how many times in this game is there a cut scene wherein a female scientist frantically tells samus to not come any closer

Apparently Adam has a super-secret anti-Samus weapon that allows him to disable her suit (and stun her) - which none of her enemies have ever managed to create, duplicate, or obtain on the black market, and not even the Deleter had. And Samus apparently has no thoughts about him having such a weapon.
But at least they explained why the Queen Metroid wasn't immune to the ice beam that ...didn't significantly affect her.
It's been a couple of years since I last replayed this game, so I can't speak with complete assurance on the matter, but I don't remember the controls being that bad - or, rather, while the design is terrible , the implementation of that design was good, so long as you can handle the wiimote's limitations. It's not a game I'm that fond of, but the controls are a long way from making it unplayable.

i’m sure nobody will agree, but man, ridley just isn’t an antagonist interesting enough to keep bringing back (or cloning, whatever) game after game. he’s just a mute dinosaur, come up something else already
