This video helped as well as others helped me make a decision on my new car. I just purchased a 2024 lexus UX hybrid. It’s perfect for me. I don’t see myself ever driving anything other than a Lexus ever again. I had an Acura ilx before this. But this Lexus is fully loaded. I love 💗 it! Hope you’re still enjoying yours as well.😊

@@athenaabarnes I also got black “caviar” with the birch wood leather. Black wasn’t my first choice but you can’t be too choosy in this market. There’s still a shortage on cars for whatever reasons. But I love the black. It sparkles….😁🤩✨Great review! 👍🏾

Own a 2022 NX450h+ and love it! 1500-1600 miles(3-4months) between fill ups… 7 months and barely 20gal of gas. Mine is loaded with most of the accessories and driving it over the last 7 months I love it more and more.
Lexus will only improve them in the future❤

Many thanks. Love your car! Based on your review, I also put down a deposit. Must-haves are panoramic roof and palomino. Ideally I’d like Nori Green or white exterior, but if not, I can always wrap the car. Let’s see how long it’ll take.
That sound like a great combo! Green would have been my next choice. Now that more photos have surfaced, it looks lovely. If you're ordering they should be able to get what you want 🤞🏾
Your car is very nice and the interior is gorgeous. I am looking to get one of these soon. How has gas mileage been with the hybrid and does your hybrid have a back up sound when in reverse. I read something about that sound for visually impaired people but it might be for plug in hybrids?
Mileage has been great! 30+ mpg with a mix of freeway and city. But it gets higher with strait city driving. I remembering reading and seeing that too. Mine does not make a sound. I think it’s a requirement in places like Europe.
I’m from New Zealand and ordered mine last October 2022 and will arrive about February 2024 and didn’t need a deposit and only pay the 2022 quoted price so is a 16 month wait and is called NX 350 h limited, so has everything in it like Mark Levinson speakers, full moonroof, leather seating ,14 inch screen, power folding rear seats, self parking etc, I don’t mind the wait.

Congrats. I was told I have to wait until the latter part of the year most likely 2023s. One thing I have noticed in my search of Lexus cars, is that they don't like to factory order to your exact specs. What they do is try to find one that is close to what you want. It would be great to order exactly what you want and not pay for things that don't matter to you. I am trying to get a 350h luxury.
I guess the lead time is increasing, mine was only 4 months. Made to order would be perfect, but I imagine it's not the best from a manufacturer standpoint. That's great! I'm sure you''ll love it as much as I do.
That is weird, as I factory ordered my IS and CT (pre 2020) I did have to wait about 8 months but they were specified exactly the way I wanted them :)

@@josefernandez2722 Just my local one in Glasgow. I walked in, sat with the sales person and ordered it off the computer whilst he was there. You could order yours online?
I love that Palomino interior color. How is it holding up? Does it stain at all? Is it high maintenance to care for it? I'm currently trying to find one in this color.
It’s been surprisingly durable, no stains. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

When you said Toyota hybrid, I thought you were going to say the new Venza.
We’ve always had Toyota’s but started buying Lexus cars 15 years ago. Toyotas are great cars, but Lexus is just a step above. Perfect and last forever. Have 3 in our garage now. RX350, GX460 and GS350. Our 13 gs had 250k miles and hasn’t had a single repair. Only maintenance, and fluids change.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing. That is what I was going for Toyota reliability, but with more refined finishes. I did look at the Venza too but I wasn't a fan of the design.

I told them what I wanted to order, they didn't make any suggestions. Wasn't interested in the plug-in because I don't have a reliable way of charging it. HTH
Jim its your choice what you get. For example, I am driving to much. 1000 miles in 5/6 days. so i picked 450h+ plug in hybrid.
Thank you for the tour of your car. I am considering this car and your video is very helpful. Are you totally fine with the climate control in the touch screen? Or would you prefer real buttons? I think I would prefer real buttons, but maybe you get used to the touch screen.
I actually like the touch screen! You'll get used to it, like you do with your phone. The temperature gauge is an actual dial, so there's that.

Thanks! I find the road noise to be minimal (there, but not truly noticeable, like white noise). It's definitely an improvement over my sedan!

Here in Canada I just bought a 2023 NX350 F sport 3 (gas only model) because it was a 1 year wait for a hybrid (my first choice). It was still a 1 month wait for my vehicle. I also took a trip to Toyota and it was a year wait for ANY model there!!! I can’t believe that Toyota didn’t even call you back… horrible customer service. Congrats on your purchase!! Lexus really is a luxury vehicle. I guess by the time I need a new vehicle the choices will be hybrid or EV only lol.

@@athenaabarnes Thanks! I really do love my vehicle and if I use eco mode it actually does get decent mileage for a gas model. Hopefully you will do an update on your year with your hybrid! I would definitely be interested in hearing your experience with it and pros and cons. That is the future 😎

I am waiting for mine too.....They want me to pay over 6% MSRP plus waiting even I have an excellent credit score. I understand the market these days but Is it normal thing to do for Lexus or Toyota? I have never paid over MSRP before. ...... Did you do that too?
It differs by dealership (it's not specific to Lexus/Toyota). I have read people are having to pay over MSRP (in general) depending on the vehicle and location. I paid MSRP for mine, and Toyota quoted me MSRP when I put in my request. I would shop around, hth.
The dealerships are ran by non Lexus/Toyota corporations so you could get a better deal going to another dealership
Hi I'm waiting for mine, they already offered one, but It didn´t have all the features I wanted, so I'm still waiting. I had to put a hold of 1000usd (they said they refund it if I don't like the car, we will see if that is true). What was your Out of the door price? any markups?
Had a similar experience too. Definitely worth waiting for the one you want. I'll be making a video on pricing soon, but I paid MSRP. There weren't any markups thankfully!

I got it in the midwest, things are usually more affordable on this side of the US.

I think you made the right choice. Buying cars now is complicated; I wanted to test-drive the NX 350h but there are none even to sit in. Black exteriors make the car look very classy. Dual headlights were a good choice. I (personally) would skip the 20 wheels, panoramic moonroof and I think light interiors get dirty easily and would get something dark. Is the big infotainment screen worth the $1,100? What about heads up display ($1,000?).
It was annoying not being able to see the options, much less do a test drive. I get what you're saying. Dark interior is definitely the safer choice, but I like neutrals and light (thus the glass roof). If had seen the options in person I may have made other choices, but I'm happy with everything so far.
For your actual questions: The smaller infotainment screen did not look proportional, plus my vision is impaired so I like the larger screen. The heads up display keeps my line of sight on the road, which is nice. These features are all conveniences, so the worth is relative.
@@athenaabarnes Actually I agree with your choices (maybe except for the panoramic moonroof which I would never use and the 20" wheels). I thought about the 450h+ but even with the tax rebate I find it expensive.
I know in the US if you want the panoramic sunroof, you’ve gotta get the top of the line luxury package

My wife just bought a Nori Green 350h Luxury. We’re getting over 35 mpg this last few weeks.

I got a 2020 nissan versa sv in monarch orange and i love it. i'm a toyota girl but thats just the car i ended up leaving the lot with lol i think i dropped the gun too fast and didnt bother to see what else other cars i could potentially buy 😂 but its all good, i'm GRATEFUL. I ordered mine in houston. Have to wait 3 months I was told. Still waiting. Dealer asked for $1000 refundable deposit. Having to pay full price too. Sad 😢
Yeah, seems to be the norm unfortunately. Not paying above MSRP is a deal nowadays.
