I love this type of sparring ! 2 completely different styles. I could clearly see myself in the in-fighter, I learned a lot from this video also thanks to you including the coaches tips during the breaks. I would definitely like to see more from these guys, both of them are sick !
Good work from both of em!! Kudos to the taller dude. Thats a small ring and it looks hard to move around, but he’s keeping his head on his shoulders despite the pressure!
When the taller fighter has both hands down they are baiting you to throw a straight punch. Because their arms are so long they can just come over your straight punches. Here it is very important to use feints and hooks.
This is a great spar between two completely opposite styles . No one likes fighters who dance around avoiding pressure fighters but this was a very even display of punches that landed
Not sure how you’re doing in boxing rn (if you are) but i assure you that anyone will get better with each sparring or fight. I’ve learned a lot from my 2nd and so on spars but i really sucked on my first spar and i didn’t know what to do so i got punched a lot. but over time I’ve developed and trained a lot and have gotten better. Good luck!
v. good coach. Have you thought about doing a video on circling? Pretty much everyone in this gym seems to move left 90%+ of the time. Obviously, there are pros and cons. The cons being that you walk into a few right hands.
I box almost the same style with the pressure fighter and i am very familiar with his head and foot movement therefore i think my advices will be accurate. The most apparent mistake he does is letting his guard down, usually his left hand. Especially against an opponent who is taller. This will make his style even more close to peek-a-boo but will be much efficient and protective. His slips, movement and control with left jab in the corners look on point, nothing to say about those.
He is also very creative as a pressure fighter I would just add his jabs needs to be mixed up more between working the jab up and down but also touching using it just to touch gloves or shoulder
As a short fighter you can leave your punches extended out when the taller fighter rises up he will come over your jab. The shorter fighter jab as to be diverse straight jab, up jab, body jab, touch jab etc
Wow good sparring session.. i love it !! Pressure figther forever..but it seems to me, when he put him on the rope he s not enough confident to continue to close the distance and hit body head body head etc etc..
Coming from an MMA gym its weird seeing boxers spar. Everyone gathers around, coach is yelling tips, and they're throwing hard shots. Its more like a smoker than a sparring session lol
This was a microcycle of 2/3 weeks out from the fight. So sparring was at 90-95%, speed, power and accuracy were the priority... training solely for performance.

Is it good for a boxer to have to styles am a slick boxer is it better to keep your original style or have both be slick and pressure fghter and if so with style is it best for a slick boxer ) brawler, pressure etc
all 3 slick(counter punchng) for out fighting pressure to get on the inside and brawler for when youre in the pocket throw in some defensive tactics also (slipping punches while pressuring, learning how to fight n counter off the back foot and head movement)
that's great work from both guys, just when I thought the shorter guy figured him out the slick guy hit some mean counters in that 3rd round. Eb's and flows when guys are at similar levels, its who maintains discipline and focus that gets it. definitely great control from both , so easy to go full fight mode when it gets spicy.
I like Nick’s style, always on the move. That’s my cup of tea a slick and smart fighter that work behind his jab.

This was a great intensity level to spar at. Intense yet controlled! great work guys.
THAT WAS BOTH GREAT WORK AND COACHING! SLIPPING UNDER CONTROL AND KEEPING CALM!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Both are very efficient in their style and had great control. This was some good work.

what a nice fight to watch better than some professional fights on TV. The defense at 5:50 was sick
I've seen Infighter Vs Outfighter but What about a Slugger vs Counter-puncher like that whould be cool
Good work from both of em!! Kudos to the taller dude. Thats a small ring and it looks hard to move around, but he’s keeping his head on his shoulders despite the pressure!
Love how you guys are given them hints.
Good sparring
A classic battle between two different boxing styles (stylist vs swarmer)
I love the tactical aggression of pressure fighting, cutting off the ring and outsmarting your opponent while walking em down
love this sparring, serious but fun, calm but intense.
Nice video and excelent sparring footage, looks like a pretty good school man
Great watch ,,, completely different styles made for a nice bit of sparring,,, both fellas have great gas tanks too , set a very good pace 👍

Pressure boxer needs more defensive footwork.
Slick boxer needs more balance.
Both are great amateur boxers!
These 2 are so well matched
Super slick sparring❤!
Both amazing fighters respect
That ring is *very* small... must be tough to work slick in that gym!
puttin in some good work right there. good job guys

bel lavoro ragazzi!!! stupendo sparring, fatto con tecnica ed educazione!!!
I'm getting good at being slick but my offense sucks
Keep practicing
@@Charlessalbox i really appreciate it

Great video
Thanks TYang!
Awww man THIS was a good show by both of them
One crucial advice I would give to the black-gloves fighter: buy a better mouthpiece

Is it good for a boxer to have to styles am a slick boxer is it better to keep your original style or have both be slick and pressure fghter and if so with style is it best for a slick boxer ) brawler, pressure etc
There is a fundamental technique that goes into any style... this should be your focus in the beginning. brawler, pressure and slick are more tactics.
