Trying to learn new dishes since my grandmommy who always cooked for me and primarily raised me passed, and this is certainly going to be one of my staples. Thank you!
I made mine Friday and it tastes just like back in the day and Junior high School Mount Vernon the beefy macaroni LV June 17th 2023 it sure was good my second time doing😊
I’ve heard “goulash” but didn’t know what was in it. So goulash is pasta, ground beef, onions, peppers, tomatoes sauce, and cheese? It is so universal!
not sure how to reach out.. I just made this last night and it was amazing.. The only problem is I basically followed the text ingredients and you have 2 crushed tomatoes on the list.. But in the video you clearly use 1 can of tomatoes and 1 can of tomato sauce.. which I would of preferred to use 1 can of tomato sauce because once it was done I felt it lacked a little but it was great regardless
Ahh, thanks for leaving this comment! That was definitely an oversight on my part! Most of the times I type the ingredients up days after I make the actual dish, but I will definitely update the ingredient list right now. Glad you enjoyed nonetheless, but I'll definitely make sure nobody else has this issue!
@@HOMECOOKHERO Yeah we loved it. I made up for the lack of sauce in my own way so it worked out. I just couldn't figure out why it didn't seem so saucy til I rewatched it and seen it was tomato sauce haha!
@@HOMECOOKHERO Thank you! What size is the stove pot you used to brown the beef and cook the noodles? I found a 15 quart one online but wasn’t sure if that’s too big
@@TheOfficialDoubleK I don’t know the actual size but I would say a 15 qt pot is more than enough to cook this dish. I think mine was around 10 quarts though. Hopefully you can still purchase it!
@@uncledoc9785 No I’m a widower and know he didn’t die from my cooking with your negative ass! He loved my cooking amongst everyone else who eats at my restaurant here in Chicago! You’re sad asl!
@@jazminhoward549 it doesn’t do that at all, it’s just wasted…. I had several decades as a formal dining chef. Put it on the pasta afterwards, it’s just washing down the drain.

Followed your directions to the letter except added a little fennel and nutmeg. Turned out delicious! Thank you.
I have to use ground turkey, but this is what’s cooking tonight at my house. Thanks for the idea of what to cook this rainy, stormy night. Bless.

Thank you! And thanks for watching and supporting! 💪🏾
Looks really good bro
Yes, it looks delicious! Wow, nice and cheesy! Adult dish! Lol
Thank you! 💪🏾
Looks good however you don't need oil in pasta water but just salt.
Oil helps the noodles to not stick. It's not added for flavor.
When I simmer the meat how long and what temp on the stove?
Looks delicious 😍😍😍😍😋
Thank you!
Num...gonna try this tonight
Turn on the captions and watch what it says in the intro! Hilarious!😅

Heyyy, welcome to the family and thank you!! 💪🏾💪🏾
👍👍👍
How much macaroni did you boil?
I used a 16 ounce box for this dish!
What size pot are you using?
This is a 9x13 baking dish, but I think mine might be considered a “deep dish” casserole dish. Hope this helps!

Needs mushrooms. Otherwise it is perfect
Mushrooms sound good!
that oil is completely wasted in the water just washes off
The Oil is used during the boiling process of the noodles so that the noodles don’t stick together or get stuck at the bottom of the pot !
@@jazminhoward549 it doesn’t do that at all, it’s just wasted…. I had several decades as a formal dining chef. Put it on the pasta afterwards, it’s just washing down the drain.
no it stops the noodles from sticking to the pot any pasta I cook comes out perfect everytime
Wtf oil in the pasta water😢
Yes to keep it from sticking
