@@phill93 Have... have you literally seen Ethan playing in any other performances. I hate to be that guy to compare members in a band that are good friends, but the guitars definitely overtake the bass, and the drums too at times.
yeah if you really pay attention in close detail to what he’s doing, he’s really freaking good. these guys may be playing some indie rock, but they are really talented at their instruments.

The audio engineer did a fucking fantastic job, in a lot of performances seth is completely drowned out but I heard the bass rly clear in this and none of the instruments overpowered each other

they are pretty face melting live - also was at that glasgow show !
Saw them in Bristol a few years back as my first ever gig. They were insanely good.
They’re incredible live. Had the pleasure of seeing them in Brooklyn a few months ago and they tore the place apart. Crowd surfing, moshing, was an absolute blast.

Ethan Ives always kills it.
This is really my favorite performance for so many reasons and most of them not even musical. Look at what Ethan and Will are wearing! Related, really: I don't like it that people compare this band to pretty much every other band but with this suit on, Will and some of those motionsand vocals ("say say say say say"), I expected him to go full big suit David Byrne any minute. Instead he now wears a gas mask so go figure. There's no way to figure out who's wearing the combat boots but it's Will cuz he's the one who swaying. Footwear is important on a man , it just is, and no kidding I wish they showed the bands feet more than they do. It's K XP so it's gonna sound great if the bands giving a good performance and it's overall just a great performance by each of them, totally strong. Will looks super confident, Ethan is in his element, sorry *I don't know the bass player's name* is just groovin out looking high as a kite and the *drummer whose name I do know but can't remember* is just tongue out happy as a clam like he always incredibly is, holding it all together with his great drums.

One thing I find really strange in general about CSH and Will is that he writes about depression frequently and one assumes this is probably autobiographical yet he has produced more music in a short period of time than many musicians produce in their entire lifetimes. Yet I can't get out of the fucking bed for 6 months now, I want to know the secret.

having depression isn’t always about being unable to make things, it can be overseen as a therapy also
I think luckily the worst times of Will’s mental health are behind him- a lot of the depression he writes from is concentrated most heavily around his most openly suicidal songs in the numbered albums from his teenage years. But I know what you mean. I can scarcely brush my teeth half the time, and he has produced hours and hours of the best songs ever :(
