Thanks for another great video, Connie! Some of my frugal tips are living below my means, sticking to a budget, and using cash for my groceries. I take out a certain amount in cash each month and when it’s done, that’s it!
I shop second hand for nearly everything and if I buy it new I try to get it on sale. I meal plan, make my own coffee and tea at home and I try to be creative with DIY’s. I also enjoy using “Fetch” where you scan receipts and earn gift cards. Movie night at home is the best. 🥰 Thanks for your lovely content!
@@mandy6062 What you're saying here are all great tips ,although doing all that at all times for real might be impossible for others !! Nevertheless, great tips !! You've got a very strong mindset/ will ,too !! Fabulous !!! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
Thanks for the great tips. I like cash too, but more recently I began using a cash back credit card more….but ONLY for things I would buy anyway. My rule is I must write down every time I use it, so I know exactly where my money is going. I like making money for purchases I make anyway. I also pay it off monthly…no debt.
I was financially independent at 50 years old and pretty much retired at 56. I have been cutting my own hair for the past 12 years, it is so simple. Ask your partner to do the back. I pay every thing with a single credit card. I pay the outstanding balance every month. However, I track EVERY single expense on an excel sheet so I know exactly how much I spend every month. I have been doing this for 6 years. Restaurants have become too expensive so we do most of the cooking at home. It’s much better and so much cheaper. I haven’t had cable for years, I have a $15 antenna and able to get 30 channels free of charge. I do all the home cleaning. I have more time to go swimming, walk 3 miles every day, ride my electric bike for 30 miles 3 times a week, etc. Remember, everything in society is there to make you buy more and more stuff all the time. The pressure is immense. Stay away from the pressure and best advice is to mingle only with people that have similar values.
I'm saving a lot of money buying no fashion. For some years I mostly buy second hand clothes. I'm always looking for clothes, which were used less and look like new. I also use a lot of tips from slow fashion TH-camrs like Alyssa Beltempo (Canada). She shows in a great way how you can mix and match your existing clothes. Greatings from Germany :-)

As a few others have asked...I would love a video on how you cut your own hair, especially the back. When my hair was all one length, I cut it myself, but layers in the back...(oh my)! Great tips!
I'm not a professional, I cut the hair of all my family members. But my hair I can't cut, caused by the back. I tried it in Corona time last year. The right back is OK, but the left back is too difficult.
Thanks Linda! I look on pinterest and save the hair style I want to cut. Next, I watch TH-cam videos of professionals cutting the hair style. Then, I do my best to duplicate the cut. I use my feeling to cut the back. I slowly pull the hair and when my fingers are at the length, I want I cut. Then, I check with a mirror and adjust. It doesn't always turn out as I expected, but neither does a salon cut. You got this!!!
