buddy, can you imagine having one of them??? I would love to be able to chip rather than pile brush up. That would eliminate lots of burn piles I do believe
Safety is simply a good habit. Ear protection is affordable nowadays. I keep safety glasses and 30 dB earmuffs on my tractor, in the shop, and in my truck. It's all about accessibility rather than inconvenience. Watching my father replace hearing aid batteries is all the reminder I need. Have you tried the NIOSH Sound Level Meter app on your phone? Chippers and shredders are great on any property.
Good clean up detail, neat idea using the back of the RTV, perfect way to haul and dump. Might want to wear leather gloves, Poison Ivy vines are hard to see as you grab branches. Also might want to think about a 2x4 as a push stick instead of reaching in there, if you slip, ouch.
Works well Lucas. I have often thought about buying a chipper. Lots of dead fall here. Maybe this year. Take care. PS: leave some berries for the critters.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead do they make good firewood? Do you have an iPhone? If so, it is super easy to identify a tree if you can get to the leaves. Just simply take a picture hit the “i” for information and it has a plant identification thing that pops up top. May give ya a clue 😉

@oakiewoodsman I agree ot woukd be great to own one of these. I've looked at a couple that would go on the back of the tractor
That’s a great setup!
Thanks! Seems to be doing a nice job for us so far!
wow, electric start and everything. Will be watching to see how this machine works out for you!
Super handy so far! I think I’ll have lots of use for it.
Cool all-in-one rig you can take right to the work!
Yeah, it is working out well!
Nice tool. I'm surprised mechmaxx doesn't have a log splitter for sale yet.
I’ve heard rumors…
Nice little machine!
Thanks
I believe this would make a huge difference for me. I am constantly picking up branches and not using them for anything. God Bless
They are handy. Cleanup and mulch all at the same time.

I haven’t. I’ll look it up. Thanks!

The whole bed loading and tarp idea just kind of evolved as I hooked up and got started. It worked out really well!

It is handy to have around for sure!
I love blackberries. Mine have about dried up
They are good!
You had so many last time I was out there Mike!
@@oakiewoodsman we had some good harvests this year
It's either wear the hearing protection occasionally now or live with a hearing aid always attached down the road.
Yeah, I know it’s worth it…
Lucas, what are those smooth bark trees in the background with a bit of a greenish tint? Right after you stuck that huge log into the chipper.
Man, I am not the guy to identify trees. I am not sure. They are super fast growing and all over my property though.

My watch does that too and it drives me nuts
