Thank you very much for showing the base model! EVERY "pro" auto reviewer and blogs only shows the top trim and it was very annoying because they keep mentioning the smaller screen here but no image or model of it. Thank you again!

My car arrived at my dealership after 5 months and deposit! Congratulations! No one has about the 250 and I appreciate yours. Mine is the 250 and the next package up. Here in Honolulu we have to wait at least 5 months. I had the original NX 2015 and look forward to the newly introduced 2022! I’m a loyalist to Lexus! This is my 7th car! Thank you again! No, you don't. Servco Lexus is just playing game to make people pay more for the same vehicle. A white NX250 came to port in Oahu last week. Somebody just bought it yesterday.

It’s called Palomino. The car feels incredibly open with it.
When you are in Eco Mode it dials down the throttle response, engine power output and climate settings for increased fuel economy. In Sport Mode the car will be more responsive so it should help when you are going through those yellow lights or just merging in traffic etc.

Ps. How is the interior holding up? I love this color but wondering if it stains or shows dirt easily over time??
A lot of people complain about the door handle, but they are actually easier to use. For transitional handles, we have to use one hand to pull back the handle, with the other hand or arm to push open the door. But for this, u really just need one hand to push the door, u don’t have to pull it back before pushing it, which means that I can be done easily with one hand and without the use of arms or the other hand.

you made the right choice for getting a Lexus as your Luxury car. This car will stay with you for 10 years and won’t give you headache. If you went for a BMW or Audi or Benz, it will be different story. ^_^ I’m waiting for mine too, but 350h Executive package.

Same here. I too am switching from a beautiful but gas guzzler Mercedes GLC coupe. It’s beautiful but drinks waaay too much gas - 19mpg. Can’t wait to get my new Lexus Nx
Nice review! My 2018 NX350H has an issue with rat chewing on the hybrid’s cables. I’m going to trade it in before it becomes a problem for just gas now lol.

I love that Lexus reliability! I’m still debating on weather to get the 250 or 350. I currently drive an Acura RDX with a natural V6, so I might want more hp. Then again, I could also get the RX with the even more reliable natural V6.

I’m thinking of getting the NX 250 over the NX 350h. Seems that the higher cost of the 350h doesn’t justify the better MPG.
I had the basic NX250 in Australia since Mar 22. Decided to get this variant as I really like the 8 speed torque converter transmission (same as the one use in RAV4 Edge(aka adventure)

Picked up my NX250 3 weeks ago! Love it sooooo much. Yeah it is not that powerful but what's the problem? Why I should care if the engine is the same as Rav4? lol~ not everyone interested in torque, horsepower etc all these things, those people are just so annoying🤣🤣🤣🤣. Love my NX 250 and love Lexus brand and quality. Enjoy your new ride 😊

Thank you! Yes I love this car 😊 for a base model it comes with functions that will not come without extra payment on other luxury cars, so it’s really great
For gas it takes regular, I believe the nx350 requires premium though
Would have been better to have the trunk release as a standard instead of fancy electronic push button doors.
I wish this SUV wasn’t so long. I believe this used to be the size of the RX several years ago.

I believe the 250 model is best. It's the only model that doesn't need premium gas. Plus it will be least expensive to maintain since it's base model.

@@DorinGlamour I just purchased 250 awd luxury and I really like it. But I heard lexys didn't produce much of 250 . They made alot of the hybrid variants. But I believe in a hybrid vehicle mire could go wrong .
For now I feel like I’m the only one driving this car, it’s very rare to see it on the road in Miami, I guess because it’s very new still. I watched a lot of reviews that talked about the hybrid version I guess it’s true, but it’s still so new so who knows if they’ll be as reliable as the regular ones
@@DorinGlamour I totally agree with a hybrid system it's prime to more problems. Plus as the car gets older you won't be able to go to a regular mechanic. Cause some mechanic dobt know how to service hybrids. I think 250 is gonna sell alot more than Lexus thinks. When did you preorder yours ?
I agree, there was one gray available with cream interior that I was hesitant about and I asked if they have palomino color coming, and I got a call two days later that there is one and I locked it in while it was in shipment, it took about two weeks so not so bad

Honestly I never paid much attention to the passenger dash and just looked at a picture I took the other day instead of going to the car 😅and yeah I agree, it is plain compared to other cars, but I do like the side panels on the doors which come on the base model, it has a nice texture with a great shine.

I’m not bothered by the passenger dashboard honestly. I did test drove the 2022 genesis GV70 and I do like the fact that the passenger dash color matches the leather interior, and the one I test drove had that same peanut butter interior color and the dash matched, which to me felt more luxurious
Hi there I just picked up my NX 350 and wanted to ask if you remember what came with yours like in the back of your trunk. I had both pairs of mats and the first aid kit but no trunk net or the leather key pouches they say come in the glove compartment. Did you get any of those?

Really? That’s weird because I got a box in the back with all weather mats (plus the regular rug mats), trunk net and leather key pouches (2)

If the battery dies, I believe you open by unlocking with the hidden key in your key fob. Remove the cover that hides the lock cylinder on door handle. Insert key twist and it should unlatch and open. I’m basing this from our Cadillac’s system. It should be the same…

My model isn’t hybrid, but this model comes in hybrid also

For me it was my only option. I got the car back in February and the car shortage was worse and the new nx was barely on the road so every dealer was selling on paper with no cars, I knew I wanted the peanut butter interior color, and as soon as I was informed there’s one on the way I took it without caring for the model which came out fine, I love love love it
What is your gas mileage like with the 250? I’m thinking about getting one soon!
I filled it only once so far lol so I think it’s about 350 miles which kinda threw me off as I imagined in upper 450-500 miles, but maybe it’s because the tank size is only 14 gallons
@@DorinGlamour thank you! I have to drive a lot for work so good gas mileage is a necessity. On the website it says the NX 250 should get around 28 combined.
Yeah that sounds about right, the way one drives also fluctuates so can be more or less. Honestly for a full tank fill up, with gas prices of before the inflation, shouldn’t cost over $25, so it’s built very compact even if needing to stop for gas every 300 something miles😊

You should ask Lexus to show you how to use those buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. This car will almost be semi autopilot with the lane tracing assist and adaptive cruise control.
Yes! I learned that on my own, it’s really great, it very much feels like autopilot as it maintains desired speed, maintains desired distance (Whenever a car cuts me or goes in my lane in front of me, the dash shows that car) and it steers alone following the road. Very cool. Every now and then it chimes to remind me to put my hands back on the steering wheel if it feels no touch

I waited two weeks, as I closed on it when it was already in transit to the dealership

My exterior is white, I love the white on palomino.
My neighbor actually got the new nx too and they have it in that atomic silver color, looks very slick!

No spare tires, the new NXs come with run flat tires

Yeah standard. Also when reversing - if a car comes near, the car beeps and arrows flash on the screen in the direction of the incoming car, and if a pedestrian or any other object comes near the door while you’re trying to open it from the inside, the car will also alert not to open the door. All standard
Does this Lexus use regular gasoline?
Yeah the 250 is regular fill up 😊

I believe almost $42k
It with installed options such as premium paint, all weather purpose mats, towing package, power back door, door edge film to protect the paint and some other stuff like cargo mat and etc

@@DorinGlamour well its is true, search 0 to 60 of the car. Its 8.4 sec which is worse than Toyota Rav4. They basically put engine of Rav4 on a 300lb heavier car. Under perform car with look of a luxury car. You get more of a look rather than performance or car. You like it, be happy and dont care about my comment. Yeah I mentioned it in the video, as I come from a bigger engine and on my second day driving the car I felt the lack of kick I’m used to. (However due to it being a crossover - smaller than a regular suv and lighter, with a sport mode available, you can get that kick, it’s all about getting familiar with the car)
I grew up in top of the line German cars so I’m familiar with specific craftsmanship and I can honestly say I’m super satisfied with this car, it’s exactly what I want and need right now 😊
