Congratulations on your exam results, glad you took time off TH-cam for it! Prioritising and self care 💪🏽
Great video. Very informative and helpful. Very pleased to hear about the pass/fail as that definelty reduces the pressure from undergrad and masters etc.
Open book sounds like a good idea. Although as an AP and psychologist you need to be able to develop ideas for formulation and treatment plans etc. without books, you are able to use your books and resources when creating plans and writing formulations etc., so it sounds like a realistic examination to me (as well as easier 😅)
    Thanks again!

Glad you found it helpful, and thank you for your kind words - a break was needed! Totally agree with you, open book takes the pressure off memorisation and (I think) more reflective of real-world practice so I hope (for everyone's sake) it stays haaha

Congrats on your exam results, gurl!! Another fab video, I can't get enough of your content nowadays. I'm praying to all divine creatures out there that Cardiff DClinPsy does not have any exams 😂 I had 44 exams in my Eastern European Psych undergrad degree and another 6 of them in my UK master, so I'm hoping I've been punished enough for a lifetime! 😂

@@TheWorryPeople I'm already mentally there, worrying about what the hell I'm going to do with my life 😂😂😂 Problem is, I'm 30 next year with a kiddo at home, so that doesn't help matters one bit 😂😂🤦‍♀️💖

Would you be able to do a video explaining the differences between psychologist/psychotherapist/counsellor etc please?😄😁
I’m going into my final year of psychology and I literally don’t know what my options are job wise in Ireland 🙃🇮🇪

I am currently a second year psychology student.. really perplexed, anxious and overwhelmed thinking about life after graduation.. and whether i will find a job. Due to covid i have been unable to find work experience.. so i don't know, what encouragement would you give me to reduce these nerves? Kindly appreciated.. and very much appreciate the content !! 17:18 28/08 sat

Hi Maruf - really sorry to hear that you've been find it so tough. I can only say that I felt EXACTLY the same when I was studying, and I had a really tough time after graduating. I promise though, it does all work out - once you graduate keep applying, seeking feedback, connecting with psychologists as much as you can and you will find opportunities! Try to focus on getting the most out of your studies for now (if I had known then what I do now about finding work then I would have spent so much less time worrying!!!). Best of luck to you
