Batman (in a low level but still he can copy techniques he’s never seen before, wich is actually rare for him), Cassandra Cain, Task Master, Captain America (due to super soldier serum). It’s incredible how so many different characters are really similar in some way.
Gyoro Gyoro is supposed to be a genius tactician but when Garou is knocked out by Orochi they just chain him wall. Gyoro Gyoro is aware of how strong Garou is and thought flimsy chains would be enough to imprison him🤔
i thought it was because gyoro gyoro wanted him to breakout and try and get revenge on orochi so orochi could beat him again and again until garou becomes a monster

@Star Beard. If there is one man above all of S class, there can be two. Just like we don't know the power gap between Saitama and Tatsumaki, we don't know the power gap between Blast and Tatsumaki. Saitama and Blast are (presumably) both god level, Saitama's limits are unknown (we're not even sure he has any) while everything about Blast is a mystery, power, abilities, techniques. It isn't unreasonable to suggest they're alike.

This is all wrong lmao. There's only three forms. Base Garou, Half-Awakened Garou, and Awakened Garou. He becomes half-awakened during his fight with Orochi, this is the form that beats Dark Shine, you called this form "peak red Garou," lmao and said it's the one that beats Golden Sperm, wrong. When he fights Golden Sperm he is Awakened Garou. After that he gains different stages of awakened during his fight with Saitama but nonetheless they're all just 'Awakened Garou.'
I can say that I truly appreciate Garou’s evolution both as a character and ability/strength-wise. He’s one of the characters that OPM followers have truly connected with because he’s steadfast with his ideologies and stands up for his beliefs, despite everyone else telling him it’s wrong.

He’s doing what he’s doing to destroy what most heroes represent in the opm society (narcissists, bullies[examples being tank top tiger and black hole]) but he refuses to work with the monsters who just want to cause chaos for the hell of it. If the 15 yr old comment was based off of how his reasons for hunting link back to his childhood and how he liked monsters, it was because he felt kinship with the monsters in the cartoon that he was shown watching since they had fought for what they needed to protect/what they believed in but were beaten by the praised hero while cursed by others. Remember how garou challenged his bully to a fight that should he win he’d be left alone and he was picked on again, then by teachers who wouldn’t let him explain himself; this was an exact parallel to what happened in the cartoon he watched, to the ‘games’ he was forced to play as monster in: he had been made a ‘monster’ by those around him. His hunts are his second attempt at beating the ‘hero’(society and actual heroes) to achieve his motive (not to end the world or anything crazy like that) as the hated and unloved monster

Probably bruised him up a good bit but the main point of that scene was to show Garou making Darkshines whole world crash down around him. Garou is by far my favorite anime character, his ambitions, talents, abilities, personality, and character design makes him so amazing! He's the only monster I like in One Punch Man, I hope after getting beaten by Saitama, he changes his ways and becomes a hero (the next Silverfang)!!!

The hair is blood. The eye is symbolic of his monsterification. It literally says that every time you get pushed to the limits or to almost death, you become more powerful/more of a monster. That's just how every shonen main character works they surpass their limits Everytime they face a stronger enemy and since OPM is kinda a parody of a shonen it does the same with Garou but at insane levels.

I simply call Red Garou 2 ‘Fused-Clothes Garou’, since he comments that his clothes have fused to his skin. I’d also think that it might work to call Red Garou 3 ‘Burnt Garou’, just because of how much Orochi scorched him and the burned look he had when he first attacked Puri-Puri Prisoner.

Bomb mainly uses hand combat, not kicks. But yeah, Suiryu also uses hand combat when going all out. The only problem is that Suiryu's techniques are tornado-like, and Bomb's techniques are based around slicing and cutting. Suiryu probably crafted his techniques all by himself

I'll be honest I use to disdain Garou and think he was overrated with his knock-off Wolverine hair but he's grown on me. Not only is he a badass martial artist who is constantly evolving and growing stronger but always sticks to his guns no matter what. I think he's what the Earthling fighters in DB should have been to an extent.

His abilities are very similar to Guyver which is what it is probably based off of. He basically attains a biological strength enhancing armor which can regenerate his physical body instantly. In the web comic, this armor actually gets destroyed and shows that Garou underneath did not actually transform.

What if Garou has been tapping into a supernatural power since beginning as a martial artist? And this force only started manifesting monster traits in him towards around the end of the hero hunter arc? Garou fans can hate me for this...the guy has a personal association with monsters that other people don't recognize, you know, because monster is a label in their society more broadly used to refer to things that literally kill people. He can't accept it and channels some seriously extreme emotion (the mental prerequisite) to overcome a gang of A-class heros, Bang and Bomb, etc. Whats funny to me is his opponents could literally never understand his point of view, and he either denies this, or doesn't actually care about world peace or whatever and isn't being totally upfront with himself. That said, Garou's character is a rollercoaster of chaos and I love it.
Honestly with the character of Garu he isnt going into turn into a monster as this shows how far the human can go, with red Garu it shows what it's like to go behind the limits...

i really like the form he is in right now, of course we haven't seen his future forms yet, but in terms of the story and Garous character i think the almost limiter broken form is what suits his character best.
I always wondered the point of character progression on characters that are incomparable in terms of power to the main protagonists I do enjoy content and lore and how sub characters have progressed but one punch man is such a. Satire style anime it’s hard to determine if the effort is worth the output. Now my hero academia.. that’s a well written anime. He is powerful but he breaks. and each character is unique with a possibility of being equal if not greater to the main protagonist. then you have attack on titan. Everyone dies lol.

That's just how every shonen main character works they surpass their limits Everytime they face a stronger enemy and since OPM is kinda a parody of a shonen it does the same with Garou but at insane levels.

Bomb mainly uses hand combat, not kicks. But yeah, Suiryu also uses hand combat when going all out.
The only problem is that Suiryu's techniques are tornado-like, and Bomb's techniques are based around slicing and cutting. Suiryu probably crafted his techniques all by himself

I'll be honest I use to disdain Garou and think he was overrated with his knock-off Wolverine hair but he's grown on me. Not only is he a badass martial artist who is constantly evolving and growing stronger but always sticks to his guns no matter what. I think he's what the Earthling fighters in DB should have been to an extent.

His abilities are very similar to Guyver which is what it is probably based off of. He basically attains a biological strength enhancing armor which can regenerate his physical body instantly. In the web comic, this armor actually gets destroyed and shows that Garou underneath did not actually transform.

What if Garou has been tapping into a supernatural power since beginning as a martial artist? And this force only started manifesting monster traits in him towards around the end of the hero hunter arc?
Garou fans can hate me for this...the guy has a personal association with monsters that other people don't recognize, you know, because monster is a label in their society more broadly used to refer to things that literally kill people. He can't accept it and channels some seriously extreme emotion (the mental prerequisite) to overcome a gang of A-class heros, Bang and Bomb, etc. Whats funny to me is his opponents could literally never understand his point of view, and he either denies this, or doesn't actually care about world peace or whatever and isn't being totally upfront with himself. That said, Garou's character is a rollercoaster of chaos and I love it.
Honestly with the character of Garu he isnt going into turn into a monster as this shows how far the human can go, with red Garu it shows what it's like to go behind the limits...
Fun fact:It is stated that Boros was meant to fight Garou (during season 1) but then Saitama showed up

i really like the form he is in right now, of course we haven't seen his future forms yet, but in terms of the story and Garous character i think the almost limiter broken form is what suits his character best.
I always wondered the point of character progression on characters that are incomparable in terms of power to the main protagonists I do enjoy content and lore and how sub characters have progressed but one punch man is such a. Satire style anime it’s hard to determine if the effort is worth the output. Now my hero academia.. that’s a well written anime. He is powerful but he breaks. and each character is unique with a possibility of being equal if not greater to the main protagonist. then you have attack on titan. Everyone dies lol.
