I think it would be nice if our protagonists can finally get a proper mentor figure that is fairly knowledgable on the subject and can at least set them on the right path
Just a couple of thoughts: Almost everyone who fell into the void had their Aura broken in the final battle before falling. (Blake and Neo are question marks.) Coincidence? Also, I do not think the final battle is at Vacuo. I think we’re going to have another arc at Vacuo but the final battle will be taking place back where it all started at Beacon. It could tie in with everyone returning home not being the same person and it’s also very much in line with the pattern used in the original Final Fantasy and the four elemental orbs they have to collect. Wander the world, then return to the starting point.
I agree. There will almost certainly be *a* major battle in Vacuo just like there has been in every other kingdom, but I think *the* final battle almost has to be back in Vale. The periodic reminders that the relic at Beacon is better hidden, and that Salem's agents can't find it despite months or a year of searching, seem to indicate pretty clearly that the last struggle will happen there when something is finally revealed that renders it vulnerable.
Makes sense. Vacuo's relic is there in vacuo. BUT we still never seen the relic of Vale... Since Ozpin has it hidden very well, i believe the FINAL Relic is still in Beacon. And i think it'll be there where they finaly defeat Salem, I'd love to see Ruby permanently Turning Salem in stone in the final battle where She is then placed on a pedestal in front of Beaco as a show of victory for Humanity and faunus alike
I'd be down with Team RWBY getting some kind of advanced semblances but I don't want them to get magic. Semblances are so much more interesting than straight up magic.
Honestly, even if they did get magic, we STILL don't know how it works. It's never been explained since it was introduced, so creating a system would seem long overdue at this point.
I really needed this video. The wait for v9 is agonizing. They should take all the time they need but I really hope it comes sooner than later. At least I hope we get some news soon.
i would prefer more aura control as powerup like some of team rwby and jaune doing aura arc attacks or have more control over their semblances or aura reinforcement where they make their aura harder to break or something, magic is kinda is more elemental than mystical when used in the series so anything that's more than fireball or lighting bolts like qrow and ravens bird transformations if they go in the magic route
Yes! Anyone remember Volume 1, when Ren focused his Aura to block the attack against the giant snake grimm? I wan't that back. Not just a mindless cloak. But mindful use of their aura as an extension of their fighting styles.
@@lorddragonskin3603 YES!!!!!!! WHERE WAS THAT THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE SERIES????? I’ve always wanted to see more of that since Ren showed it off in V1!!
With Ren it had a bit of an inverse in his awakening and evolution. When he woke up his soul and will would be calling for the silence of emotions. And so he sembalnce let him mask emotions When he evolved all he wanted was the truth of what is going on what they need and wanted and so his power evolved to show the true feelings of those he looks at giving him a rare insight to give him his smarts to figure out everyone in the room
It also makes sense as an extension of his original semblance: If he can see what everyone’s true emotions are, he could choose to mask those emotions and not other ones, or could mask certain emotions to focus on one true emotion.
A theme they keep emphasizing is “there is no victory in strength”. I wonder then if this is the point where they realize Jinn saying Ozpin can’t defeat Salem means just that; Salem can be defeated by others.
The question wasn't how to defeat her though! Ozpin asked how he can DESTROY her. I think that's just as important to consider than the who can do it. Defeating and destroying are entirely two different things.
This is something that I hoped would have happen, and if they do their soul searching they might realize this and how to defeat, destroy, imprison, save or uncorrupt Salem
I like this theory, and I see it happening. But My current priority for volume 9 is every just are protagonists communicating with each and getting their trauma and shit taken care with. Maybe after dealing with each other’s trauma they can then take the path to gain a new power.
Maybe that's what does it: working through their traumatic experiences of loss and how to deal with grief in the future pushes their souls to a higher caliber.
No amount of power will override Salem's immortality. We've seen her be vaporized, twice. It is possible that God power could destroy her permanently(because that is what gave her immortality in the first place), but perhaps not as the Pool of Destruction did not kill her either.
I believe it will take rubys silver eyes getting a upgrade to beat salem for good perhaps ruby will get a form of power that will let her revoke salems immortality you know instead of overpowering it something that can strait up take it away. Though its always been my theory the true final antagonists of the series will be the gods themselves.
@@RayaSerenity I would think that if Jaune powered them up, either Ruby could freeze Salem with her Silver Eyes or get Ren's semblance to somehow transmit empathy (or the needed emotions needed to fulfill the conditions to end her immortality) to Salem. Or they could just get the staff of creation to create some large piston-like prison that would continuously flatten Salem so she can't reform or escape.
If what your saying is true, then my idea of Jaunes true semblance will be like not only amping somones Aura, but also amping his own body. Amping his muscles for Herculean strength, his legs for Flash-like speed, etc... I would like to see them get new power like how Iron Fist and Dr. Strange got theirs. Something like that would be a great addition to whatever they have planned already
To some extent this reminds me with the game RWBY grimm eclipse with jaunes ultimates where one of them can increase his and others damage at 100% which can do more damage to the grimm and the other which can increase his and other players speed
I think Jaune might already have his true semblance. When Carbin was beating on him in forever fall, there was that flash of light that 1) healed all his injuries and 2) reinforced his arua to a point that Cardin hurt his hand punching him. Healing and protection are both functions of aura so maybe he used his semblance to temporarily amp himself. And when the battle of haven happened, he unlocked his true semblance, the ability to amp not just his own aura but other people's as well.
Their semblances definitely need a boost up here. Ruby especially. I love ruby but let’s face it. She doesn’t have the combat prowess of her teammates. Without her eyes cinder who’s a skilled fighter with goddess powers would’ve killed her already.
@@grantlangkamp1909 Her main displays of skill are against grimm, on the rare times when she fights people she feels a lot less dangerous. It would be cool to get a good ruby vs someone fight.
Technically, Ruby's was the first semblance to evolve from volume 3 to 4. Her original semblance was only creating one pedalburst. After she couldn't get past Mercury to save Penny, her semblance evolved between volumes 3 and 4 to where she could split her pedalburst in thirds, meaning she'd never get stuck like she did with Mercury again. Super interesting theory. A couple of things to say about it. First, are you planning on doing a video where you explain your ideas of what you think these new power-ups will be? You sort of hinted at it, but didn't go into any detail about it. Second, if what you're saying is true, I think Jaune might be either the first one or have the biggest power-up. Here's why... We've known from the very start that Jaune has an insane amount of aura from Pyrrha. For a long time he had to rely only his aura and combat ability, meaning he also has amazing control over his aura, which we've also seen many times. Last thing, I swear Jaune has some kind of deeper destiny in this series. There has to be a reason Oz let him into Beacon even though he knew that he wasn't actually qualified at first. With the little hint from Vine in volume 7 to try expanding his aura and the lack of Jaune in volume, I think (and hope) that they're gearing towards a big Jaune story soon. I really hope so, Jaune is easily my favorite character, and I've missed seeing him a lot in volume 8. Oh gosh, that was longer than I meant. Oops!
I also believe that this is the best opportunity for Jaune to power up. If the massive tree really is Yddrasil (the tree that connects the realms of the gods, living and dead) I can see RT bringing a scene of Pyrrha, where Pyrrha an Jaune talk and Jaune finally learns about his destiny, and from there evolve his semblance to be able to heal people from a distance. Also there is the matter of his sword being broken, so we're kinda hoping for an upgrade before he faces Cinder again.
@@rebekahstockwell8706 Same, I do hope on a bit more then the statue scene. Don't get me wrong it was emotional en it was nice hearing Pyrrha's VA voicing Pyrrha's mom, but I don't like the promise team JNPR made (to fight like Pyrrha is still with them), because that promise still has alot left to be desired, so I'm hoping for a good Pyrrha scene so Pyrrha and Jaune can talk things out, that Pyrrha can finally come clean that she loved Jaune and that his destiny is not just to fight as if she is still there, as Pyrrha would never want to shackle them, but that Jaune's destiny is to exceed from his current level.
Now that Winter is now the Winter Maiden, it’s becoming increasingly clear that they’re amping everything up to make Team RWBY become the maidens. Yang being Spring due to her connection with Raven, Weiss becoming Winter because of her connection to Winter, Ruby becoming Fall due to Cinder’s hatred towards her, and Blake becoming Summer (bc there’s no one left + we don’t know who Summer is).
I like your theory, it has a nice theme and i think it's already happening to Blake and Yang, firstly because Adam and Yang have the same type of semblance, so Blake know how to train with that kind of semblance and how it grows and secondly, they are "soul mate", continuing form your theory i think Crwby will expand on the growth of semblance with the finding of the soulmate. Also it would be a shocking twist if Ruby and Neo were soulmate
I think Ruby will definitely get some sort of power boost. I also believe that it will be connected to her silver eyes. Since they originate from the God of Light, then it's possible that he or one of his kind could enhance Ruby's eyes. At least unlock their full potential. Another possibility I see is Jaune receiving a magic sword. Since his sword was destroyed at the end of Volume 8, he's going to need a new one. This sword could have been made by gods and have the ability to kill Salem.
Jaune getting a new sword, yes That sword being able to kill Salem, NO WAY IN HELL, people need to stop trying to make anyone but team RWBY the "real" protagonist
I've always seen Semblances as a form of natural defence mechanism. Aura, (the soul) doing everthing it can to keep it's host body alive. Nora survived a lightning strike, Blake avoids everything, Yang takes the fight part of "fight or flight" very litterally, Ruby can outpace almost anything they come across. Even the weirder ones like lie detection, can prevent you from getting killed in the right situation. Which makes me think that semblance evolution, is litterally just that, a soul changing to survive in it's environment. If we see massive power boosts it should come in the form of an addaptation of their semblance, (Yang being able to output quad damadge instead of double, Blake' shadow clones having sem-autonamy, Ruby reaching a very high level of self mass manipulation to the point she can "Harden in responce to physical trauma" So on and so forth... But mostly, I just want to see Nora call down lightning strikes, and Jaune overcharge his aura.)
4:27 another good example could be them getting new semblance abilities that complement their original semblances or, heck, even allowing their abilities to be active even when their aura is gone making it more like a quirk from My Hero Academia. Actually, back to the whole MHA comparison, theres also the fact that semblances and quirks act in similar ways: they unlock after a certain age, some of them are hereditary, whatever power you wield determines whether or not you can be a huntsman/huntress or a hero in their universe and some come in during life or death situations or based on emotions (likes Juanes semblance and Shigaraki’s decay quirk). We’ve also seen those who have multiple abilities like Wolfram, Nine, All for One, the nomu’s and Izuku in the current arc, all of them being seen as superhuman or even god-like in nature with it taking multiple people just to temporarily defeat one of them: Wolfram need All-Might and Izuku to beat him, Nine requires the combined might of Izuku and Bakugou with OFA and Gigantomachia needed a full on army just to slow him him down
Working off your theory of everybody getting a power up in this new world. Blake's new power I'd like to think she can make a shadow for those she is close to. Like how Vanesse in Black Clover can change the fate of those she cares for. Yang's power is a little tricky because she gets power through pain. So, she can get strength from her own mental trauma, reverberate pain onto her targets, or help everyone around her endure pain like a field medic. Weiss's glyphs when one really thinks about it are like magic circles, or alchemy transmutation circles, the ability to change the nature of things she can control. If Weiss, does it right, she might be able to summon the souls of those who died to battle, and I mean Penny or Pyra. Ruby like Yang is a little tricky to predict, gaining more speed, or able to carry more weight while she's moving with her semblance. However, since she has silver eyes, she may be able to see the darkness within other people. Or like the demon slayers and see a deeper world where she can see the muscle movements of her opponents. Lastly is Jon and he will have to deal with the most torment given the fact he had to kill a friend. Jon's semblance gives power to everyone around him, a walking fuel source for everyone struggling. Best guess is that he will be able to thoroughly recognize the physiology and power of everyone he has ever provided to. Meaning he could have an easier time figuring out everyone's potential. Given Jon's prowess for strategy in the heat of battle, I think it would be a good gift to know what everyone can do.
I was thinking that it'd be weird for the rest of JNPR to not get any semblance change, but then I remembered that they don't really need it. Maybe Oscar could use a semblance, but he DID just learn how to utilize magic at the end of V7. Ren got his semblance upgrade already, and I don't really feel like he could get any better in terms of combat. He could definitely use an upgrade in terms of firepower though, His guns don't do a thing to anyone. And then Nora just learned how to go Super Saiyan with electricity. Maybe she could pull a Hazel and just hook the electricity straight to her veins. I have some ideas in terms of new abilities for the others though. What you said about Ren's change being connected to his original ability got me thinking. It was kind of an inverse of what he already had. He can mask emotions, and has learned to UNmask emotions. So maybe some new abilities would just be inverses of existing abilities. Ruby could slow others down instead of speeding herself up. Weiss could suck things into her glyphs instead of making things come out of them, e.g. dust attacks and summons. Blake could project her shadows forward to attack, instead of leaving them behind as afterimages. Yang could get an ability that utilizes meditation and staying calm instead of getting angry. Jaune could learn to absorb aura instead of only giving his aura to others. I don't really have anything for Neo, yet. I don't care what new abilities they get, I just hope it has nothing to do with magic. That would give them WAY too much plot armor.
I like the idea that jaune would have an alternate power to absorb aura instead of amplifying it but something tells me that its not going to be it. Like i always assume that the evolution of a persons aura is more of a self searching (like a power that can be used specifically to themselves rather than to others like how ren he can mask himself and others emotions and now he can see other peoples emotions or something like that) but maybe im wrong. I just hope jaune will get a upgraded semblance that will be awsome cause i keep seeing that people saying that he will just extend his aura further for it to reach to others and to be honest I'm not feeling that his semblance isn't really a support semblance. As for neo... yeah that is tricky. i mean she just creates illusions into the real world so maybe she would get the power to make the illusions into real objects or manipulate/destroy reality or something 😂
@@Ultra_Instinct_Jaune_Arc Well, the reason it's hard to come up with one, is that she doesn't only make illusions, that's Emerald's thing. She makes things a reality just by thinking about it. I think it would be way too much for her to get an even more overpowered ability than that.
You've brought up some really fascinating ideas with this video, and I think you're probably right about at least some major pieces of it. A couple of tangentially-related things that came to mind for me: 1. I'm not sure that Salem will attack Vacuo immediately. As you said, she will need to rebuild her forces somewhat, and time benefits her since she can obviously make Grimm a lot faster than Vacuo can produce new Huntsmen or soldiers. Also, this may be a good time to employ her tried-and-true tactic of fomenting divisions. I completely agree that Vacuo is going to be under considerable strain due to the sudden arrival of the Atlas refugees (we saw hints of this with the Beacon refugees in the books). What better way to lay the groundwork for an attack than to sit back and let those tensions fester for a while, especially with Tyrian and Mercury already there to stir the pot? On the other hand, if Salem attacks immediately, it gives everyone now in Vacuo a better chance to unite in the face of an imminent threat. 2. I never thought about semblances and/or Dust possibly being unusable in the other realm until you brought it up. But now that I consider that possibility, it would completely change the balance of any fight between Neo and the others. With everyone's abilities working normally, I figured that all 5 (or probably any 4) of the protagonists could eventually overpower Neo. However, Neo doesn't really need her semblance in combat (aside from her glass decoys), and I don't think we've ever seen her use Dust. So Neo would be almost completely unaffected in combat, whereas all 5 protagonists rely on their semblances and/or Dust as part of their combat toolkit (especially Weiss and Jaune).
1:40 - its the brink of human/faunus society collapsing. its the least optimal kingdom for people to live given the past and the othere kingdoms ravaging it. its the FINAL STAND against the "upcoming darkness" which is salem. taking into account all what is happening in vol9 right now i can't wait to see how this turns out. making it a probably 11-15 year journey for vol1 starters to follow along. my heart is ready to be broken by the writers. 5:50 - i wrote this a long time ago, would be interesting to see imo: Weiss inherits "The winter maiden" from Winter as she's her sister and closest human being next to her mother who is unfit to fight. Blake inherits "Spring" from Raven to protect and stand by Yang who possibly is going to be "summer" (the golden one, who burns just like the sun) and be on par with her lover. Ruby will inherit "Fall" when she defeats Cinder, who has no1 else on her mind except Salem who cannot become a maiden (for many obvious reasons)
If time really does flow differently in that realm maybe they could pull a mugetsu training arc and train for a long time in the other world while not much time passes in Remnant. Maybe Jaune could learn to fully utilize his aura and become insanely strong like its been hinted at. I’m excited to see what the power levels will be like in the future. Like is there a level above maiden that’s achievable for huntresses and huntsman? And what’s the full extent of Salem’s powers? She didn’t seem THAT tough in the one fight we saw her in, just that she was carried by her immortality but I kinda got the feeling she wasn’t trying that hard. It’d be cool to see Salem go all out and fight seriously.
I don't think Salem does know how to fight that well. I think she just relies on her immortality and magic. Even when she was fighting Oz, who she's on the same power level as, the only reason she still exists is because of her immortality. She didn't do anything special in that fight. She only defeated Oz because he was severally injured in the initial explosion. Notice, Salem had to completely reform after that, Oz survived it. He died after that to Salem. I don't think she's a serious fighter at all.
@@rebekahstockwell8706 It just wouldn’t make any sense if she didn’t know how to fight. She’s had who knows how many years experience. She’s going to war with the entire world and she doesn’t think that learning to fight will prove useful? Actually even if she never once sat down and trained to fight she probably would’ve just naturally learned to fight due to her massive amount of experience. Also when I said fight seriously I meant that she’d get mad and fight with serious intent to kill. Like use everything at her disposal and attack at full power.
@@JKBlackClover i dont think shes a physical fighter like what it sounds like your implying shes a mage her thing is spells and she did show off alot of spells plus because of her immortality she probably never bothered with learning how to fight after all why learn any kind of fighting style or get training when your magic can beat the likes of semblances and you have immortality to back it up.
heck I'm super late but this is an interesting video not only to the future volume(s) ahead but is interesting for my own oc development stay happy flaming birb :D
I agree that this might be where volume 9 goes. Also Phoenix Night I like your channel and how you present things. I hope at least one of your thoughts/ theories come true.
I did have one theoretical idea that was similar to this, but I know it won't happen. Essentially I was like, "What if each character got the semblance of a deceased character they were fond of. Examples being Jaune getting Pyrrha's Polarity as a second semblance and Neo getting whatever Torchwick's semblance was. However, those lines are more difficult for team RWBY... Realistically, Ruby could get whatever Summer's semblance was or whatever Penny's semblance was. Also, Blake could have Adam's semblance, but that would be weird because he was her abuser... Blake could possibly get Sienna's instead? That is understandable even if they never interacted on screen... Like they could show a flashback of an interaction because there obviously had to be a few, she was the daughter of the guy Sienna stepped in for. Weiss and Yang are more tricky. The only deceased people Weiss was "close" with were Jacque (the abusive father) and Ironwood (the friend turned enemy with a semblance I don't want to acknowledge ever again)... Like, one could make a small argument for Clover or maybe even Fria? And then Yang literally only has Summer Rose, who would make more sense for Ruby for if that were to happen... But would display the fact that Summer WAS Yang's mother, too. It does make more sense than the literal only other character that could possibly pair with Yang... Vernal... Raven's stand in daughter... Yeah no... Like maybe one could theoretically suggest Hazel? They did interact on the same side for like... 5 minutes... So yeah... Not a sound idea by any means, but it was a fun thing to imagine. I guess my best reasoning would be: Jaune: Aura Amp + Polarity Neo: Overactive Imagination + Roman's Semblance? Ruby: Petal Burst + Penny's Semblance? (Unrelated, but I wish that Ruby had kept the one sword of Penny's from Volume 3) Weiss: Glyphs + Good Fortune Blake: Shadow + Grudge Yang: Burn + Summer's Semblance?
Just to let you know, it's been confirmed that Roman never unlocked his semblance. I can't remember where the information originally came from, but I've heard multiple sources saying it.
@@evanchauvey5417 Now that you mention it, I think I have heard that before, too... But also, I'd like to believe that every RWBY character has a semblance and it is just a matter of if it is unlocked or not. Besides, this was more of a thought experiment I had and not a thing I am actively hoping happens.
As we learn more about Salem and her plan, I always get major big bad Final Fantasy villain vibes, mainly I always see Sephiroth in her somewhat. Only thing to make her even more deadly is to give her a behemoth of a blade. As for getting power up semblance for the ones who fell, I think they would have to accept the facts that have been slapping them in the face. Ruby needs to accept that not everything is a fairytale and good guys don’t win every time. I don’t exactly remember what Weiss was struggling with, it’s been a while. I think that both Blake and Yang needs move past what holds them back. Blake needs to accept her past and what she and Yang were forced to do to Adam. She did say that she won’t break her promise but not everyone can keep it. Yang needs to use her brain from time to time instead of her heart. Not that she’s dumb, but I don’t think she even told everyone else that Raven is the Spring Maiden. So I still think she wants to trust her in a way, otherwise she would’ve said something to the others.
These are my ideas for how team RWBY’s semblances can change: Ruby- she can split into multiple parts so what if she took that a step further and split apart her body just before an attack hits her to negate damage making the attack pass right through her. For example let’s say a sword is going to slash her midsection, she could split herself in half right at the point the attack will hit so the sword passes right through her without taking damage. A little like kamui. Just don’t make it as op as kamui because good lord that ability is so stupidly broken it’s not even funny. Yang- a bit simple but maybe Yang could just power up even more like a really suped up version of her semblance. Maybe instead of just her hair her whole body could set on fire and her skin turn red. Because her semblance is called Burn maybe this evolution could be called Sunburn. Blake- maybe she could use her clones offensively instead of just defensively and have them send out attacks. And it would make sense for her character because said she’s tired of running Weiss- idk man her semblance is already op 😂
Maybe for Weiss it could be as simple as she would be able to combine her elemental dust(old magic) and with her summons(made of aura also new magic). I’ve had this idea with my for so long(even tweeted this idea to Weiss’s VA), heck it was even a idea of volume 8 when I like super crazy about writing a new story of my own
Ruby- Ability to form clones out of the Petal Burst duplicates, they can only exist in motion/durring an attack and are all the "real" Ruby, which makes it so any damage sustained affects her main form. Also, the speed and acceleration are increased allowing her to move even faster and appear to the untrained eye to teleport short or medium distances. Weiss- Wiess' Semblance is already super versatile. So, just giving her glyphs more potency should be enough. They would be nearly unbreakable, compared to her old ones which are shown breaking under stress. And she could possibly unlock new ones as well. Blake- Blake's true power has always been limited to taking the hit for her, well not anymore! She would now have the ability to freely create and control multiple shadow clones that would be able to move and attack and persist longer than before. However, they would be dispelled by any solid hit(without damaging the real Blake.) They could also be elemental if combined with Dust, of course. Yang- The Ability to "go super" even without sustaining damage by using her own Aura as fuel. This would be a true Super Saiyan kind of form, that increases power at the expense of burning through her Aura. Because it uses Aura in this way it also gives her invulnerability to weak attacks like gunfire and blows from weaker opponents. The power output is more dramatic than her old method of powering up by sustaining damage. I tried to give them powers that fit their character growth and maturation over the course of the series.
One question/thought I have is: In what order will our heroes unlock said "True Semblances"? Will it be in the order in which they fell, the reverse? Or whoever address their inner struggle/issues first perhaps.
See as I am someone who is writing a series watching these videos being so in depth and discussing theories gives me hope that I'll have a fanbase of people similar to you. Just talking about my series, characters, and things coming up next. Also like how you referenced One Piece, damn never thought I'd see One Piece in a RWBY video but hey I now have thanks! Anyways I'm here to say I love your videos and heck if I make a good enough series one day I might have someone as cool as you making similar videos about my series. Thanks for the amazing content and I hope to see more amazing content in the future! Thank you for making videos!
Ok, here's my take: 1) Technically, only two of the four huntsmen academies are destroyed. Haven Academy still stands structurally, its just the staff that are missing. I can't recall if they were all killed off by Salems agents or just sent away for reasons (maybe Lionheart didn't betray all of the huntsman positions to the enemy). Team SSSN were suppose to continue studying there until after the battle of Haven and Sun decided to his team to Vacuo instead. 2) Ruby does have one advantage against Cinder, her silver eyes. Cinder knows and has felt first hand the power of the silver eyes against grimm and grim enthused beings. In the last episode of volume 7, Cinder knew that she stayed to try attain the Winter Maiden powers, she would've been stunned by Ruby's eyes and thus decided to retreat before the latter can charge up. You could say, thats a psychological advantage. Only reason she was confident when confronting team RWBY in the of volume 8 was because she had Neo to back her up. 3) I been seeing people complain how we don't see many combo moves like we use to, e.g. FreezeBurn, LadyBug. Personally, I like to see these come back too. 4) I'd to see Jaune's semblance evolve to where he either create a massive energy shield around himself and allies. Not sure about team RWBY and Neo though.
First off Happy new year. May this year be better then it's predecessors. For me the predecessors s*cked. As just for my 2 cents. Not having their semblance, nor acces to dust will indeed severely nerf some of these 6 characters, like Weiss who is mainly based on the mage character of any DnD type of games, she doesn't has acces to her glyphs, summons or element attacks. So it would be crazy if Weiss could extend that semblance to not just summoning these fallen monsters, but fusing the summons with her so she is able to defend herself more with Boarbatusk plating or gain the wings of her (so far failed to summon) Nevermore in order to be able to scout ahead, gain the Queen lancer's stinger on her wrist in order to catch falling allies, it would indeed make Weiss even more OP once she returns to Remnant, but in order to stop Salem maybe some OP characters are needed. Same for Blake as she now leaves an empty husk (which she does can fill up with dust) and it has worked so far in the story to keep up with the Ace ops, but after that she was struggling agains the Cenitaur. So maybe she will be able to controle them after the time spend in this Yellow brick road dimension, this would mean she can create walking bombs and she can use her stealth to surround from multiple directions, instead of waiting till someone like Roman strikes first (it would also be alot like Sun's semblance, but without the drawback of Blake having to stand still). I'm not completely sure about Ruby, Yang, Jaune or Neo yet, as Ruby has been training her semblance and it has been evolving from simple speed increase to breaking down her own body mass to move at incredible speeds that the human eyes can't follow, and Yang has more controle over hers instead of going into a temper tentrum. But if this is the case that I'm not sure why they didn't include Nora to the group that fell into the void, she is the one struggling to most to know who she is (as for now it's just "be strong and hit hard"), we as the viewers know her bubbly personality and about her sweet tooth, yet she thinks that it's just her competitive playfull side next to Ren's nonchalant responses. Just saying it would had been nice for Nora to find out what more she could do with the electricity she charges, right now it's just to her muscles, but what if she could flow the electric current freely through her body and have her use her High voltage like a defibrillator (to show that it's not just to power to hit harder, but also help others) or many more stuff she could do with lightning.
@@turbok.o.3324 I agree that he should wield the Sword of Destruction but he still needs a regular sword to use instead of using the relic, so repairing his old sword seems logical.
I definitely think its possible, whether its needed or not I could see the writing handling either case really. I'd love to have sort of otherworldly teachers/mentor figures for each of the characters that lead them to their evolved semblances, maybe having a montage of sorts similar to in v7 where they're each shown trying to figure it out till finally they do. Ngl I'm also hoping for "gods" that are solidly good and not a&*holes, similar to what was shown of the "God of Animals". Ruby: I could maybe see tapping into maybe quantum level effects, since it'd be a furthering of her effects on mass currently. Weiss: I personally have always been a fan of the fanon idea of her being able to manifest her summons attributes to herself. i.e. her donning aura armor via Arma Gigas (especially with how similar to Saber-Artoria she's gotten w/ her v7-8 design) Blake: Having her clone be an entity of its own able to fight at her side as an independent ally. No longer something that just takes the hit for her, but able to function on its own. Yang: This is the hard one cause for me the main go-to is her manifesting fire as not just an aesthetic element but a literal super-heated aspect to her semblance, which would have its base amp effect go up to give more boost. Its a bit late with her having her mechanical arm, but they could revive an old idea (from around the v4 era) of her gaining a "fire-aura arm"; though to me that's not needed anymore. At least these are ideas I could come up with just as quick brainstorms.
Great video. I Think something like they have to accept there inner darkness to get there true abilities. Like Yang taking the damage from her teammates, Blake making shadows of her teammates, Weiss turning her summons into armor, while Ruby fuses her silver eyes with her semblance.
Does anyone else find it funny that Vacuo will likely be the final battleground of another war, since it was already the final battleground of the last one?
4:00 I really hope this isn’t the case tbh. I’d rather they train than have some power handed to them that makes them super strong. I know it happens alot in fiction where the main characters are born with a special power rather than earning it but I don’t like it when that cliche is taken too far. For example Naruto. I just can’t be impressed by almost anything Naruto does because he’s so hard carried by the powers he was born with. Not only is he born into a special bloodline with way more chakra than everyone else but on top of that he’s born with the strongest tailed beast in him. And on top of THAT he gets an even bigger power literally handed to him because he’s the reincarnation of a powerful being. With Ruby it’s not that bad yeah she was born with silver eyes but the eyes don’t carry her in every fight and they’re only usefull in specific circumstances. They usually aren’t the deciding factor. Ruby still has to use her own strength most of the time.
So you are skipping over the whole, training to control his Chaka, sage mode training, learning to work with the nine tails, Rasengan training, or even his training to perfect his 'special justu'. Heck the nine tails was a curse to him to begain with. And his bloodline thing can be said as the same for many others in the same show like Negi, Sasuke, Ino, Konohamaru, and kiba to name a few. And let's not forget the whole orphan for his whole life! So maybe reconsider what shows you pull the characters from!
@@randypelow455 Literally everybody learns how to control their chakra. You have to be born with an affinity for sage mode. He was only taught rasengan because it was his father’s jutsu. Not everyone has a nine tails but if they did other people would learn to control it too. Yeah the nine tails made naruto suffer but lots of people suffered. In fact there were loads of people that suffered way more than naruto and they didn’t get a happy ending like naruto they died. Unlike their suffering his came with power and eventually a friend. The bloodline thing is absolutely not the same because naruto’s bloodline is way stronger than any of the bloodlines of the people you listed. I’m not saying he never did anything impressive it’s just that their were so many advantages he was born with it’s hard to give him all the credit. It’s like he won a gold medal with cheat codes.
@@JKBlackClover Ya the point about blood lines was just a few options, if I wanted to stick my point I would of said Uchiha. And let's not forget the whole clone justu problems Naruto had. And no matter how much affinity you have you still need to learn it, affinity only makes it easier to learn. And yes not everyone can be born with a nine tailed beast for a birthday gift but like they showed in the show if it gets removed death will come unless the beast dies first. And let's not get into Sharingan but that is hacks. Also unlike Gaara, Naruto choose to improve his life instead of letting the beast control his life.
Have you seen Unicorn of War’s rewrite of Volume 8? He touched on evolved semblances for Wiess and Blake, Weiss going armament summon magic and Blake going covert ops with her’s.
This could be like their time in Mountain Glenn back in volume 2, picture it: Our young protagonists grouped around a camp fire, they can't sleep so they get to talking about what lead them there, how each of them are feeling, and what they need to do in order to "keep moving forward". One way said talk could go is them recalling Dr. Oobleck's question to each of them from back then: Why did you want to become a Huntress(huntsman in Jaune's case)? How would they, especially Ruby and Jaune answer that question now after all that's happened since the fall of Beacon.
I don't know if anyone knows about this game xenoblade chronicles and there is this sword called the monado and it gave both the wider and friends Special status affects so Jaune could get a new sword like the monado and he can gave everything Is temporary silver eyes and see the future but maybe that should go to ruby.
Like the fist volume the only way to beat Salem is for everyone to be on board and come together so the god can see them fit. If they stop fighting against each other and become as one unity they can beat Salem. Just remember what the gods said before the left.
I think that if they were just smarter about the way they did things, they could take anybody out. I'm not saying give them as much skill as Qrow does, but increase their intelligence and reaction time in some way. Work smarter, not harder.
excellent point about power ups, its also important to note that 3/4 of RWBY are in positions to become maidens Cinder's last thoughts may very well be of ruby, she finally had her revenge...but the girl came back and now she won't get her revenge, Ruby outlasted her Raven's last thoughts are defintly gonna be of the daughter she left behind, given her emotions in the vault after Yang told her off Winter's last thoughts will be of her sister, the member of her family she had the deepest connection to The dominos are in place for 3/4 of them...if Blake becomes friends with the summer maiden(whoever she is) then they're all gonna become maidens...
I've seen other people talk about this theory and the idea of a Evolution or a "TRUE" semblance awakening is an interesting idea. The power up scenes would be awesome seeing our protagonists go through another outcry of their souls.
Jaune getting visited by the gods of light and dark making Jaune basically a male maiden, maybe (hopefully) less powerful, but still the most powerful of team RWBY and ORNJ would be pretty cool and fit with a lot of fan theories that Jaune was the most powerful (yes these were before he got his)
Jaune becoming the "most powerful" member of the heroes is never going to happen, his story is a deconstruction of typical Shonen/Harem protags, he's just more suited for strategy and support then being the typical "male character who had no idea what he's getting into quickly becomes the most powerful and wins every time because he's awesome and every female around him falls in love with him" kind of character
Honestly i like the idea that semblances grow and evolve sometimes in really dramatic ways just like, naturally, but only if you accept your semblance/how it ties into your life or something like that. Just because it explains what has already happened to ren and nora, they both got huge powerups and/or changes to how their semblances work and they both went through a lot of emotional development, and it could explain why qrow doesnt have control over his semblance (he hasnt accepted it, but if he did maybe he could control it completely)
I don't want them to get magic, but exelerrated Semblance evolution sounds plausible. As long as it's something they could have achieved on their own given the time.
Well from the extent of training, plot armor would have been played out differently where to be transforming into a new and powerful form, but World Trigger didn’t have any of that and strategy played a huge role in the B Rank wars when Mikumo used his low Trion weakness for one of his best strategies, for me it should have more strategic opportunities and using your head to win which stood out for other battle Shonen
I feel like personally, mikumo is going to swap weapons soon, I feel he’s better off as a sniper/gunner over a shooter, he moves smart, and it makes his wire strategy better, with only requiring 2 people rather than three. It allows the other two to act more independently with other wires, where chicks is put closer to fight, providing less counter shooting against meteor, while allowing hyuse’s escudo to work for her, giving her cover, and allows hyuse and Yuma to fight in more of a guerrilla tactic style, where people can’t blast/slash escudo down out of fear of being blasted by chika. While giving mikumo the vision on the battlefield to direct the others better
Interesting theory as usual, though I had to chuckle a bit at your mention of team RWBY having gotten stronger since they started. In fact, I could argue most of them have gotten worse in a way. Sure, one could always point towards the generally less flashy choreography of the fights, making everything seem like it has less impact and is slower, but there are some other important points: Blake fought the Cenitaur in a very... non-satisfactory way, to say the least. She used her Semblance twice, I think, and everything was just super slow. Weiss, and of course I will mention it, doesn't use her fencing anymore. However, as a comment I recently read pointed out, her summons are foes she has had to defeat, making her immoble in the process of summoning. This means she is actively summoning fighters that must be worse than her in a fight, while also making her a big immoble target. Sure, she gets lots of utility, but she rarely uses that utility, or it just gets shut down immediately. Yang is really a weak case for me, as my points are that she doesn't use her Semblance that often anymore, stripping her of utility, but also she got one shot by Neo and charged at probably the worst spot to charge to in that situation in the first place. Ruby is the only member where I can't really see an immediate decline in fighting capability, aside from the general less flashy and thus slower fights. My only point (for now) would be her inconsistent flight abilities with her Semblance. So yeah, I'm sure you can say they've gotten stronger. I mean, they've beaten the Ace Ops, Ruby' gotten her Silver Eyes, and all that stuff. But I can certainly see some aspects in which they actively got worse fighters... which makes these power ups quite a necessity.
Awakened Semblances (in my opinion): Ruby: Can attack from within her petal burst (considering she can split herself midway and bust open a steel door, this is the next logical step). Alternarively, prolonged semblance time. Weiss: Can manifest aspects of her summons, such as Nevermore wings, Queen Lancer stinger, or even wearing the Arma Gigas and using it's sword. Blake: Order/control her clones while in motion. Yang: Gradual power buildup (instead of a burst). Alternatively (and most likely), BIG NUMBER. Jaune: AoE Aura Amp (the obvious path they are clearly going to take).
@@xendra333 considering in Volume 3 she could not get past mercury in her petal burst I thought it wasn't the case. Might need to review Ruby's semblance then
@@xendra333 i would like to point out that that was before the show even began so not everything in it is essentially still cannon or work the same as before
With who the current maidens are even though it is unlikely at this point in the story I still do think all of Team RWBY could become maidens. Since if each of the maidens died their powers would likely pass like this due to their last thoughts; Cinder -> Ruby, Winter -> Weiss, Raven -> Yang, Summer Maiden -> Blake? With Blake being the only unlikely one at this point since we don't know the summer maiden. However true semblances would also be a cool concept for the main characters as they definitely do need a power up in order to fight Salem. Like Jaune could learn to boost multiple people at once by extending his aura like a true inspiring leader etc. Just questionable though as the anime has seemed to build up the concept of the four maidens being the direct opposition of Salem since volume 3 and four seems to be the magic number in RWBY. 4 maidens, 4 relics, 4 main characters etc.
@@kingraplhmativo5178 Kill Salem? But true you don't need maiden powers to defeat Salem, but it would definitely help. Like the easiest way to defeat Salem would be to trap her in a vault that only a maiden could open. Plus it makes sense from a story perspective since the maidens have been a big thing since the story massively kicked off in volume 3, and unless Cinder has a redemption arc or is left alive she has to die at some point meaning her maiden powers will transfer (to either Ruby or Emerald).
@@GlacialGemini I think we’re thinking about this the wrong way, people still talk about destroying Salem. I feel like this will end more as a race against time where, EVERYONE in the human race needs to be United. Salem was human at one point when the hods first left, however, after going into the pool of destruction, she might not be considered human, if everyone unites, (including those on Salem’s side) and they summon the gods, I could see it becoming everyone has United against, essentially, the closest being to the god of destruction, and the gods ruling that the good have earned a “shot” at victory by stripping Salem of immortality, or giving the people the ability to “beat” her, as a test, to see if they’ll take it. And depending on the answer, the gods will rule
@@grahamrafferty5969 Oooh I do like your interpretation of how the series could end! At the very least I do agree that Salem will either have her immortality stripped or she will be purified from the corruption of when she jumped into the pools. The united storyline would have to be executed very well though if that were the case as it could be a problematic ending. For example what do they have to be united on? Just wanting the Gods back in their lives to guide them? Defeating Salem? Or do they have to be in harmony with everyone? Also what percentage of the population has to be united? From a psychology perspective individuals like Tyrian or Cinder will always exist due to human & animal biology and therefore killing them would be one of the only ways to unite humanity if they cannot be convinced. Which the writers would have to be careful about because it conveys the message of killing those that don't agree with you to achieve unification to a certain extent. So a solution to this would have to be humans/faunus themselves would have to evolve to have their souls be more pure. On the flip side the more Salem destroys the kingdoms the more she unifies them because yes she is lowering the population and giving them a common goal. That does raise the question of whether humans/Faunus would have to stay unified after the gods return etc though.
Sorry for a little mistakes and stuff I'm using text to speech and the machine keeps on glitching out and when I say a sentence too fast it pops in whatever It thinks it heard.
Frankly, the series has been getting dark to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if the protagonists had to accept some sort of Grimm power. Salem's experiment feels like a precursor to something more. If they are able to get Grimm powers from the originator, rather than mutate through the Grimm pool, then they may at least be able to wrest Salem's control over her army. When looking at the fairy tale of the brothers, it doesn't seem to match up when it was revealed that the dark one gifted humans with magic. If nothing else, I can see them facing alternate versions of themselves as a test to gain more power. I definitely think Ruby's silver eyes needs an upgrade, but I think if Ren's semblance is able to change again and be able to project emotions then he may be able to fulfill and cancel out the conditions for Salem's immortality. At the very least, I think we'll eventually see the appearance of the brothers. Considering the return of humanity, Ozpin's reincarnations, and the story of the Shallow Sea, I'm not entirely convinced that they really left - just watching. I also have a feeling that the whole theme of people resembling the fairy tales we're used to might have more of a purpose than just appealing to a niche.
I think Semblance will still work and exist there, but they will hopefully gain more powers in that. As they were falling there Neo was definitely using hers while interacting with Ruby.
The only on that that theory could even potentially work with, would be Blake. Even then, it's hard to see how it would affect her fighting style, meaning that there would be little difference, ergo pointless. If there are power-ups coming for team RWBY, it's only going to be Yang getting a new power. For Weiss, it'd be more of a return to form and she re-starts using her rapier as...you know...a rapier. For Ruby, it's gaining control of her silver eyes. For Yang, it's going to have to be either Magic or Maidenship...or both, since it would let her arc rhyme with Raven's, like CRWBY seem to want to do.
Team RWBY, Neo, and Jaune really do need a major power up. I think they will have to boost their auras and evolve their semblances as well straightening the bodies to better handle the increase of power. Alex being the original girl who fell through the world could oversee their training and progression. Also I'm not going to rule out magic because they might need to fight Salem, but is it only to defend Salem and to restore Remnant or be the new guardians of Remnant.
I agree that a power up sequence is in order. I don't want it to be with magic. Also, Jaune needs a new weapon. I don't think Crocea Mors can be reforged. It is interesting that Destruction is also a sword....
I think it would be nice if our protagonists can finally get a proper mentor figure that is fairly knowledgable on the subject and can at least set them on the right path
One would think that ozpin would be a good mentor since he has lived for millennia in various bodies.
Just a couple of thoughts:
Almost everyone who fell into the void had their Aura broken in the final battle before falling.
And i think it'll be there where they finaly defeat Salem,
I'd love to see Ruby permanently Turning Salem in stone in the final battle where She is then placed on a pedestal in front of Beaco as a show of victory for Humanity and faunus alike
It would be nice to have the final battle be where it all started
That is for sure

I really needed this video. The wait for v9 is agonizing. They should take all the time they need but I really hope it comes sooner than later. At least I hope we get some news soon.
My thoughts exactly

I think V9 will be released in October this year, when volumes are usually released.
Yes
@@NotYourRobyn I hope not. It needs to be sooner. At least before RTX
i would prefer more aura control as powerup like some of team rwby and jaune doing aura arc attacks or have more control over their semblances or aura reinforcement where they make their aura harder to break or something, magic is kinda is more elemental than mystical when used in the series so anything that's more than fireball or lighting bolts like qrow and ravens bird transformations if they go in the magic route
And so he sembalnce let him mask emotions
When he evolved all he wanted was the truth of what is going on what they need and wanted and so his power evolved to show the true feelings of those he looks at giving him a rare insight to give him his smarts to figure out everyone in the room
It also makes sense as an extension of his original semblance: If he can see what everyone’s true emotions are, he could choose to mask those emotions and not other ones, or could mask certain emotions to focus on one true emotion.
@@NaviNeku24 I didn't even think about him refining his control on his original sembalnce
Nice to see you back again great content as usual. I hope you are doing well along with your family during this new year in 2022
A theme they keep emphasizing is “there is no victory in strength”. I wonder then if this is the point where they realize Jinn saying Ozpin can’t defeat Salem means just that; Salem can be defeated by others.
I think the answer is saving Salem.
So in that case
Que the RESISTANCE
Or that means that Ozpin himself can’t destroy Salem. There are multiple ways that that could be interpreted.
@@bunnybard Absolutely. Plus, that kind of soul-seeking can lead to evolved semblances!! (Look at Ren!)
@@NaviNeku24 And Jaune-- the fear of what happened to Pyrrha happening to Weiss woke up his semblance.
She doesn't have e to die for them to win tho she just needs to be trapped or convinced
@@RayaSerenity i wouldn't say convinced more so they need restore what compassion she lost after ozma tried to dump her and take the kids.
Yeah, that would be awesome

@@MelvinDRosaria
I've been hoping for a scene with Pyrrha this whole time also.
Imagine winter dies that would be insane, wounder how weiss would react maybe she will evolve
Weiss would probably then just be the winter maiden if Cinder doesn't get it
Now that Winter is now the Winter Maiden, it’s becoming increasingly clear that they’re amping everything up to make Team RWBY become the maidens.
Love this idea of true semblances! Totally makes sense with what they've been building towards in the series
Jaune getting a new sword, yes
That sword being able to kill Salem, NO WAY IN HELL, people need to stop trying to make anyone but team RWBY the "real" protagonist
@@drowknight7521 Compare to Jaune team RWBY are gray in every aspect, lol. Well Weiss +/- ok but others are no no.
5:46 you can't just be deserving, you have to be *worthy!* - Watts
A couple of tangentially-related things that came to mind for me:
Power boost is definitely needed.
This Volume is gonna be so good also this sounds very plausible
1:40 - its the brink of human/faunus society collapsing. its the least optimal kingdom for people to live given the past and the othere kingdoms ravaging it. its the FINAL STAND against the "upcoming darkness" which is salem. taking into account all what is happening in vol9 right now i can't wait to see how this turns out. making it a probably 11-15 year journey for vol1 starters to follow along. my heart is ready to be broken by the writers.
5:50 - i wrote this a long time ago, would be interesting to see imo:
Weiss inherits "The winter maiden" from Winter as she's her sister and closest human being next to her mother who is unfit to fight.
@@JKBlackClover i dont think shes a physical fighter like what it sounds like your implying shes a mage her thing is spells and she did show off alot of spells plus because of her immortality she probably never bothered with learning how to fight after all why learn any kind of fighting style or get training when your magic can beat the likes of semblances and you have immortality to back it up.
heck I'm super late but this is an interesting video not only to the future volume(s) ahead but is interesting for my own oc development
stay happy flaming birb :D
Very intriguing. I do hope we get to learn more about the world of Remnant. The playlist of the videos barely covered any of the questions we had.
Great video!!! I really hope this comes true!!
Possibly a power up on silver eyes, jaune learning to use his semblence offensive vs defensive
I agree that this might be where volume 9 goes. Also Phoenix Night I like your channel and how you present things. I hope at least one of your thoughts/ theories come true.
Nice vid Phoenix missed your content bro
I guess my best reasoning would be:
Jaune: Aura Amp + Polarity
Neo: Overactive Imagination + Roman's Semblance?
Ruby: Petal Burst + Penny's Semblance? (Unrelated, but I wish that Ruby had kept the one sword of Penny's from Volume 3)
Weiss: Glyphs + Good Fortune
Blake: Shadow + Grudge
Yang: Burn + Summer's Semblance?
These are my ideas for how team RWBY’s semblances can change:
Ruby- she can split into multiple parts so what if she took that a step further and split apart her body just before an attack hits her to negate damage making the attack pass right through her.
And it would make sense for her character because said she’s tired of running
Weiss- idk man her semblance is already op 😂
Blake's semblance upgrade is basically Sun's semblance kinda
Perhaps the Schnee Glyphs already ARE upgraded? I mean... Given how versatile they are, it's possible.
"will our heros save the last remnats of humanity or will everything return to ruin?"
“Find out next time on RWBY”
3:42 or a hypi-bonics-rhym chamber
Ok, here's my take:
1) Technically, only two of the four huntsmen academies are destroyed.
Havnt watched the video yet, but i love your idea
I love when he says about. It makes me smile every video. Love the videos, best rwby theories in my book!
Thank you, I'm honored that you think so highly of my theories! (And my Canadian-isms XD)
Or channel it to her mind and make her smarter?
@@gmailquinn That's not how electricity works, that would turn out like the electric chair I'd imagine 😋
Jaune gets his sword repaired and enhanced in the New Realm.
That sounds crazy ngl
@@turbok.o.3324 I agree that he should wield the Sword of Destruction but he still needs a regular sword to use instead of using the relic, so repairing his old sword seems logical.
Its always good to c u r well. also the soundtrack for vol 8 is out, and what date in 2022 do u think rwby vol 9 will come out
I definitely think its possible, whether its needed or not I could see the writing handling either case really.
Weiss: I personally have always been a fan of the fanon idea of her being able to manifest her summons attributes to herself. i.e. her donning aura armor via Arma Gigas (especially with how similar to Saber-Artoria she's gotten w/ her v7-8 design)
Blake: Having her clone be an entity of its own able to fight at her side as an independent ally.
Your video alone got me so excited for Volume 9. At this point I hope it goes exactly like you said.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you're enjoying them!
Does anyone else find it funny that Vacuo will likely be the final battleground of another war, since it was already the final battleground of the last one?
Here's my 2022: Arifureta season 2. Bleach TYBW. Shield Hero season 2. MHA season 6. The Eternals. Doctor Strange 2. Possibly more RWBY. etc
Also unlike Gaara, Naruto choose to improve his life instead of letting the beast control his life.
that sounds so cool
Have you seen Unicorn of War’s rewrite of Volume 8? He touched on evolved semblances for Wiess and Blake, Weiss going armament summon magic and Blake going covert ops with her’s.
10:45 Finally mentioned Ren.
I see this becoming some hyperbaulic time chamber training arc right here.
Gotta get that last traing arc in 💪😈🤙
Like the fist volume the only way to beat Salem is for everyone to be on board and come together so the god can see them fit.
Work smarter, not harder.
excellent point about power ups, its also important to note that 3/4 of RWBY are in positions to become maidens
Cinder's last thoughts may very well be of ruby, she finally had her revenge...but the girl came back and now she won't get her revenge, Ruby outlasted her
Raven's last thoughts are defintly gonna be of the daughter she left behind, given her emotions in the vault after Yang told her off
Winter's last thoughts will be of her sister, the member of her family she had the deepest connection to
The dominos are in place for 3/4 of them...if Blake becomes friends with the summer maiden(whoever she is) then they're all gonna become maidens...
I'd be down for him doing full on Paladin.
@@drowknight7521 Nice joke about Jaune, lol.
He already has the most broken aura and sembalance in whole show if you think clearly about it.
What new semblance, do you think they will get?
Honestly i like the idea that semblances grow and evolve sometimes in really dramatic ways just like, naturally, but only if you accept your semblance/how it ties into your life or something like that. Just because it explains what has already happened to ren and nora, they both got huge powerups and/or changes to how their semblances work and they both went through a lot of emotional development, and it could explain why qrow doesnt have control over his semblance (he hasnt accepted it, but if he did maybe he could control it completely)
Really i just want something that explains ren getting a whole new ability because that was cool as hell but i need to know more about it
I don't want them to get magic, but exelerrated Semblance evolution sounds plausible. As long as it's something they could have achieved on their own given the time.
I feel like that corny pun on "Soul Searching" could be something Yang says I hope at the end.
This makes perfect sense for Team RWBY to get a Power up and possibly fake their Deaths.
I’ve said this in the past and imma say it again, I love your eyes
The army is gone. The emery is still coming in mass
QUE THE
RESISTANCE
Interesting theory as usual, though I had to chuckle a bit at your mention of team RWBY having gotten stronger since they started. In fact, I could argue most of them have gotten worse in a way.
Sure, one could always point towards the generally less flashy choreography of the fights, making everything seem like it has less impact and is slower, but there are some other important points:
Blake fought the Cenitaur in a very... non-satisfactory way, to say the least.
No news of the volume 9, right?
Awakened Semblances (in my opinion):
Ruby: Can attack from within her petal burst (considering she can split herself midway and bust open a steel door, this is the next logical step).
I thought Ruby could already attack within her petal burst like she did in the Red trailer and scenes in V1
@@xendra333 considering in Volume 3 she could not get past mercury in her petal burst I thought it wasn't the case.
Might need to review Ruby's semblance then
@@xendra333 i would like to point out that that was before the show even began so not everything in it is essentially still cannon or work the same as before
is there any info on the when of s9
I'm against this idea, you don't need maiden powers to kill Salem.
That does raise the question of whether humans/Faunus would have to stay unified after the gods return etc though.
i read that novel and Alyx was never mentioned anywhere or any other name i don't recall it even mentioning the girl who fell through the world at all

Sorry for a little mistakes and stuff I'm using text to speech and the machine keeps on glitching out and when I say a sentence too fast it pops in whatever It thinks it heard.
also I can c a possibility where this could be a battle royal on the island, like what happened in 1933 in Russia
I like this series on this topic people should try other what if animated series and seasons are good characters
I mean, their era of humanity are (no pun intended, Y-Y-Yang no-no…) remnants of their former magical counterparts that where long forgotten by time…
I think Semblance will still work and exist there, but they will hopefully gain more powers in that.
True power. Is like lego ninjago when the team find their true potential.
What if they have to go through a sort of mental test (dealing with their trauma and grieves) and once they do that they gain their power
Yes, each of them needs to get some form of enhancements or power ups to combat and defeat a maiden.
I agree that a power up sequence is in order. I don't want it to be with magic. Also, Jaune needs a new weapon. I don't think Crocea Mors can be reforged. It is interesting that Destruction is also a sword....
00:01 Lost? They succeeded at everything they tried; lack of power was not the reason they fell, it was them being stupid for the sake of the plot.
I hope this theory becomes reality... also love the Deadman wonderland shirt
Deadman wonderland love that anime and nice t shirt
