Mannn this is EXACTLY how sparring should be. Everyone is there to learn, I bet not a single one went home with headaches because everyone kept it around 60% power. LOVE IT GUYS
I really appreciate humans like the pro here. I first started boxing in a gym a little over 3 years back, and I was working with soviet style boxing stances, totally self-taught. Then one day this mountain of a Russian I always saw there walks up and says "You are doing this not so great, I will help." Fast-forward, that giant Russian guy fuckin got me doing amateur fights last year. I only had 3 fights, but I don't think I woulda done it without someone being so helpful and encouraging.
Woooow! That was really good! Man the self taught boxer did really well. Of course the pro too. That was impressive. Makes me feel ashamed of my technique
They did great. I do Soviet style and I’ve had my fair share of competive matches but these self taught dudes def changed my mind about this whole self taught thing
Self taught? I’m self taught from watching YT boxing coaches and this guy does every fundamental they teach wrong. Brings feet together when moving, crosses feet while moving, drops hand after swinging and more.
@ that’s not exactly true. It’s common that it happens tho. But it’s possible to keep them from getting too close together. When you move your lead foot 5 inches you move your following foot five inches. Like you’ve got a board in between your ankles
@ you know after I commented I realized I was just being picky. The guy was in an actual fight not practicing fundamentals. Things change when you’re actually up against someone. My bad
@@GoodieWithaHoodie if u think your feet shouldn’t come together when doing lateral movement then spar someone and see how well it is too move side to side with ur feet apart horizontally.
Good education which is what sparring is... It isn't a fight, it's there to show you where to improve and increase that IQ. I like the fact that Omar switched up defense styles to throw off the next opponent who watched and came up with a gameplan.
Man, wish i could box like that, i live in south america and...boxing bags are terribly expensive, also, i'm afraid of getting robbed if i go outside to even jog lol, anyways i'm trailing off, i really like your style Omar, your timing and technique is great and i really enjoy each of this videos, as well as your fights, keep the great work Champ! (I arrived 2 days late)
The difference in the leg strength and stability between the pro and self taught guys is noticeable. The self taught's need to focus on foot work and squaring their stances up a bit. This is why the pro guy can move more dynamically and throw with more power. He isn't all stretch out and off balance. You don't want to be reaching with a punch, you want it to be a twist.
The only thing I've noticed is that pro needs to protect his head better, there's a concerning amount of hits to the head, though it could be just lack of experience with these specific gloves and helmet, making it easier to hit than he's used to. However, those body shots were so good, made me miss my club even more
Only thing I could see (I am very new to this, so I'm most likely wrong) is Pedro was skittish and scared to commit with a few of his punches. He would throw out a jab but very shakily stop and pull it back. I don't know if he saw something I didn't, but I would have been more aggressive. He did great though and would still kick my ass lol. Edit: I was pausing the video and mimicking the coaching instructions everytime he gave them, just to see if I was making the same mistakes! He's a great teacher!
perfect your fundamentals and keep it basic, make sure you make adjustments very quick and act on it immediately. if you see weakness in a persons game then exploit it to the fullest
Yall have any real fights recorded? I had just now subscribed, please come to North Myrtle Beach aquatic fitness center on a Tuesday, would be nice to spar with y'all there if it's not too far from y'all, I weigh 170🥊

Pro boxer such a great and respectful fighter… easily can work his sparring partners but works with them while working on his own game 👏👏👏
blessed to have him on our team for sure 💪🏻
the pro boxers head movement is just amazing
fr fr
I stg watching a sparring match like this is like 10x more entertaining than pro boxing nowadays. Great job to all of y’all man.
You can see the amount of improvement from Kyshawn but Omar made sure he didn’t end without teaching him a lesson, good work.
for sure haha, it’s been a great 6 months for kyshawn

yall straight up inspiring me
glad to hear that bro 🙏🏻🙏🏻
most impressive part of the pro boxer is that he keeps the same amount of energy for all rounds not showing fatigue
When the most experienced in the room is relaxed, it sets the tone for the whole session. Keep it up, man.
omar did a great job for giving yall work and knowledge, knew ts will happen again!!! great work from yall 💪💪💪

it’s okay to bring ur feet together when doing lateral movement, otherwise u wouldn’t be able to move laterally

this was better than the mike tyson fight

true but what makes a pro diff from amateur is their strong base...and throwing sharp punchhes

Which one is the pro boxer and which is one self taught??
The one running circles around everybody is the pro 😂

Do you lift weights as a boxer? Or do you just focus on calisthenics? And if you do, can you please tell me what muscle group you mainly focus on?

Black gloves like pro shirt man where's this gym?
Hey kyshawn do you think i could get some tips, im a taller boxer myself
always maximize your jab and lead hand, and being a tall person that can actually move their feet is a huge advantage.
@kyshawnn1484 thank you, I've been boxing for about 8 months but I've been watching you guys and I'm like "damn I'm tryna get like yall one day"
