The beauty of Lighthouse Horror narration, and what makes it SO MUCH better than others, is that you don't sound like you're reading, you sound like you're recounting a story from your own life and your inflections are always perfect, they never sound off or misplaced.
It makes or breaks creepy pasta.
I love all of your narrations but I will say I enjoy this style more than the recent ones. I much prefer getting straight in to the story with no explanation. It keeps the listener guessing a bit more

It would be interesting to find out what really befell his parents, seems they have fell victim to some kind of magic perhaps an oceanic deity turned them into something.

My mother died by drowning… I definitely did not think merpeople. Saw it in the comments and didn’t understand what was going on, and I assumed the parents had drown earlier in the day.
Okay, I finished, and y’all crazy I got nothing about mermaids. His parents clearly drown and their bodies couldn’t be recovered - a huge number of drowning victims never are - and they’re trying to bring him with them. Don’t know why they’re so murderous. Sucks to be hun.

You have no idea how unbelievably refreshing it is to hear someone capable of talking like a normal adult. You nail it: inflection, cadence, tone, all of it.
There's only 2 or 3 other channels I follow because I just can't get past people being unable to correctly pronounce even the most basic of words.

In some cases you can use ESRGAN or avisynth to clean up video, especially if you have to upscale to your target resolution. For the former search "upscale wiki esrgan model database". For compression artifacts I like the "SaiyaJin DeJpeg" model, it's fairly universal as well. Can't comment on chainner (I'm on win 7), but have used cupscale for video. No idea if plugins exist to integrate with general purpose editors. eg I tested on the ocean at 14:50 and got good results, particularly on the moon.
Also, I lke how the main character seems pretty much unconcerned with the untimely supernatural death of his parents. Yeah you know.... things were weird for a few years, lot of legal stuff (probate, ugh, I know...) but yeah I moved out of my gram's and just livin' life these days, you know how it is.
