I think 🤔 to some extend you correct about list you made concern Benz but there are some few things I must correct here...W203 c180 from 2001 to 2003 with the engine m111 do not have a major issues except transmission if you want to avoid transmission issues then buy Manal transmission type or upgrade it to w204 transmission....
2.for ml and gl classes I have friends who are using these cars with v8 engines I have never seen them on mech shop except for oil change
