I have loved this song for 45 years, and it still delights me! I wish this version of "Joy to the World" would become a holiday hymn for everyone, whether Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh or any other religion
This song even how decades later brings back fond memories, Back then the song mentioned "mighty fine wine" & back in those days I was drinking Mateus when I was in my 1st enlistment in the Navy. Now decades later my doctor allows me to drink wine and guess what that was Mateus again. I'm now in my 70s, military retired, 24 years service) and I still like the original Three Dog Night!!! Those simply were the days and those TDN songs still have much to say in this era. Now I'll sit back, drink my wine and groove back when things were simpler but at the time then I didn't think things were that simple! Alot has changed then my friend.

He has his 80"s look going on, different hair cut, but still doing his grooving to the music, like the Cori we knew and loved. ❤ Looks like Danny has managed to get his hair a little more under control there, too. Lol ! I saw them here in Tucson,(right before the social distance thing started)..Great show! He still has a good head of hair going on today!!
Exactly, i'm a chuck fan and yes by the early mid eighties he was so badly into heroin he was thin and was getting teeth pulled cause he was barely able to take care of himself. Looks better at 70 than in his 40's.
