risk their careers, reputation, job, for a rogue officer. There are court decisions on discipline, job rights, etc. And employment contract issues. Civilian review is bad too, in the same way i could not review performance of a plumber or a doctor fairly.

Like the Judge says. Don't make up your preconceived notion until all of the evidence is presented. Somebody may have set up somebody, know what I mean? Of course you do.

Wonder who taught her how to exaggerate and stretch the facts in her creative report writing and if she made the fatal error of saying sorry, I just I don't feel that way about you. Sir.

The only way to hold cops accountable is have a full investigation into their actions every time they arrest anyone and remove qualified immunity to hold them personally accountable.

Let her have her day in court before people judge her? I think those who were wrongfully arrested who didn't get that courtesy would think differently.

Two out of the 3 traffic tickets I have received have had some type of falsification. I've written one complaint--nothing was done. When I challenged 1 of the tickets in traffic court, the officer flat out lied about the stop.

This is literally the first time I've heard of a cop being arrested for falsifying information. In depth looks usually overlook that as if there was no punishment.

She's probably a political rival of the chiefs , and nothing will happen to her, ( perhaps a slap on the risk)- and she'll go right back to work as a police officer with full pay and benefits...in the mean time she's no longer a political threat to the chief. Nice and neat right? And police officers go right on writing false reports and making false statements, and being serial killers....
