Today my sugar was 185 after lunch. I read about the exercise . I didn't it for 2 min. and checked my sugar it's like magic it was 135. I can't believe. Thank you Dr.
Yesterday my sugar level was 354, I did this exercise for approx 7 minutes (5 minutes sitting + 2 minutes standing) , after 15 minutes, my blood sugar dropped to 274. I repeated the same while sitting for another 7-8 minutes, waited for 15-20 minutes & checked my sugar dropped to 200. This exercise is a magic. Generally if I do brisk walk for 30 minutes, then my sugar goes down by 80 units. Thank you Dr. Vivek. Hopefully this will help me reverse diabetes.
Hi, can I ask if you're a type 1 or 2 diabetic? I am type 2 and my sugar was 300 when I checked 30 minutes ago due to a larger carbohydrate meal that I usually don't eat but I wanted to treat myself. @@swryetc8554 hi. If you are going to eat a large carbohydrates meal or some sweet or chocolate and you are worried about blood sugar rises, eat a few almonds after your meal. Or do any or all of the following options to keep blood sugar in check. 1. 3 or 4 days a week have soaked methi seeds and the methi water on empty stomach. Overnight soak half tsp methi seeds in about 100 ml water and eat this just after brushing your teeth. 2. Just walk for 5 minutes after eating high carb meal especially or just even walking for 5 to 10 minutes after meals lunch and/or dinner will work wonders for blood sugar management. 3. Try to have some onions chopped or sliced ones with your meal they help in better blood sugar management.

I did 100 heel lifts and then walked around for a couple minutes due to the slight burning in my calves. I did 100 more, waited a couple minutes and retested. The new number was 142. Thanks Doc...

I have done calf raises to improve my blood circulation in my legs and to stretch my fascia to improve my foot pain. Now one more reason: to reduce my blood sugar. WOW! Thank you Dr Joshi.
I hope that's not fasting glucose. Not to scare you, but out of concern, 126 mg/dl is the cut-off for pre-diabetes, fasting glucose. It might not hurt to check with a doctor.
Great advice. I tested on myself (I have a CGM) and it works! Great doctor. After a heavy carb meal, my glucose dropped from 206 to 186 in 2 minutes of this exercise and even faster by adding squats to it!

I did this exercise for 2-3 minutes as recommended by Dr Vivek and measured before and after the exercise- the Blood Sugar level readings were 174 and 166 respectively, post 1 hour from my dinner. I was excited to give it a try. I set the phone timer for 2 minutes. Beginning BG 180. After 2 minutes of the exercise BG 185. Yes it went up 5 points. Diabetes sucks.

Glucose reading was 124. Did 2 minutes of lifts and then some other chores. 23 minutes later glucose was 117. 7 points in the proper direction makes it very worthwhile. Now I did 20 pushups. 18 minutes later I'm back to 123. 27 minutes later my glucose is 131. 2-1/2 hours later after a 1 mile walk, glucose is 119.

I did these exercises almost every day for several months along with gorilla jumps and some African twerk exercises, and it really, really made a big difference. It was almost like I didn't have diabetes, and I got lazy and stop doing them. Now, I'm having neuropathy issues again.

I was very sceptical about this, thought it may work for those with chronically high blood glucose or type 2 diabetics but not for those with good glucose levels. Just did 2 minutes fasted, was 4.7 then 4.6 , brilliant hack to have in your arsenal. 👍

This exercise has amazing results. I do it after every meal for 100 raises. I am pre diabetic. I do leg stretchs after meald.
Just can't believe i had 403 after doing this exercise it came down to 350 thankyou how many times to do this for one day thankyou so much
