You sure can, check out the video I posted yesterday, I share information on exactly that. Jerry’s Resharp is one supplier that has you covered. I’m running Ripper 37s and Timberdog Platinums from there…
This thing is tempting. I never really considered milling but since I need to start dropping trees, the idea of building something like that is mighty appealing.
Anyone have trouble with the chain connect links on the cable to raise and lower the mill head I'm very happy with my new mill but one of the connector links pulled the threads and almost dropped the mill head off the cable on the right side
Great video. What is the width of the rollers that the track would need to be to support the mill. Curious because I already have a 44’ bed that I am looking to convert from Foley-Belsaw Circular blade mill to a bandsaw mill to cut maximum of 40’ beams if I wanted too.
You love the ripper 37 blades. I’ve been using them for two summers now no complaint. Yes, they are sharp and the entire tooth is heat treated instead of just the tip of it. I just sawed 40 white Pine trees 16 to 12 inch diameters 16 foot long. Same blade no pitch buildup. Great sawblade better than the originals that came with my woodland Mills.
Ever thought about making a load assist platform? You can hook up a drill to a wench and don't have to rely on the tractor to lift logs up there, just move the log in front of the mill.
I want to see you put a 40 inch diameter log on the new mill. I have a hm122 and i have milled 32 inch diameter logs. It's not easy and it's slower but can be done. Very nice upgrade.
I’m showing you my lumber and what I am building with it. Not much I can hide. 🤷🏼♂️ I haven’t had any issues that I haven’t shared. I believe they are a great value.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead the 26 with E start and a track extension. On the website for $3000. I see everything you are showing in the videos and it has made me confident that it's the way to go. Thank you
Can you help me with something? I've got the sm32 i got about 6mo ago, and I've only cut three 8ft pine logs into 1bys, BUT I keep throwing the blades , i torque it to 28ft lbs with a perfect alignment from book specs, i thought it may have been the belt, got a new one. I don't know what to do at this point. I think i will love it IF i can get the kinks worked out. Do you have any suggestions?
Good lookin' mill sir! Nice upgrades. Bet you a dollar you'll end up lowering the handle arm - seems that when you'd raise or lower with that handle, there'd be a good chance you'd hit your elbow. :p
I will be purchasing an SM26 soon because of your videos. I put in your code for the sm26 bundle and it comes out to less than $3,000. How can you freaking beat that price? It is over $1,000 less than any competitor in the same size range.
Exactly! I am sponsored so obviously that makes folks skeptical of what I’m saying, but these mills are the best value on the market right now. I am enjoying mine so much!

It sure is a lot of fun! It’s hard work, but rewarding.
You've become quite the "saw-your", as Tony would say!! Congrats on the upgrade. 🚜💪!
Thanks, Bud. Maybe I’ll eventually learn what I’m doing…
The upgrades you mentioned are definitely nice improvements. I cannot wait to see what the new blades are going to do for you! God Bless
Thanks, Bud!
MechMaxx now has a SM22 mill for base price $1999! I'm Declaring I will own 1 very soon. I hope by spring! Be Blessed.
Awesome! I hope you do. It is very enjoyable. Use the code in my description and save another 5%! 👊
I’m looking to maybe buy one here in Australia 🙂
Now we need to see the BX load a 16' long 32" diameter hardwood on the mill 😁😁
Not gonna lie, it set a 21” by 13’ poplar today. About 1100lb.
Hi Lucas, congratulations on the upgrade.
Thank you! 👊
Your last mill was pretty darn impressive! This one looks very nice for sure. The extra HP is gonna be very nice.
Thanks! This mill is doing the business! Just loving it!
great to see your channel going great guns Mate.. Regards from Australia.
Thanks for the support!
Awesome! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the wrenching though. At least give us a shop update 😂
congrats on the mechmaxx sponsorship and the new 32 mill. now you have more reason to buy that big TYM. have fun with it

That is a nice looking mill. Looks like some nice upgrades they did to that machine. Im going to have to send you some more stickers for that mill lol
I found yours. I knew I saved it but I couldn’t find it before this video

What is the width of your base for the 31" sawmill? What is the rail width?
I meant SM32
37”
Now you really need that bigger tractor haha. Looks like a great product and excited to see what you can get out of that bad boy.
Absolutely! I already have a few monster logs piled up that I can’t move!
Good review, and I'm sure the electric start will be appreciated. Did you install the laser again? Now to see it in action.
I did. I have an upgrades video coming next showing the laser, and some other must haves…

I have mechmaxx 32 in got thru you. Mine does not have Kohler engine. When did that start
It is an upgrade. I believe it costs about $400 more.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead ok well nice they have that now. Hope the ducar engine holds up
They seem solid. They actually even have a 36” mill with a V-twin Honda now. That’s a nice setup!

I have thought about it. It might be the smart move really, but part of me wants another machine around. 😊
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead I can't argue with that! Why not both?

Do you mean, how thick of a board will it cut? It will do 7" thick...
