- Fish Molly also known as Meen Moilee is a Kerala style fish stew usually served with Appam, Idiyappam, boiled rice etc. In Malayalam ‘Molee’ means ‘stew’. The main ingredients for this recipe are ginger, garlic, coconut milk and some Indian spices. Fishes usually used to prepare this curry are Kingfish, Pomfrets, Karimeen etc. But you are free to use any fish which is fleshy.

🧺 INGREDIENTS
Fish (മീൻ) - ½ kg (After Cleaning)
Crushed Pepper (ചതച്ച കുരുമുളക്) - 1+1 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder (മഞ്ഞള്‍പൊടി) - ½ + ¼ Teaspoon
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - ¾ + 1½ Teaspoon
Lime / Lemon Juice (നാരങ്ങാനീര്) - 1 Teaspoon
Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - 3+2 Tablespoons
Cardamom (ഏലക്ക) - 4 Nos
Clove (ഗ്രാമ്പൂ) - 6 Nos
Cinnamon Stick (കറുവപ്പട്ട) - 3 Inch Piece
Ginger (ഇഞ്ചി) - 1½ Inch Piece
Garlic (വെളുത്തുള്ളി) - 8 Cloves
Green Chilli (പച്ചമുളക്) - 4 Nos
Onion (സവോള) - 1 No (125 gm)
Curry Leaves (കറിവേപ്പില) - 2 Sprigs
Coriander Powder (മല്ലിപ്പൊടി) - 1 Teaspoon
Thin Coconut Milk (കട്ടി കുറഞ്ഞ തേങ്ങാപ്പാൽ / രണ്ടാം പാൽ) - 1½ Cup
Tomato (തക്കാളി) - 1 No
Thick Coconut Milk (കട്ടി കൂടിയ തേങ്ങാപ്പാൽ / ഒന്നാം പാൽ) - 1 Cup
Vinegar (വിനാഗിരി) - ½ Tablespoon

I use my mom's traditional recipe which does not have coriander powder at all. It also has more of tomatoes and saute it with onions properly to get the acidic taste instead of vinegar or lemon juice. This is a variation from the usual one,I think,not sure . Should try this too!
