    Can’t wait to get myself a pair of 4311. What’s your opinion on the 4425 / 4430 / 4435 series?
And by the way: great music in the background. What’s the bands name?
Cheers from Denmark and I hope you’re cracking the 1000 subs !

I find rare that you haven't made a video of the best bookshelf JBL produce, the L112

You should consider making that grille cover magnetic. I did it with a pair of CerwinVega! Speakers. I know not factory but just a nice modern upgrade. It is really cool as long as you make the magnets invisible

Of the 4 variations of the 431x series the 4411 is absolutely the worst of the bunch. Just ask Bruce Sweeden who calls the the 4411 doggy doo doo. He just loves the original 4310 as do I. Also the original 'inline" L100 sounds better than the off set L100 you commonly see. The reason for the change in models was the LE20 tweeter had a rolled off frequency response to mimic the Altec 604 in a smaller box which was the dominant studio monitor at the time. However both originals --4410 and inline L100 had a seamless meld between mid and high sounding like a single driver. Part of the magic of those early models is the 'near' lack of cross overs which basically let all of the drivers overlap and sing out.
Being an old guy I have extensive experience on all 4 variations as basically-- there was no other choice for 'portable' monitors back then.
