What a Boss truck. Where is it now? I've got a 1952 F6 that rides like a drag box over rockey ground, but the sound of its flathead V8 is somthing else.
Awesome rig! 👍I seen your other video on it as well. I'd love to find one just like it! I've got a 79 f600 rollback. It would be awesome to convert it to 4x4 😀
They're out there. Most can be had fairly reasonably. There's currently one in Mississippi with a utility bed & another in New Jersey with a flatbed. Both in non-running condition. Search fb market place for F600 4x4.
391 FT are pretty good motors. But if your rollback's engine/transmission is in good shape, I wouldn't be afraid of buying one with a blown motor. You'll have 2 trucks to make 1 good one out of.
Highly doubt it. No chrome grille, no additional lights/switches, no additional fuse panels/mounting holes. The bed that's on it was field/shop built. It may have had a service body on it originally & then a flatbed. But nothing on or about this truck says fire apparatus.

I still own it. It's sitting out back waiting on time, money & ambition. There's a whole playlist on my channel dedicated to this truck.

@@WesleyJohnsonMI hopefully I can find one close to me. Seen one here in Missouri with a 390, that would have been a beast!

I think all those dents in the roof and hood might be were xmas tree owner thru on xmas trees to cart them
Will it start on cold mornings with no choke?
No, choke must be used.

Got a Chevy jump starting Ford about normal lol
Well yeah. Fords get tired from working. You keep a Chevy around for an expensive jumpbox. I mean what else you gonna do with them?
